• Joshua (1/5): Kein Zugang zur Unterkunft möglich - Ich muss vor dieser Unterkunft warnen: Ich habe aus der Schlüsselbox einen Schlüssel erhalten, der überhaupt nicht in die Haustür passte und vermutlich der Schlüssel für die Wohnung war. Es war bereits abends und über die hinterlegte Telefonnummer war nur die Mailbox zu erreichen. Ich habe daher noch kurzfristig ein anderes Hotel gebucht, da ich Sorge hatte, auf der Strasse stehen zu bleiben. Leider reagiert nun auch niemand über den Chat mit der Unterkunft, um die Rückerstattung abzuwickeln - von der Differenz, die ich für das nun teurere Hotel ausgeben musste, rede ich da noch gar nicht. Das ist in meinen Augen ein totales No-Go diese Unterkunft.

• Miguel (4/5): At least it was clean - Clean - Chaotic management of the property, including handling of the keys and access codes and Basel Card. Non-working wifi. Messages go unanswered. - How to turn on the cooking stove is a mystery, apparently even to the management - The room was just poorly thought out: facing the street with no curtains, only blinds that don't fully close out (so you'll have car lights as they pass when you try to go to sleep), the main light source is a flickering fluorescent light...

• Laurentiu Georgian (8/5): - It was clean and in good location. Plenty of blue zone parking places around There was a strong smell of tabaco in the building entrance and inside the apartment hallway (not in the room though) The shared bathroom thing was a weird experience for me

• Emilie (10/5): Really nice place to stay when you are in Basel - It was super easy to find and to get the key for self check-in. The room was bright and nicely decorated. The bathroom was clean and nice. Only negative thing to say is that it was hard to find a fork in the kitchen. Don’t know if some of the other guest have misplaced them.

• Albrecht (7/5): Für eine Übernachtung ohne viel Schnickschnack gut - Das Zimmer ist sehr nahe beim Bahnhof. Es ist gut zu Fuss erreichbar. Das Bad erfüllt die Bedürfnisse. Es ist hellhörig, Nachbarn schwatzen, Duschen mitten in der Nacht, sensibler Lichtsensor, laute Strasse, zu weiche Matratze und Kissen.
• Dalma (1/5): - Este értem oda, az ablak nyitva volt, ki volt hűtve az egész szoba, pulóverben és farmerben aludtam a takaró alatt. Ez a figyelmetlenség elég volt arra, hogy ne tudjam élvezni az ott töltött éjszakát.

• Mihaela (8/5): I would not recommend it to a solo female traveler - The room itself was clean, with natural light, the heat was on, comfy bed. They've provided 3 towels, the kitchen is equipped with everything you need, the bathroom was clean, no unpleasant smell. Excellent wifi connection which is useful as you are in Swiss, which is not in the EU. All the furniture is new and clean, and the overall looks like a home, not a booking space. It's in 15-20 minutes of walking distance from the main train station. The surrounding area looked safe, with spring flowers, and felt like a friendly neighborhood. Several Coop shops on the main street are open until 10.00 pm. I've communicated with the owner via booking messenger, check-in and check-out were easy, with a digital code that provided the key in the box. I was able to check in early. I did not feel safe inside the shared area of the property. The room is on the ground floor together with 3 other rooms. The problem is that on the hall that goes towards the kitchen and bathroom, there is an unlocked door on the right that communicates with the stairs to the basement. From the basement, 2 men were repeatedly coming up to use the bathroom on the ground floor. One of them was almost naked, partially covered with a towel when he left the booking bathroom. By night they were noisy, with rude behavior. This guy was checking the mailbox in front of the building with his trousers opened just on my 1st day of arriving. By then I did now know he was the one from downstairs. When I was using the bathroom on the 2nd night, they tried to door of the bathroom which was looked inside. It was obvious I was inside, as the water was running. On the 2nd night, at 4:00 AM, less than 5 minutes after my alarm sounded, because I had to check out at 05:00 AM, I had my plane early in the morning, I heard the guy coming up the stairs, and he was using FaceTime on speaker. It took him like 20 minutes to take a shower at that hour. He was using the 2nd bathroom this time. I don't know who he was, I was afraid to discuss this via booking messenger, I just wanted to be safe and away from this place. I would not recommend it to a solo female traveler and it made me reconsider this type of booking in the future. Keep in mind that there is a double access to the basement: - one from the booking area through a door that was always opened and unlocked, even if I closed sever times, - the other one from the outside of the booking area, which is also unlocked, anybody can enter from the block ladder if they have access inside the building which is an apartment block with 6 floors.
