• john (8/5): Nice place to stay. - We spent 4 nights after flying to Naples from California. Our host, Ico, was very welcoming and helpful. It is a 3 unit B&B on the 9th floor of a harbor front building with a stunning view of the bay and Mt Vesuvius. The place is near restaurants and a super market. Be prepared to pay 0.20 Euro for the elevator up and down. I would stay there again. Parking would be a hassle, but we did not rent a car until the last day.
• TRINIDAD (9/5): - La decoración de la casa me ha gustado mucho, por toda la casa hay obras suyas o diseñadas por el anfitrión. Ico es muy simpático y nos proporcionó todo tipo de orientaciones sobre que visitar. También nos recomendó restaurantes tanto por la zona, como por el centro de Nápoles. El desayuno muy bueno, y para quien le gusten las infusiones las tenia de todo tipo y buenísimas. La habitación tenía salida al balcón y aunque el edificio da a una calle con mucho tránsito, como la casa está en el piso 9, era agradable sentarse en el balcon y disfrutar de la vista al puerto y la ciudad. En general todo ha ido bien, por poner una pega el piso da a una calle con mucho tráfico y se oye el ruido

• Richard (7/5): - NIce views of the bay and Vesuvius. Interesting host who is long time resident and offers tours of Naples and Pompeii and gives restaurant recommendations. Host prepares breakfast for the guests and we all eat together at the kitchen table. Too much traffic and noise for us even though on 9th floor. Multi-lane major transport artery below with traffic even in the middle of the night. Also dozens of trucks and cars waiting for loading to ferries right across from the apartment causing additional noise and exhaust fumes. We had to always have the air conditioning on even though it was not hot out. The apartment was clean and beautiful, but the building location is fairly dirty.

Ico besorgte uns im Vorfeld Eintrittskarten, plante den Besuch von Pompeji und gab uns viele tolle Tipps für Lokale oder den öffentlichen Nahverkehr. Jeder Tag begann mit einem Highlight, einem individuellen Frühstück. Alles ist sehr gepflegt und Icos Niveau und Stil spiegeln sich in jeder Kleinigkeit wieder. Er hat unser Herz erobert und ich hoffe, ihn bald wieder besuchen zu dürfen. Danke! Da gibt es wirklich nichts!

• Jennifer (10/5): Fantastic and Memorable Stay - Ico's place is a gem. It was clean, bright, comfortable, and had a great view of Mt Versuvius and the bay. The sunset was beautiful from the balcony. Ico provided a very delicious breakfast with fresh pastries and cappuccino/coffee or tea. He had cold bottled water available for us in the refrigerator every day. He was also very helpful with recommending anything you needed. Ico's warmth and kindness make you feel right at home. You can tell he takes pride in taking care of his place and guests. • Massimo (10/5): Un soggiorno davvero bello: struttura in posizione strategica e colazione ottima - Abbiamo soggiornato in questo B&B durante la nostra visita a Napoli e l’esperienza è stata davvero bellissima. La posizione è ottima: perfetta per visitare la città, molto comoda sia al centro che alla fermata della metro, il che permette di spostarsi facilmente ovunque. La colazione è stata eccellente, preparata e servita personalmente dal simpaticissimo Ico, sempre disponibile e attento agli ospiti. La sua cordialità rende il soggiorno ancora più piacevole. Un’esperienza davvero positiva che consigliamo sicuramente a chi vuole scoprire Napoli con comodità e sentirsi accolto con grande ospitalità.

Die Zimmer sind sehr gut ausgestattet mit traumhaftem Blick auf den Vesuv und den Hafen sowie mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet, eben die Wohnung eines Künstlers. Ico ist ein toller Mensch und ein wunderbarer Gastgeber. Besonders genossen haben wir morgens dass leckere napoletanische Frühstück und das gemütliche Zusammensein in seiner Küche mit interessanten Gesprächen und vielen wertvollen Tipps, um die schönsten und interessantesten Sehenswürdigkeiten in und um Neapel zu sehen. Er ist sehr gut in Neapel vernetzt und hat seine Lieblingsrestaurants für uns reserviert, in denen wir immer sehr herzlich als Icos Freunde aufgenommen und köstlich bewirtet wurden. Ein Highlight war auch eine geführte Tour mit ihm durch Pompeji, für die er sich sehr viel Zeit genommen und uns auch noch mit einem Picknick verwöhnt hat. Grazie mille Ico per la tua amicizia e per questa settimana meravigliosa.
• RUSTAM (10/5): Great week in Naples - My wife and I spent a wonderful week here, that was really exceptional! The room is beautiful and the view from the balcony was above all our expectations. But the host, Ico, is really a host you can dream about - he is very nice and helpful, the breakfast he serves is really great. I would recommend listening to his advices and guidance about Naples and surrounding, it will help a lot. The location is also excellent, most of the places are in walking distance. If (or when) we will visit Naples again, there will be no hard choice where to stay for us. Highly recommend! Absolutely nothing

• Čeru (10/5): - The stay in this accommodation was absolutely wonderful. The rooms are beautifully furnished with all the details to make you feel really special. The view from the terrace of Vesuvius and the main street and the marina has a very special charm, where you can feel the vibe and energy of Naples, just as it is, in the mornings and evenings. The bed and pillows are very comfortable, and the small artistic details give the rooms warmth, homeliness and sophisticated athmosfere. Ico will give you thenbest recommendations for the best restaurants with authentic and delicious food, which is difficult to find in the flood of tourism. Mornings and breakfasts with Ico were also special, as he makes coffee, serves a typical Italian breakfast and drinks coffee with you. He shares his openness, warmth and sincerity with you. It was nice for me to meet the other guests at breakfast, Ico makes sure that the gatherings are really nice. If you want an authentic and homely experience, this accommodation is the best choice. I travel, but this was one of the most beautiful experiences. Thank you Ico for allowing me to truly experience Naples with your help and guidance. • Frank Ruhöfer (10/5): Ico, der Vesuv & Pompei, einige Restaurants in Neapel sind eine Reise Wert. Amalfi & Positano nicht. - Wir wurden von dem Besitzer Ico empfangen und alles war gut. Ein toller Gastgeber, der in allen Belangen und Fragen unterstützt. Ico hat uns tolles Restaurants empfohlen. Ein Rollladen im Schlafzimmer funktionierte plötzlich nicht mehr und es war am Abend wieder repariert. Die Unterkunft ist mit Liebe eingerichtet und einfach gehalten, aber sauber und Top in Schuss. Toller Ausblick über den Hafen von Neapel vom 9. Stock. Das Frühstück ist einfach, aber lecker. Die Parksituation ist dort schwierig. Es wurden uns 2 Parkhäuser von Ico empfohlen, die jedoch voll waren. An der Straße parken ist nicht empfehlenswert. Überall lagen Glassplitter von eingeschlagenen Autofenstern. Wir haben um die Ecke bei Parcheggio Bovio notgedrungen geparkt. War mit 40€ pro Tag teurer, jedoch dafür überwacht. Auch wenn teuer und zunächst nicht vertrauenswürdig erscheint, würden wir dort wieder parken. Neapel ist eine interessante, jedoch leider sehr schmutzige Stadt. Vorsicht Taschendiebe. Rucksäcke auf jeden Fall vorne tragen.
• jennah (10/5): - Our stay here was truly special from the moment we arrived, Ico made us feel so incredibly welcome and went above & beyond with his thoughtful advice, kindness and warmth. The room was clean, the air con worked very well, nice heated shower, fresh towels and toiletries whenever we needed them and always cold water in the fridge/ice in the freezer. We especially loved the breakfast in the morning which Ico kindly provided fresh pastries and made us the best coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice. We were two girls in their twenties travelling, and felt so safe at ICHOME Napoli and all of Ico’s recommendations allowed us to really take in the culture. We are so grateful to Ico for making the stay so fantastic and truly memorable forever. We will always remember it with full hearts and will be recommending Ico’s B&B very highly, THANK YOU ICO!!! You really have thought of every single detail which made our stay so fantastic 😊

• Brian (9/5): Excellent apartment, good location. - The property is run by an artist and writer and is decorated to a high spec with his own artwork. The rooms are comfortable with a balcony overlooking the port towards Vesuvius. The only slight issue is that although the apartment is on the ninth floor, traffic from the busy road that runs by the port can be noisy.

• Graham (10/5): Wonderful stay with Ico - Ico is a wonderfully attentive host who clearly takes pride in making his guests feel most welcome. He is an archaeologist, an artist, and a photographer and has a great knowledge of the whole region. Breakfast is fun as you meet other guests in the kitchen area for breakfast. All Ico’s restaurant recommendations were really good. He has a lot of connections in the city. (The pizzeria he recommended even gave us a glass of free prosecco just because Ico sent us 😀) We had the room at the front of the property facing the port so had a great view across the bay to Capri, Sorrento, Pompeii, and Vesuvius. By the way, the national museum of Napoli is amazing. Thank you Ico. We loved Ico and the property, but travellers to Naples should be aware that Naples is a city of contrasts. There is the wonderful history, the higher class areas, but - like all big cities - travellers should be prepared to see some very run down areas too.

Ico the host was very kind and helpful. We received many recommendations for pur trips that saved us many headaches and money. There are 3 rooms in the appartment, so you meet other people as well. We knew it before and it is okay to share and meet new people. But if you want 100% privacy be aware, you will meet other people.

Breakfast prepared by the Host was excellent. Coffee an dwater from the house. Excellent coffee and fantastic home made Brioche. The view from the 9th floor balcony on the Napoli golf and Vesuvius is great! Super clean both the room and the bathroom. Location is 10 minutes walking distance from the Historical center, 10 minutes walking from Spanish Quartier and main shopping shopping street, 5 min distance from Marina beach, and 20 minutes walking from the Central Train Stations. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Vivant atmosphere. We feel safe in all the visited areas at any time of the day and night. Special thanks to our Host for being our guide (in English) to Pompeii, as he is an experienced archaeologist. The experience was above expectations. 1. Not that I did not like but guests needs to know that the room + individual bathroom is located in a big apartment together with another independent rooms therefore you will share the kitchen and the dinning area. Thinking for families with little kids would not be too much room to run and play, except the room itself. 2. Have enough 10 cents coins to use the elevator up and down, otherwise you'll become fit quickly :)

Comfortable bed with beautiful cotton bed linen. Lots of towels. Beautiful breakfast made by Ico with breads, artisan jams and honeys, eggs if you’d like. Ico is there at breakfast but leaves you to enjoy his home after that. He is a wonderful, knowledgeable and passionate host. He loves Naples and is keen to ensure you leave with a true flavour of the city’s sights sounds and tastes. Everything has been thought of to make your stay a home from home.

The rooms are beautiful, spacious, and clean with incredible balconies and views. Bonus: the space is filled with his artwork. He couldn’t have been a more caring host, making breakfast each morning and chatting. He also provided many recommendations and helped arrange a taxi for me on my last morning. • Martin (10/5): warm,friendly,entertaining,very italian,just marvellous. - flat was furnished in a Neopolitan manner (quirky) a bit like the host(a compliment), who made the start of our holiday a wonderful experience, from having all guests around the same table max 6 (due to space), resulting in a relaxed convivial atmosphere while being attended to from a warm and hospitable host, his knowledge of the area was in-depth and his bonhomie and love of wishing to keep guests entertained, especially in his breakfast/kitchen area we were more akin to having an italiano mama looking after our every needs, he also invited us to try local delicacies and made a mean frothy cappuccino, nothing was too much trouble, what a lovely gent and charming star. ***** Alla Prossima! Ico being high up (9th floor) there is no windbreak to stop your drink glasses from being blown off the balcony between gentle glugs)) then having to leave our wonderful host after only 3 days. :>(
• Steven (9/5): Napoli is a lively City of contrasts, and Ico’s home is an oasis of reality and chat. - Ico is a wonderful host, with a definite style of home and welcome. His breakfasts are long and rambling, fresh, varied and very tasty, His contacts for dinner reservations are top drawer, and his local knowledge and recommendations are very helpful. Location wise you are easy to get to, and in a quiet block, but also very close to the main buzzy quarter of Napoli, and not far from the elegant seafront walkway too. If you are looking for a corporate, soulless B&B…this isn’t it. The bathroom isn’t huge, so if you’re big yourself, or wanting a big long bath…you’re not going to get it. This a real Italian / Napoli City home, and that’s just what it is.
• Dragan (10/5): Really unique! The apartment is great, the rooms are so special, Ico is from far the best host ever - Ico is an incredible host! His attention to the details made us feel so special! We had breakfast together and i really felt like i was living in a italian family. I really recommend this experience:) Everything was perfect.

From suggesting sights to see and places to eat and even making the reservations for us made our stay so much more enjoyable, we ate so well every night. • Richard (10/5): This is the place to stay to experience the real Naples - Wonderful B&B located centrally with sweeping views of Naples port and Mount Vesuvius from the outside balcony. The rooms are tastefully furnished with ensuite bathroom. The host is the Naples writer and photographer Ico Gasparri and he does summersalts to make your visit special. Local restaurants are booked and he provides insightful recommendations of things to do and see that you won't find in any guidebook. Breakfast is fresh bread, pastries and coffee - a great way to start the day. We had a hugely enjoyable stay and were able to see the real Naples - thanks to Ico. Highly recommended. Nothing.
• Farzana (9/5): Memorable place to stay in Naples - Warm, hospitable, sweet and kind host. Ico was thoughtful and generous, making local recommendations even before my arrival, and while I was there. He was attentive to my breakfast needs. The view was wonderful from my room and balcony. The room was light and airy and I adored the huge windows, quaint furniture and calming decor. Likewise the artworks within the shared spaces were thought-provoking and intriguing. The books and leaflets about local culture and things to see were a welcome touch. Very easy location to get to and from lots of sights including the ferries, as they are only a short walk if you are mobile. There wasn't anything I didn't like. I would recommend staying here and would return.
• Nora (10/5): Confortable clean room. Excellent Location! - I really enjoyed my stay here.It was a nice clean ,comfortable room. It had a small balcony with a seating area where you can enjoy nice views . Located on the 9th floor. Walking distance to the Historic Center. What I like the most was that it is also walking distance to the port. You can take a ferry to any other tourist attractions. Amalfi Coast, Capri, Positano. The owner manages the property. He is an excellent host. Serves daily continental breakfast. Delicious Italian pastries, cappuccinos . Just what is needed to start your day. He is a very helpful, he has maps and books to help you get around. He will also give good sightseeing , dining recommendations. Overall I highly recommend this place. I would definitely stay here again, when I decide to return to Naples. There’s a lot to see and do. I really enjoyed my stay here. It was a confortable room. It met my expectations. Keep in mind that if you like to spend more time in the room there is no TV . How ever it didn’t bother me . I like to spend all my time enjoying the city.

• Kathryn (10/5): Ico's Maison d'Artiste is a wonderful place to stay in Napoli port, with a kind and generous host. - First, Ico is the greatest host in Napoli. You are so lucky to make his acquaintance, hear his stories over one of his delicious slow breakfasts, and follow his suggestions about anything you'd like to do or see in Naples. Second, I loved staying in this part of the city, near the port, very central, very bustling, interesting neighborhood. And Ico's Maison d'Artiste (HE is the artiste in so many ways) is welcoming, with so many lovely details he attends to personally, comfortable room and bath. And those breakfasts! literally we cannot think of a thing! Except that we had to leave but we will return!

• Luisa (10/5): Ico is a very gracious host and responded quickly. The room was very charming and breakfast was delicious. - It was very clean, comfortable and close to city center. Nothing-it was all good.
• Shari (10/5): Ichome B & B was AMAZING!! - Ico (the host) was AMAZING!! There is nothing he wouldn't do for his guests. Breakfast was delicious. Room was excellent with a nice view of the Sea. Artfully decorated with many of Ico's works and wonderful antiques though out of his family heirlooms. Very loud road noise from the balcony as you look out to the sea, but to us it was worth it!!
