• Craig (6/5): The apartment served our needs. We would not stay here again however due to location. - We liked the price to stay here & that the apartment offered a washing machine & carpark. We did not like that the apartment had such a cold feel. We also struggled with the street noise which is based on location not the apartment.
• ErinL83 (4/5): The Good, The Bad & The Ugly - The Good: The apartment is very large and spacious, with plenty of room to move around. The beds (1 double and 2 singles) and pillows were extremely comfortable, which made for a good night’s sleep. The location worked well for Sydney Olympic Park, especially as we had our own vehicle and could easily drive in and out each day. The Bad: Unfortunately, the property is quite poorly maintained. Several plates and kitchen items were chipped or damaged. There is no air conditioning, only fans, which made it uncomfortable at times. The floors feel hollow and the apartment noticeably shakes, possibly due to a nearby train line or structural issue. One of the showers in the smaller bathroom, has a broken shower head, which was disappointing. Communication with the owner was disappointing. On arrival, we received a message asking us to enjoy our stay and to “please leave the room in pristine condition.” However, the apartment was not in pristine condition when we arrived, so it was unclear what exactly was expected. We also raised a query about a broken item during our stay, but did not receive a response. Basic amenities were lacking. There were no pegs, no dryer, and we had to use an old, unstable clothes horse we found. There was no dishwasher tablets, and no dishwashing supplies such as liquid or a drying towel provided. There is only 1 couch in the living room, not 2 as per the photo. The Ugly: The washing machine was broken and leaked. Our clothes became stuck inside, and without any response from the owner, we had to spend hours figuring out how to manually release the latch. One of the showers leaks badly regardless of how carefully the door is closed. There are multiple broken door handles throughout the apartment, making it difficult or impossible to properly close bedroom doors. Most concerning, there is visible mould throughout the bathrooms and windows, and the property overall is in need of a deep and thorough clean. Overall: While the size and location are positives, the lack of maintenance, poor communication, and cleanliness issues significantly impacted our stay. This property has potential but requires urgent attention and upkeep.

Cleaner still cleaning , after 3pm check in time. Brown stained doonas on single . Dirty coffee mugs & bowls in cupboard in kitchen, we had to wash before use after buying cleaning cloths & tea towels . No wine glasses. Loaded washing machine of dirty linen . Machine broken , so linen wet & smelling . Fans filthy & noisy , so couldn’t use them . No tea, coffee, sugar , basic kitchen supplies anywhere else . Also found jocks & Sox over railing outside back door

The bed have bugs, both bathrooms have mould on the ceiling and bugs on the ceiling, the who - The bed bugs, the mould on the ceiling, the floor rattling everytime you walked, the front door rattling everytime you walked, our “guaranteed” parking spot being taken by another guest, the property management team not responding to any messages or phone calls, booking.com not responding within the timeframe they provided. They said there is writing on the floor near the mail box for your designated parking spot, but there is no signage anywhere. Even if there were no cars taking your spot, the carpark is really hard to access due to the main road and high curb.

There was enough beds for our family. 1. The heaters provided did not warm up the space. 2. Toaster did not work 3. The kitchen did not have many utensils eg. Tongs and baking tray for oven. If you plan on cooking meals and spend more time in the kitchen, this is not ideal. 4. A lot of condensation in the bathroom so the floors would always stay wet. 5. The property never once responded to my messages or calls. The only message sent was at the sent with entry details. 6. The portable clothes rack was falling apart- we had to hold one end of the rack onto a bench to keep the rack up.

• Matthew (1/5): Disappointing - Lovely restaurant across the road (friendly and amazing food). First impressions were awful seeing rat traps at the entrance. Then it continued going down hill seeing dead flies in the showers, a cockroach in the living room, air vent broken in one of the bedrooms (big enough for a rat), difficult getting into the accommodation, tried to call the owner when I couldn't get in at night but no answer, 60 dollars for taxi to get to Sydney Opera House area.

• Abbey (1/5): Wouldn’t tell my worst enemy to stay here, if I could rate it a 0 or negative numbers I would - Nothing, if I could rate this place a 0 I would When we arrived, there were people out the front smoking and they didn’t look like the best bunch, the wire door was broken and they could have easily accessed the keypad which the code was very easy to guess and I’m sure if these people watched us put it in they could have gotten in at ANY time. The facilities were dirty, there was mould all through both bathrooms and the doors. Furniture was disgusting. Fruit flies in kitchen, no cleaning supplies or kitchen dishes supplies. Called the accom manager to report that we didn’t feel safe and that the accomodation wasn’t serviced and they didn’t answer, requested a full refund as the property didn’t present as advertised and they never got in touch to call us back. Would NEVER ever stay here and wouldn’t recommend my worst enemy to sleep here, save your money

The renovations that were done were good. they need to go all the way with renovations, air conditioning SHOULD BE a must. A bedroom door had no handle. A air cooler was very noisy, not enough power points, I rang to complain that I had nowhere to park my car due to our park being taken by another guest. If the guest who parked in my car space wasn't at home or uncooperative I would not have been able to park my car at the residence. It is very difficult to park, there is only one driveway to four car spaces right up against the road and footpath which is dangerous because you have to rev to get your car up and over the gutter. When I rang back the owner/person to solve issues nobody answered.

• Elena (2/5): Very very happy the booking was only for one night! - Liked very little about this place to ever return - the beds were reasonably comfortable, the wifi worked and the location was convenient to where we needed to be. Almost everything - the renovation looks good in the pictures, but the reality is that minimal was done to hide the poor condition of the building and furnishings - not only were door handles and locks missing, there were no extension cords provided for (extremely dirty and dusty) floor fans provided (no air con), no batteries in the remote control which wasn't a problem after all cause the TV did not work. The kitchen area was infested with black bugs, the bedrooms had crawling and flying insects and the bathrooms had patches of mould in easy-to-clean places. The water pressure didn't exist for showers, and the parking bays were difficult to get in and out of.

One more fan provided upon request but it didn't work. Because of not enough electrical plugs. Thereafter, owner didn’t respond anything.

Both the bathrooms had no locks. Same goes with the both bedrooms. The place looks refurbished on the photos but in reality it was different resembling a third world accommodation.

House unsafe, when arrived left unsecured and door doesn’t lock. All bowls and knife’s forks full of dirt, and mould/rust. Could barely breath inside with the smell. The mould and dirt was disgusting.

Nice little cozy home, we are a family of five and stayed there comfortably for two nights in such a cheap price as compare to similar accomodations. The house was immaculately clean and kitchen was well equipped with all utensils. Parking for Unit1 is bit tricky but if you have a big car and drive straight up the kerb to park from main road you are fine. Very impressed with the management communication. Highly recommended!

• Connor (4/5): Cold and disappointing. - The beds were extremely soft, and the apartment was neat and looked nice inside. The apartment had no aircon so the building was freezing. The hot water system was shared through the four apartments so there wasn’t enough hot water to shower if you chose to shower later than 9pm. Parking was essentially non existent; there was a strip of space in front of the building where you could theoretically park, however it is used by four cars and is difficult to access if one car is already parked as the driveway is narrow.

• Alyssa (8/5): It was great, accommodating and comfy! - Location was great and central to everything. The bedrooms were good, and the unit accommodated everything that we needed. We had heaters in the bedrooms which was super helpful, especially because I had my young children traveling with me. We found the bathrooms to be modern, and the house was clean upon arrival. Because the unit is on a main road we felt safe with having the bars on the windows as well. Would happily stay there again. After reading a few of the reviews we made the call to bring our own sheets and pillows for bedding. After arriving and checking the beds I am glad we did, as the sheets either had not been washed or are just badly stained. I would recommend having new sheets placed in the unit to make people feel more comfortable about sleeping in the beds. Other than this, we have no complaints about the place!

No communication from management regarding all complaints above. - The location was exceptionally placed and very convenient to stay as it was close to most of our destinations while in Sydney. There were too many problems. The following message was sent via booking.com platform but no response received despite a 24 hr response time frame being mentioned on the message: Too many problems here: No towels in facility. No shower gels No basic pantry supplies - tea, coffee, milk etc. Fridge and cupboards dirty- bathroom cupboard had hair on it, clearly not cleaned. Oven had been sprayed with oven cleaner and left. I had to clean the oven before we could use. No oven tray or baking tray for use. Dishes were in cupboards but wet with water. NO DISHWASHER TABLETS OR LIQUID, So we handwashed all the dishes but we found a VERY DIRTY dish rack and couldn't dry dishes on it. Dish washer was not working.

• Doreen (10/5): Unprofessional Dealings - Facility was very beautiful and good. Very good location. I didn't like the staff she was very rude and not trusting us. She was asking for extra money from us. I came from Nz travelling and tired, I preferred easy transaction. She wanted us to pay three times the amount price of motel. She got frustrated and crying begging for money. We said to her its okay we dont want apartment, She stated you still will be charged and threatning us. It was not even 10 am checkout time she send people before check out saying they were cleaners and asking for money. We saw they were not cleaners they came with bag full of clothes and things to stay there. On our stay she started to call around 9 pm asking for more money. I said my friend is not here he took my card. She is fighting and said you guys can stay for free. We paid our money i dont know why she was demanding more. She was also accusing we will take her keys. Why would we do that. I stayed in many motels, i travel alot but never had such a bad experience. Location was good but we stayed whole night in stress. Very unprofessional dealing. .

• Leanne (2/5): Disappointing, disgusting, unprofessional - Stylish, they did try to decorate We messaged the property regarding the bed for the 5th person not being made, we never got a reply even though in the email before we arrived they stated “we will be quick to reply”. The house was dirty. Hairs everywhere, a piece of popcorn on the floor near the fridge, drawing on the paintings and walls, mould in our bathroom and on the blinds. The house smelt, the parking was extremely difficult and the spot was not labeled like they said. We also picked up the mattress when we attempted to make the pull out couch ourselves and the mattress had stains on both sides, the base of three pull out couch has crap on it, no spare sheets to be found so our 5th guest, who we HAD booked for slept on the other couch with no blanket.

Few problems like the bathroom didn’t have proper drainage so it was coming outside and we had to use the other bathroom for showers.Only one hand-wash provided with nothing in there.The utensils were still wet in the cabinet.The cabinet in the master bathroom had water inside.The pull out sofa mattresses was really dirty.

We spots lots of Mould in Bathroom and Rooms and other place. Also weird smell were coming through whole house. We only used it for sleeping purposes. After all property staff was very helpful. • Natarima (8/5): Overall our stay there was very nice - We love this apartment because its close to our relatives house, we can see each others quite often. The plus, its on the first floor, so you dont have to worry about the stairs, one of my relative there use a wheelchair, so its very easy access for someone in a special need case. Its close to burwood station so we can go often too to the central area. They have a parking spot which is good if our relatives who wanna come over and spend time for dinner with us. We wanna say thank you to the lady that clean the apartment next door, she was so nice to us she even gave us 2 bottles of beers because she heard we sang a birthday song. We actually had a birthday lunch for my niece. 😊 after almost 5 years we didnt see our family who live in sydney, we are very much please that we choose to stay here . Maybe next time when we visit sydney again, we will choose this apartment ☺️ Maybe for some people it will be a bit noisy cause its really close to a main street. But for us its fine cause we always come back around 9 and already tired. And there was one insect at the second bathroom quite shocking, probably because its on the first floor, but they provide us with insects spray .

• Rebecca (7/5): Great location but needed a good clean - The location was great and perfect size When arriving the lady who was cleaning said it wasn’t ready. This was after our agreed arrival time. We were happy to go for a walk and come back after dropping our bags inside. When returning she was still complaining about the previous visitors and how it was smeared with chocolate all over. She was walking around wiping the floor in spots. About 430 she had “finished” Right away we could see if hadn’t really been cleaned properly. The floors still had bits and when moving one of the fans in the lounge we could see food and dirt behind. The couches were okay but a little stained on both and the dining room chairs were filthy, we couldn’t even sit at the table. Like the lady said, chocolate was everywhere. Under one of the couches there was also mess and something smudged onto the floor. The main bathroom (not ensuite) smelt like urine, we assumed maybe just old and smelly. Late the next day we noticed a sticky dry patch on the floor around the base of the toilet where it was quite obvious someone had missed and it wasn’t cleaned properly. We also noticed the kitchen cupboards and crockery/shelves weren’t clean, sticky and left over open food items in one cupboard. Very disappointing in the cleanliness
• Charlotte (3/5): Poor - The price The place is really dirty, everywhere needs a deep cleaning. The bedding was stained ,the towels are awful (take your own). It really was not ok, we did however expect this due to the previous reviews. I really don't know why they don't just clean it properly and get new bedding/towels/blinds etc.... there is hardly anything to cook with, they don't provide a tea towel. The sponge they had left was disgusting! We bought air freshener as everywhere smells funny. The price is the only reason why you would want to stay there, the location is quite far out of Sydney.

• Thomas (7/5): Nice but needs some maintenance - The apartment was nicely decorated and comfortable. The bed was comfortable Although the apartment was clean, there was a smell throughout the place, the master bed bathroom had a strong mildew smell and there were a lot of little black bugs in the shower. There was also a big black mark up the top of the shower corner and the bugs seemed to like that spot after I tried to hose them with the handheld shower but it was a bit broken with water leaking out of the hose so didn’t have enough pressure to squirt the bugs. Also the master bedroom blind, when I lowered it was filthy! Very off putting. These are minor things but the owner needs to be aware so they can fix them.

• Olive (8/5): Just fine. - Got enough space for us to stay. Can easily contact the owner for quarries. Too noisy even at night.
• Terry (7/5): Good - Good location and recently refurbished Shower was not clean and parking for unit 1 was not easy and required driver to go onto the footpath to enter and exit
• Kaisar (7/5): 1/2 day stay is fine. But parking is an issue for UNIT 1, specially driveway which need to be constructed. - Location and amenities. IGA and BP is 2 min walk. Westfield Burwood is 5-min drive. Parking and driveway. Very risky to manoeuvre off to busy Liverpool Rd, driveway was always (24hr) blocked by a white microbus! Tv didn’t work at all, not antenna cable, no WiFi connection to the TV ( called the property management but no response)
• Alex (8/5): Great place to stay for short or long terms - It was a nice beautifully redone place nice bathrooms The kitchen was very bare no trays not many utensils
