Guest Reviews
- Richard (10/5): - Excellent apartment in central location. Host was great in keeping in touch and with instructions we needed for our stay. Even gave great recommendations for restaurants nearby. Nothing. The apartment met all our needs.
- Shaelene (8/5): Good value for central Rome and the host was always available - The location was excellent
For exploring Rome with a real neighbourhood feel The stairs 😊
- Dale (8/5): - Location was wonderful. Interaction with host immediate via What's App. 2nd bedroom adjoining another apartment. It was a little noisy in 2nd bedroom because they could hear the neighbor in the adjacent apartment.
- Miriam (9/5): Great location, nice property - The property was in a great location. Walking distance from all the tourist sites, and very near Campo de’ Fiori, which has a lot of very nice restaurants. It was clean and comfortable, and the host was very helpful. It would have been great if the kitchen had a microwave.

- Kieran (9/5): A perfect apartment located in the heart of Rome. - The location of the property is ideal, situated within walking distance of many big tourist attractions, restaurants and bars. We only had to use the bus twice to get to and from the Vatican, but we could have walked the slightly longer route if the weather was better that day. The apartment was perfect for our needs, two big bedrooms, one with en suite, the other opposite a big shower room. The kitchen was handy so we didn't have to eat out for every meal. Host was super helpful and very responsive, including on recommendations on places to eat etc.
- Katalin (9/5): Very good apartment with excellent location and very kind owner -
- Salud (10/5): - Hemos pasado unos días estupendos en Roma, el apartamento nos gustó mucho, su ubicación excelente.
- NONNA (10/5): Modern Comfort in a 16th-Century Roman Building - Our 10- day stay at this modern apartment was an exceptional experience. Nestled within a 16th-century building, the property perfectly blends historical charm with contemporary amenities, featuring fascinating architectural details that add a unique character to the space.
The location is ideal for exploring the historic center, as it is within short walking distance of the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Spanish Steps, and Trastevere, making it a strategic base for excursions.
Property Highlights:
• Impeccable Condition: The unit was found in pristine condition, featuring easy-to-clean tile floors, quality cotton linens, and an abundance of fresh towels.
• Exceptional Kitchen: The kitchen is notably spacious and remarkably well-equipped with a four-burner gas stove, oven, moka pot, electric kettle, and a full suite of cooking implements. Essential staples like coffee, tea, and salt were thoughtfully provided. A real surprise was a full set of cleaning supplies, including dish washing soap, kitchen cleaning supplies and dishtowels to wash and dry dishes.
• Rooms: The inclusion of two bedrooms and two full bathrooms is a significant convenience for groups. One bedroom is quite large. The beds are King sized & comfortable, leading to a good night’s sleep. The private terrace provides an excellent vantage point for assessing the morning weather.
• Professional Management: The owner, Roberta, was highly professional and efficient in all communications, ensuring a seamless rental process from start to finish.
• Stairs & Steps up to apartment: The three small flights of stone stairs were easy to climb so we never bothered with the elevator.
+ Price= The apartment with included amenities is well-worth the price!
This apartment is an excellent choice for families, friends, or two couples seeking accommodation in the heart of the city. We look forward to staying in this apartment on our next visit to Rome.
THANK YOU, ROBERTA! I can think of nothing that took away from our experience in this apartment.
- Mirno (4/5): -
- Enrico (10/5): - Ottime posizione, gentilezza e professionalità della proprietaria. Nulla da segnalare.
- Katerina (9/5): -
- Paula (8/5): - Great location, spacious property, comfortable, clean beds. All the basics were there - coffee, oil, salt & pepper, soaps and shampoos. Small things could do with being fixed. Main bathroom door doesn't close/lock, cistern in ensuite bathroom extremely loud 😂, lots of scuff marks on walls throughout - needs a coat of paint. It just needs a bit of TLC to have it looking great again.
- AHMET KEREM (8/5): - Ev sahibi çok yardımcıydı, evin konumu çok iyiydi. Banyo duvarlarında saçlar vardı, bina oldukça eski. Yatak odaları konforluydu fakat amerikan mutfaklı oturma alanındaki küçük kanepe 4 kişilik bir aile için yeterli değildi.
- bruce (10/5): Priceless - No breakfast. Location was perfect short walk to all major sites, close to great restaurants and a shopping square on Saturday An elevator
- Gry Schei (8/5): - Flott beliggenhet 😊
- Sarah (10/5): -
- Valerie (10/5): -
- Marisa (10/5): -
- Meg (10/5): The perfect place for a small group to stay in Rome. Would happily come back again☺️ - Had everything we needed and more. Was such a great location to be in. So close to some great cafes and restaurants and walking distance to some of the sights. Communication with the owner was easy and my friends and I felt safe in the area. Would definitely recommend.

- Marcella (7/5): Good - The position in Rome historic center (but quiet at night) is great. Overall nice but nothing special. It was not possible to turn the shower in the en suite bathroom to the hot water position so we could not use it. The other shower was okay but water didn't have a lot of pressure. We could hear our next door neighbors when they were talking but luckily for us they were quiet at night. We were given only one set of keys, which was not ideal for us, and the host apologized for the inconvenience due to the keys having been lost by the previous guests, so I expect this will be solved.
- Nazima (9/5): Superb - - very clean, bright and comfortable apartment: bed, towels, tableware, floors - everything was very clean
- host, Roberta with her husband, was so caring: she was always online via WhatsApp sending us very detailed instructions on entering the apartment and facilities around. We had some problems with WIFI and heating - they fixed it quickly and we were very satisfied with that.
- two bedrooms (one is large), two bathrooms, kitchen and terrace suited our needs
- It was a very old but nice building, located on a small and quiet street with access to the main street on one side and to a small square with many restaurants and a market on the other side.
- there was small interesting elevator that we used to lift our suitcases - a necessary thing!
- a lot of small shops with local goods and café and restaurants around
- it takes about 15-20 minutes to walk to Trevi Fountain and shopping streets - The window in one bedroom and terrace overlook a built-up small inner courtyard, which was a surprise for us, since the neighbors' windows were located very close to each other. But we used curtains and felt no discomfort.
- some dark gray entrance with stairwells, but it was clean and tidy and it seemed buildings in that part of Rome had similar entrances.
- Allen (9/5): A completely perfect stay in Rome 🇮🇹❤️ - Amazing location, great host, comfortable beds and so much space! I would recommend this stay to anyone looking to travel to Rome.
We loved our stay here, and found our host Roberta so helpful. She sent instructions aswell as some of the best food recommendations for our stay. The location is perfect - nestled in an old little cobblestone lane way and right next to Campo Di Fiori, with a tonne of gorgeous restaurants and lively bars. Walking distance to all of the main sights in Rome, the location is really next to none. The apartment itself is very old, oozing with character, well decorated and is very spacious (there were three of us). The beds are also so soft and comfy, I slept really well while here!
Thank you Roberta 🙏 As it’s a very old building, I found there was a bit of noise from our neighbours but I slept with the earplugs and it was totally fine. The shower pressure isn’t very high but, again, to be expected in an old city like Rome! They are such tiny things in the bigger picture of an amazing stay.
- Eva (8/5): Roberta was super helpful, friendly and responsive with any questions or requests I had :-) - We traveled as a family of 4 for my dad's 80th and although we had all traveled to Italy before, this was our first time in Rome. The location was perfect and we walked or bussed everywhere easily. Like many buildings in that area, it is old and therefore the plumbing is a little sensitive, so be gentle ;-)
- Judith (9/5): Good value in an excellent location. - This apartment was well situated in the heart of Rome, walkable to many sights. There was a taxi stand nearby for more distant sights and a bus network was available in Largo Argentina. We were grateful for the lift in the building. Our host was incredibly helpful. She sent a video on how to access the apartment and was very responsive to all our questions.
- Emma (10/5): Family with Teenager Loved It Here - We had a fantastic stay in Rome. The apartment is full of character, comfortable and clean. The public transport routes (mostly used No.64 bus) is just a 1 minute walk away to take you to Roma Termini etc. We also rode the circular bus and visited the Appian Way which we hired e-bikes to explore - stunning! The Vatican is walking distance (approx 15-20 mins) from the apartment. We walked to the Colloseum at night which was quite a long walk but well worth the incredible photos. If you get the No.64 to P. Venetzia, it's only a short 10 minute walk. Also, just a 2 minute walk from the apartment is a square full of Italian charm, restaurants, street artists and musicians. There is a small market here during the day. There is lots to do in the immediate area. We travelled with our 15 year-old daughter who enjoyed the shops, incredible gelato and sites too. We also caught a train to Florence and spent a day there too. It's approx. 1.5 hrs by train from Roma Termini.
Roberta, our apartment contact, was very friendly and helpful. Instructions to get in to the apartment and things in the local area were very helpful. I would love to stay here again and visit more of Rome.
- Kate (10/5): Awesome location and comfortable family apartment - Great location in a cool area close to everything. The host was quick to respond to queries and any assistance required.
- Melanie (9/5): Great location and great stay - Location second to none, clean, very secure, and super comfy beds. Roberta was great at keeping in touch! En-suite shower door wasn’t great and leaked a lot in that shower. Relatively quick fix and minor detail in a great property.
- Liesl (8/5): Very good - Sadly we didn’t have wifi during our stay as it wasn’t working. However, the owner was contactable and tried to resolve the issue.
- Mariam (10/5): Cozy spot to rest after walking the streets of Rome! - I booked this place as a place for my mom and brother to visit Rome for the first time. I had studied year many years ago. The property was everything we could have wished for - perfect location for meandering the streets of Rome, cute restaurants nearby, a stroll to Campo de'Fiori and the Pantheon. Also the host was absolutely wonderful. She checked in on us frequently, and the apartment was cleaned while we were out in the middle of our stay, which we so appreciated. A great place for a comfy stay in Rome, especially if extended. The only thing I wish the apartment had was a place to sit and be comfortable/lounge. My mother has mobility issues and there was more than one night where we got back from dinner or a day of walking and I wish she had been able to relax somewhere other than the bedroom. But that's a minor thing when we're walking around Rome!
- Robert (8/5): Nice stay in an historical part of the city. - Overall very good. Ideal location. Very quiet. A little small, but perfect for 2 couples and mainly as a base for visiting the city. Within walking distance of many major attractions. (WiFi was reliable, easy to connect to and free.) Could have done with a wider selection of cutlery and cooking utensils. A toaster would have been a nice addition. However, still adequate in all respects.
- Marc (10/5): Nice appartment on a great location with very friendly and helpfull host. - Nice appartment on a great location with very friendly and helpfull host. Nothing that really matters.
- Gesine (9/5): Superb - Our host was very nice and the communication was excellent. The location of the property was superb.
- Sanjay (8/5): Very good -
- Angela (6/5): Pleasant -
- Judy (8/5): The apartment was comfortable, met our expectations. I recommend. - Location was excellent. Hosts were accommodating. It was easy to reach them by text message when there was a problem or question, and they were responsive. the apartment is light, airy. supplied with cooking utensils, washing machine. On our third day in the apartment there was an electrical power failure. this was no fault of the hosts. Even with their constant calls to the electric company it took the electric company more than a day to fix it. It was an inconvenience, and our hosts did everything they could to ameliorate the difficulty. looking back it only added to the adventure of the holiday.
We learned later that in the old buildings these things happen. But the electric outage took my rating down. otherwise I would give it a 10.
- Eric (6/5): Pleasant - la ubicacion esta bien poor quality of furnitures and bathroom
- Rina (10/5): Unforgettable stay in Rome! - Great Location to many great Roman sights, very clean and comfortable, Ro was a wonderful hostess! Would definitely go back. Nothing
- Jacinda (10/5): Awesome stay here, host was very good with communication beforehand and during. Very good! - The property was very spacious and in a great location, close proximity to all of the Rome sites (we used Lime Scooters). Only stayed one night so didn’t make too much use of all the facilities but had everything you would need! N/A!
- Karen (8/5): Lovely apartment in walking distance of local sites - Apartment convenient to bars / restaurants with 5 mins walking. Good area for local sites such as Vatican etc could walk too it. Liked how towels were changed during our 5 day stay. Balcony was nice in the heat Nothing - only that there is no comfy seating in the apartment such as a seatee. Just a small bench or kitchen table seats. To note there is a few flight of stairs for people who can't walk up/ down steps. Although a small lift is there too.
- Margaret (9/5): Superb -
- Sonia (9/5): The host, Roberta, was amazing. She not only sent us a text with instructions, but she also did a video. This was very h - Close to Piazza Navona and Trestevere.
Great for a family to stay for a few days or a week.
Beds are very comfortable.
Amazing kitchen, but we didn’t get to use it because only there one night. There is a balcony which is pretty, but hot and the view is of the other building.
- Anonymous (9/5): wonderful! we would be back! - location, clean, friendly accommodations, good communication with host, provided a few drinks on arrival and coffee available in home hot water wasn’t working on day 1 however they promptly fixed the meter that day. no other complaints
- Jeffrey (9/5): Superb - Great place nestled in the heart of Rome. easy to get anywhere we needed and within walking distance of multiple places. all good. owner had noted a plumbing issue but we didn’t experience anything.
- Larry (10/5): we were in Rome for a short amount of time and apartment location made it easy to do everything we wanted. two bathrooms - location location location. walking distance to pantheon, trivie fountain and colosseum. nothing
- Alison (10/5): Look no further for your home away from home in the perfect location. - Everything!! My favorite place to stay and I’ve been to Rome many times. Our family of four were incredibly comfortable. The location is top notch. It’s quiet, well fitted, beds are comfortable, best host ever, feels like home away from home. The bathrooms are great (they’re not always great in Europe)! There’s nothing to not like. Everything was perfect.
- Sonia (9/5): great apartment for a stay in the centre of Rome - the apartment was centrally located to many of the sights. a recurring noise of a compressor kicking in and smell from rubbish in the foyer
but nothing that really bothered our holiday
- Caruana (8/5): Super apartment in the centre of Rome - This apartment is great! The location is super - just a few minutes' walk from Piazza Navona - and the apartment itself is very clean and comfortable. You have all you need for a lovely stay, including a little terrace, two good-sized bedrooms (one with ensuite) and a bathroom. The hosts are absolutely exceptional - kind, communicative and they made great recommendations. Good WiFi too. I highly recommend this apartment for your stay in Rome!
