Guest Reviews
- Nicole (10/5): - Great location
Easy communication Nothing
- Jack (7/5): -
- David (2/5): Disappointing and will never stay here again and do not recommend. - Location Not very clean
Very very tiny apartment
‘Bedroom 2’ is a very small office that barley fits the single bed in it
Advertised as a 3 bed apartment but to have the 3rd bed set up was a hidden $66 charge
Blind in main room was broken and I had to fix it
Blinds in bedroom too small to cover windows so they don’t block out much light
Handle on front door was loose and basically fell apart. Had to put furniture behind door to ensure security.
- Tina (7/5): recommond it if you are going for a short trip. worth of money - The location is great, the room is cozy. you can text the host anytime, responded fast. there was a beep sound from a electronic box on the wall each 30mins in the bedroom which was not pleasant when you were in sleep. There were also stains on the bedsheet.
- Ashley (9/5): - Close to everything, clean, comfy beds The carpet in corridor really smelt, air con didn’t work very well
- Tangney (3/5): Would not stay again, no wifi when promoted as having it is just not good enough - The location was exceptional. No wifi. And sadly the continual deflection of the property owners suggesting it was a capacity issue on day 1, through to requests to do this on the next day, that the day after ... this went on for many days. We weren't holidaying in Melbourne to sort out your wifi.
- Julie (8/5): Fantastic location. I’d stay here again. - Fantastic location. Right on a tram line. Very close to the tennis (Australian Open). And nice and handy to the CBD. The beds were a little firm, and I was asked to pay extra for linen the sofa bed, which is slightly frustrating.
- WenFos (5/5): Great Location but.....some issues need addressing. - Location is great!
The apartment was generally clean. 2nd bedroom is small with room only for the single bed. Mattress needs replacing as it sags and the springs can be felt through the mattress. Impossible to sleep comfortably.
Internet was not working. Reported this twice to the online contact. Suggestions made to get it to work were unsuccessful.
Phone reception terrible inside the apartment.
TV glitches frequently.
Smoke alarm had an issue and beeped incessantly for 2 days and nights. Again, the online assistance was not satisfactory in helping to sort out this problem. Made our stay less than positive.
- Shaun (9/5): - Location was great Keys were a little hard to track down
- Ben (1/5): One of the worst experiences I have ever had in staying in short term accommodation. - The check in was unacceptable. One of my friends who was sharing the stay could not find the keys according to the instructions. It took about 2 hours for him to receive the keys because they were not left in a lock box according to what was in the check in instructions. The spare bedroom was too small and there was not enough blankets. I was charged a $66 fee to have the sofa bed set up which I then had to organise myself. The pictures on booking.com didn’t adequately show the apartment. It was smaller than was depicted on the website.
- Kajol (6/5): Fine for one visit, but i will not stay there again unless major emergancy - The location was great and the access to apartment was good once we accessed the key.
It was close to where we needed to be- the Forum and it was easy to get in and out.
For a 2 bedroom apartment, it was ok.
I slept in the bigger bed, which was lovely.
The shower was my favourite part, great heat and good water pressure
And the price was good too considering there was heaps going on during that week & weekend. The Wifi was inaccessible so trying to access information and questions from the hosts on how our stay is going was impossible.
The other bedroom was so small!
It resembled Harry Potter- in- the- cupboard- under- the-stairs- vibes
The toilet holder was poorly placed ( behind the toilet rather than next to it).
Plus the shampoo and conditioner was placed on top of the toilet rather than in thew shower or on the shower shelf.
The fan in the bathroom was so weak that wood is warping and paint is chipping off.
Finally, you are charging me $180 for clean up yet I have to not use the bins, collect my rubbish and dump it in the non-existent bins outside the elevators OTHERWISE I will have to be charged extra. WTH?!
- Leann (5/5): It was ok, I wouldn't book it again - As per my answer to previous questions, it was passable, the bed was hard, the tv lagged, just ordinary.
- Zelvis (1/5): I cancelled accommodation due to the conditions of the apartment and the health concerns. - The location was good The bed had bedbugs, there was no mattress protectors and pillows were stained and had mould. The bedroom size was that of a cupboard, very claustrophobic no window literally a single bed with no ventilation. The mattress dipped down in the center. No extra blankets, when requested the host informed me that they do not have extra blankets and to turn the air conditioner on.
- Michael Desmond Bolt (10/5): -
- Joanne (7/5): - Location and size was good. No internet access. Needs a deep clean, quite dirty and broken glass around when we arrived.
- Nicola (7/5): - Great location There were a few things missing/didn’t work. We couldn’t find a hair dryer, something to stir food with and the tv was very staticy.
- Ken (4/5): I don’t recommend this unit - The location is excellent The place was filthy the air conditioner worked now and then and when I rang about it he made out he didn’t know but reading past reviews it’s a ongoing problem the shower and hand basin do not drain real good the and bedroom is a old linen cupboard or computer room when my son put he’s bag in there he had to jump over it so he slept on couch with steel bar in his back.
- Marcus (8/5): Very good -
- Aylee (7/5): Good - clean, tidy shower flooding caused hazard for elderly customer, no milk for coffee/tea facilities
- Jessica (7/5): Quiet appartment block, nice people all round.. easy to navigate the boarding pass, property needs a deep clean. - Great location!! Easy access to the city!!!! Bathroom shower has drainage issue.. need to have quick showers or you find the water pooling and running out of the shower
- Adam (8/5): Very good -
- Maria (6/5): Pleasant -
- Shamika (6/5): Came over for a concert and the aquarium. - Unfortunately due to the location ,we were not told there is an alley and a club below us ,so we hardly got any sleep ! The shower kept flooding , the exhaust fan in the bathroom had not been cleaned for years , the bed in the bed room was comfy but the spare in the lounge room was not . Then pulled down the blinds in our room to unfortunately find around 15 dead baby moths ! 😔
The Tv wouldn’t work without glitching every few seconds so we spent our nights in the communal lounge room where you get zero phone service but also had to be out of there by 10pm. So had no entertainment, couldn’t even watch Netflix or anything.
The positives are it’s so close to all the shops ,Iga down a few shops ,Coles and Burke street ,Ben and Jerry’s maybe a 10 min walk , very close to Rod laver arena.
Next time I stay again I will ask for a higher level and a balcony not facing an alley and cocktail bar /clubs. The club throwing away glass beer bottles into a huge bin all hours of the morning and night ,not really what you want !
- Darren (5/5): Passable -
- Kelli (1/5): Bad - We didn’t get to stay at the property because we couldn’t access the lock box and had to stand out in the street with our bags for 2 hours. The contact number wouldn’t answer and when they did they would say they would get back to us within 10mins. This never happened and when i had to repeatedly phone back no-one would answer. Totally unacceptable service and we deserve a refund. The lock
Box was across the road from the hotel on a wire fence in the bushes with the public walking past looking at us like we were stealing something. Very dodgy to stay the least.
- Robert (6/5): Pleasant -
- Melissa (3/5): Disappointed, would not recommend. - Excellent location Apartment was very dirty and air conditioning did not work. Broken blind in lounge room removed so was very bright. Second bedroom is not a bedroom. It is a converted cupboard.
- Anne-marie (9/5): Superb -
- Pia (6/5): Convenient location, but the experience was let down by cleanliness issues and poor communication. - The property was in a great location with easy access to the tram and train station. The lockbox was difficult to open, and it took over two hours to get into the property due to poor communication. Additionally, the balcony was dirty, with spider webs in the corners, which my toddler ended up playing in.
- Indianna (9/5): Superb - very close to trams and walking distance to flinders station !
