• Lo (9/5): It's a great value for the money, especially given the location. - The size of the apartment is very nice and spacious. The location is good—it's near the main street with a lot of restaurants nearby. The living area is quiet, and there are no bad smells on the pillows or the quilt. It would be great if you could provide a vacuum cleaner so we can do the cleaning ourselves. The deck connected to the balcony is dirty; I used a wet tissue to wipe the floor, which is brown. We ran out of tissue box.

• Annie (10/5): Modern, well lit, spacious and comfortable apartment for families staying in Shinjuku area - A very comfortable, well equipped, modern apartment for families. Plenty of space for our family of four, with a nintendo switch and games for entertainment. The laundry/dryer machine in the apartment was very handy. 7/11 mart and subway train station close by. Peaceful neighbourhood area, with surrounding local dining options.

• Souveniranti (10/5): - Our family of five had a wonderful stay on level one. The accommodation was very pleasant, and we loved the comfortable beds and modern bathroom. The location was fantastic, offering a quiet neighborhood feel with plenty of shops and eateries nearby, yet perfectly close to major hubs like Shinjuku and Shibuya. With trains and the subway just a short walk away, getting around was incredibly easy. We would happily stay again!!

• Yanmei (8/5): - The property has a bigger place and we like there are two separate bedrooms, a small relaxing area and kitchen. Unfortunately the dryer didn’t work at all and we had to air dry the clothes every day. Since there were not enough hangers we had to lay the clothes on the chairs and tables, which was really difficult for us. We tried to communicate with the management but it took days to get back to us and we were about to leave so we just gave up.

The beds were comfortable and it really was nice to have some space. The washer/dryer was handy too. The bathroom wasn't amazing but we would happily stay there again.
• Jason (7/5): Great apartment, great location. Staff need to learn to take responsibility. - The room and facilities were great. Location was great also. Whilst the staff tried to accommodate our issues, at the start they seemed to wipe theirs hands and dis not want to help. Room was supposed to have 2 extra futons. They gave us 2 extra thin foam, not even a small kid would be comfortable. At 1st they were not keen to help, but eventually they did. Second issue was sewage smell coming from toilet shower area. They told me they could not help, and there is nothing they could do. Could not even offer toilet spray or a deodoriser for the toilet to help with the smell. It took me to suggest before they gave some spray. The staff need to take responsibility for the rooms and not leave guests deal with it especially at $600 per night.
• Tabasum (10/5): Highly recommendable, great comfort and pleasant stay. - The house is spacious, well designed and has exactly the needed space for a family. Above all a great atmosphere and a very homely feel to it. Yet with eye for a Japanese touch with low chairs and rice paper doors. The kids absolutely loved it (next to the large TV and Nintendo set;)). To have the opportunity to cook, wash or dine right next to our door was a relief. The airconditioning worked in all rooms and gave the needed breath of fresh air during a sizzling hot month. Luckily for us, the elevator reached to our floor. The owner was so nice to let us leave our luggage sooner than check-in time. Perhaps the only thing is that neighbours can sometimes be heard.
• YU (10/5): - We, a family 5 with 7 & 10 yrs old girls, stayed here for 4 nights. The room was clean; all mentioned amenities were available. The walkable distance to Station made our trip possible. Our flight was at 6PM, we tried to communicate with hotel owner and cleaner to extend us from 10AM to 12AM. After their discussion, we were given the extra 2 hours to stay with no cost. This meant a lot to us. We really appreciated their consideration and generosity! I will recommend this stay in Tokyo!

• Christine (10/5): - Perfect home for family of 5 (4 adults, 1 teenager) for 8 days in central Tokyo. Loved 3 separate bedrooms with solid doors, lounge area, kitchen, bathroom (with high & large shower), all in 1 apartment, still in the Japanese style + washer/dryer & a balcony with clothesline option (we only took 1 x 7kg carry-on each for this Summer holiday) + firm yet comfortable beds in 2 Bedrooms + 3 convenience stores 2 mins walk for easy, nutritious, filling meals + free, already set up Netflix. Not so keen on occasional upstairs neighbours' noise (because apartment was usually so quiet) & Bed 3's futons on timber floor (not Tatami mats) were a little hard. MW Hotel's communication was wonderful! Proactive, responsive, friendly, helpful & perfect English. Our request (via Wotif App Messages section) on Saturday morning for Bed 3's missing blackout curtains resulted in them being in place by Sunday early afternoon! Check in and check out were seamless.

• Larry (8/5): Modern Loft, but fell short - Okay we liked it once we got to it. No elevator access to fourth and fifth floor. That and figuring out the washer dryer with no help Sheet was our major complaints. Wasn’t the most convenient location to eat, shop or navigate transportation. After staying at three other hotels in Tokyo as we kept passing through Japan we’d wish it was in different location. Bathroom was very nice.

• Rhianna (8/5): We enjoyed our short but sweet stay at M/W Hotel! - It felt like a very spacious option for a family of 4 compared to a lot of the hotel room options in Tokyo. They don't provide luggage storage after check out, which is a bit inconvenient if you have an evening flight.

It would have been nice to have someone show us features of the room. We found it quite drafty and cold at night and only discovered the bathroom had a portable heater towards the end of our stay.

• Mikiel (8/5): - The property itself is in a very central neighborhood. It is maybe a 15 minute. Walk away from the main train station. The only issue I have with the property is we were on the fourth floor and the elevator only goes up to the third floor. The steps are very small and narrow and I am a big guy. It is Hard to see the edge of the steps when stepping down and I ended up stepping on one of the more narrow steps falling and breaking my foot. You need to be extra careful when going down the stairs.

It’s not a regular hotel as it has no onsite staff It’s a remote check in process that you have to upload your information, pictures of your passports, etc before you arrive. Then go through the check in process via a tablet sitting in the entryway of the hotel. In addition, check out is 10am and they have no capability or willingness to store your bags for the day if you have a late flight out and want to visit more of the city before you leave

• Jason (8/5): - We stayed in the one bedroom unit. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Location is great in a quiet part of Shinjuku. It is within walking distance to the busy districts and Shinjuku station (15-20 mins walk). The closest station is Shinjuku-gyoemmae (7 min walk). There is a 7-Eleven around the corner and other multiple other convenience stores within a couple minutes walk as well. The unit itself is very well kept and has a modern minimalist style to it. We were five people. Space wasn't really an issue. Note that even though it is the first floor unit, the floor itself is a few steps elevated from street level. So you will still need to carry your bags or stroller up a flight of stairs. Having a little kitchenette and a washing machine with a dryer function was great. Heating comes from two units on either end and they provide coverage for most of the space. However, not the washroom so it can get quite cold, especially late at night and in early mornings. We found check-in and check out very streamlined especially if you do the pre-registration online and have everything ready to go. When checking in simply enter your reservation code and then follow the instructions and video call using the provided iPad unit. Entry to the unit is done by door code so no need to carry a key or a card. The only thing that would have been nice to have would have been more spots to hang things such as towels or jackets. Would stay again!

Really great neighborhood with lots of amazing dining, close to big shopping locations but just far enough away from the main hustle and bustle. Our one complaint is that the shower door leaks. They have instructions to shower facing away from the door but it seems like a quick fix to replace the seal on the door.

The facility is modern and impeccably clean, offering a full range of amenities. Additionally, the inclusion of a washer and dryer in the bathroom adds a significant level of convenience for guests. Elevator was a bit small and will take 2 trips up. 5 people in my family with 3 luggage’s and a stroller.
• Chris (9/5): Superb - Excellent apartment and I would recommend this place to anyone. We were a family of 4 and we would come back in the future. The location was very good and easily accessible. Check in was easy and staff were always ready to answer any questions we had.
• Kate (6/5): Good clean accommodation for a few nights. - Location is good in a quiet street. Property is clean and well decorated. Washing detergents were included which was a nice touch. This property is advertised as a hotel, however, is more like a commercial Air BnB. There is no face to face interaction or service, everything is done over email/digitally. I think their lack of service really lets them down.

Since I had registered in advance, the check-in process was very smooth. The room was spacious, and both the kitchen and bathroom were clean, it was really comfortable stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable and easy to sleep on. I would love to stay here again!

• Wesley (5/5): Misleading, not a Hotel, challenging access, space smaller than portrayed. - It is false advertising it is not a hotel. There are very steep stairs upon entry, a tiny area where three people can squeeze in to checkin via an ipad with someone offshore. We were told to go to the 4th floor by the person managing reception was polite and when we told them there was no 4th floor button in lift they were as surprised as us. Shot on the booking and name makes it look like it's a hotel with a roof top area. Reality its an unmanned apartment building, and our room had a small untidy balcony, with construction going on right across the street of which there was no mention.Bathroom design was poor and toilet in with shower is tough with 4 kids and was mouldy in spots. Rooms tight little fresh air, futon area smaller than seems in images and hard wooden floors not tatami meant one of us had to migrate to lounge room and squeeze in mattress next to table.

Bathroom provide good shampoo and soap including quality of bed was good. The owner didn’t provide how to check in with good detail they just say about cone and scan and you will know the rest. Especially the rule is too much and should notify before booking for example they said i need to check out before 10 pm otherwise they will fine. The owner also threaten like sort the garbage and make the room tidy before they check whatttt you said this to customer or your staff? The last thing is i think the carpet which is the floor of the room is dirty.

• Ronald (1/5): Unpleasant, strict hidden rules - spend your money elsewhere - Decent size Don’t bother booking this property. I don’t usually leave reviews but I felt compelled to do so. 1. Check out time is 10am, we did not read the fine print but apparently it’s in the policy. We asked the owner if it’s ok to check out at 11am, was rejected straight away without given a chance to explain. 2. Bad leakage in the toilet. A signage was pasted in the shower room for us to shower a certain way, but the leakage was so bad the whole toilet was wet. The water that leaked out took really long to drain as well. Felt really uncomfortable because it was dirty and to top it off the toilet papers were on the wet toilet floor. 3. Room is said to accommodate up to 6 people. We only have 3 adults and 1 toddler. We used the additional bed but there is only 2 blankets, so 1 of us ended up sleeping without blanket. Plus, the mattress has a terrible stain. 4. Owner texted us a long message to ask us to “put things back in order”, and mentioned if it’s not in the original state, they will charge us. We were also asked to sort out the rubbish before check out, else they will charge as well. These should be in their policies/ should be called out in the booking sites before guests decide whether to book, not after we have checked in the property. All in all the stay was unpleasant, it was noisy at the ground floor and I would spend my money elsewhere given the cleanliness and hospitality is unsatisfactory.

• Deon (9/5): A truly pleasant stay - Coming from Africa we are used to wide open spaces. The extra space of this room compared to other accommodations in Tokyo was simply wonderful. We were 2 people. Very well apportioned room with all amenities. The warm water in the shower took forever to come through. The water in the bathroom basin took very long to drain away. The property rules incl needing to sort the garbage before checking out are very strict.
