Guest Reviews
- Melanie (10/5): -
- Bondy006 (8/5): Beautifully presented cottage in a prime location with all the comforts of home. - Beautifully presented property with everything we needed. Appreciated the complimentary wine and chocolate. Location was perfect to walk to the shops, cinema and the river walk. The cats were very cute, although one was a bit more shy than the other. We saw there was cat food in the pantry but we weren't sure if the cats belonged to the house or were just visitors from next door, so we thought we had better not feed them. We were very glad that the heater was on when we arrived, but we found that during our stay it was a bit cold in the house. Perhaps the heating doesn't quite cope on a cold day. Only a very minor comment.
- Rowan (9/5): - Everything was very clean and comfortable.
Walking distance to the river and town centre. There was a bit of street noise, but we are used to no traffic.
- Denis (9/5): Overall, great value for a high quality stay - This is a superb 2-bedroom house that has been very tastefully renovated to provide a great fusion between the original more traditional style and modern updates in the bathrooms, kitchen and furnishings. The bed was very comfortable and the linens and towels were top quality. Great large screen TV with comfortable sofas to view from or just sit and relax. Plenty of space in the living area too. Great appliances and good range of condiments in the kitchen. The bottle of wine and bar of chocolate provided by the host were a nice touch. And previous hirers had left some ice cream in the frig too! The proximity to the centre of town and the river front (2 - 3 minutes drive in both cases) was great, but free house is on the corner of a street that has a goid amount of traffic during the day which reduces to not much at night but a few cars can be heard again early on the morning, which might wake up light sleepers. It didn't bother me as much on our second night, though. Otherwise, everything was good.
- Kristen (9/5): Perfect location with all we needed for a weekend away visiting family. - Lots of charm and character
- Glenn (10/5): Location, close to everything - The location, handy to everything, good to be able to take our dog. Nothing.
- Josephine (10/5): - Very relaxing and cosy No lawn area when you have a dog with you for them to go to toilet
- Natalie (9/5): Our stay was lovely we enjoyed this gorgeous property. - We loved everything about the property, it was comfortable, clean, the property had beautiful linen, towels, crockery and was beautifully decorated. We loved all the little things too, the property was fully stocked with cleaning supplies, tea, coffee and milk and loads of other things too. They even had 2 dog bowls, as the property was pet friendly. We loved our stay, we will be back for sure. Every thing was perfect, the only thing I would add is one more towel hook in the ensuite for the hand towel and the ensuite door was a little hard to open and close, everything else was perfect.
- Tina (10/5): Charming and comfortable -
- Smith (9/5): - Delightful cottage in Mildura. 4 of us for 2 nights thoroughly enjoyed our stay
Spotless, attractive, and close to all Mildura has to offer. Would stay again with pleasure Only thing i felt uncomfortable about was looling at TV from sideways position
- tai shi (7/5): In overall, that’s a good accomodation I would recommend friends to book. Thank you Pam. - Close to CBD Furniture covered in dust, but understandable because mildura is dusty.
- Jay (9/5): - Location was good.
- Lincoln (10/5): - The best accommodation
- Matthew (9/5): Happy to stay at the house again. - The beds were very comfortable. Very clean, and a nice touch with a bottle of wine and chocolate to enjoy.
- Scott (8/5): - Heater and lights were on when we got there. Shower head in ensuite too big not enough pressure
- Lyn (9/5): Beautiful, restful spot to spend a weekend - Beautifully furnished. Very comfortable beds.
Location was great - pretty quiet at night but easy walking distance to some great cafes for breakfast.
Well set up indoors and outdoors; easy parking. Water pressure in the showers was appalling and needs to be fixed (worst place we have ever stayed).
Not the place to stay if you don't like cats - there were a couple that came to visit on the front porch each night and were difficult to move on (especially as they wanted to come inside).
- Phillip (9/5): Great. - Convenient, comfortable. Nothing.
- Linda (10/5): Immaculate haven on the Murray River - Beautiful property, immaculately clean, central location (walk to river, pub, CBDbut still on quiet street), very pet-friendly (not just dogs allowed, but digs treated like VIP guests). Decor was beautiful: high end appliances, flowing lines, soft linens. Absolute heaven. (Loved the shampoo and conditioner: my long, wavy hair was soft, clean and fragrant.) We cannot wait for our next visit. Nothing. Best overnight stay I have ever had.
- HENRI (10/5): - Beautifully presented, the host has artistic flair, complementary to them. Beautifully clean.
- John (10/5): Very comfortable, great location, easy to find, clean and host is very caring. - Great location, easy to keep clean, was well looked after, Host was pleasant and I especially liked the gardens.
- Kathryn (9/5): - Very well equipped kitchen, excellent location, beautifully presented. Welcoming, neat & tidy, with great toiletries provided. Beds were a little firm, a mattress topper could help with the comfort. TV reception for local stations were poor, need to rely on streaming services for viewing.
- Meredith (10/5): Gorgeous little cottage with luxury decor - Delightful cottage, beautifully appointed, lovely artworks. Thoughtful host. Nothing - wish we could have stayed longer
- Justin (9/5): - Great location. Very clean
- Darren (10/5): -
- Paul (10/5): We had a wonderful time and found the accommodation exceptional. - The location is excellent only a short walk to the centre of town. It was also a pleasant surprise to be welcomed with chocolate and wine. Nothing to complain about
- Lesleigh (10/5): -
- Lynda (9/5): -
- Dennis (10/5): -
- Leah (10/5): Perfect - It was very well presented and positioned - had everything we needed - perfect for pets - couldn’t ask for anything better Nothing - it was all good
- Graeme (10/5): -
- Mark (10/5): -
- Kurt (10/5): Great comfortable cottage - Well presented and very comfortable cottage.
Lots to like and appreciate the detail.
- Gill (10/5): A perfect little getaway location to meet up with friends for a night or two. - Beautifully furnished and appointed. Equipped with everything you could possibly need. The beds were extremely comfortable and the linen and towels were clean and good quality. It is a bit noisy at night as there is a busy road close by.
- Nicola (9/5): It felt like home but better! We will definitely rebook. - Clean. Secure for our pet. It felt generous, comfy and luxurious. (Many other pet friendly places have rules that were not made explicit on booking therefore create conscientious visitors stress.) Loved the aesthetics- beautifully styled and wonderful art. Enjoyed the complimentary wine and reading fabulous Mildura magazines. A few little things: low pressure shower in ensuite, couldn’t get tv to work on local channels (except 9 and SBS), and a sand tray for toilet for dog as only wood chips under back tree for pooping and tricky to pick up.
- Larry (10/5): -
- Leonie (8/5): Great short stay in Mildura. Cannell to restaurants etc - Good location, safe for our dog, lovely facilities.immaculately clean A lot of traffic noise in the morning especially
- Robert and Grace (10/5): This stop was one of our best. Owners have taken great care to add luxury and comfort to our stay. - Warm, inviting and luxuriously appointed.
Dog friendly and gated. Nothing to dislike here
- Peter (8/5): A nicer alternative to a motel or hotel. Very relaxing and pretty quiet being in town. - The heating had been put on by our host which made it very welcoming. A simple, one level layout with all the features you required. Having two bathrooms was very handy. Overall a very short but comfortable stay. We would definitely come again. I think it would be nice to have at least one opening bedroom window. These were all painted shut so couldn’t be opened. The front bedroom’s bathroom slider door kept jamming and wouldn’t slide freely.
- ANNE (10/5): A beautiful, welcoming home where you could easily spend a very happy week or two. - The cleanliness of the house, the decor, all the extra touches provided by the wonderful host……. especially with the heating being on for our arrival on a very cold day. A beautiful welcoming and wonderfully maintained home. We would love to have stayed longer There was absolutely nothing

- Vicki (9/5): A chic gem close to the city and pet friendly - The house is nicely renovated with smart furnishings. The bed was very comfy and the kitchen well equipped. It’s dog friendly and well set up for inside and outside living. Nice touches like a bottle of wine and a few chocolates were included. I highly recommend this house. We visited in July (mid winter) and even with the heating on, it was not super warm. Electric blankets for the beds would have been a nice touch, but then we are old and feel the cold!
- Brenton (9/5): Quaint, comfortable and well appointed - Very modern yet has old world charm, great location.

The host was generous and welcoming with gestures such as flowers in dining room and bedroom, chocolate on the coffee table. There’s wine fruit, butter in the fridge and even bread and jam on kitchen bench. Feels like home! Highly recommended!
