Guest Reviews
- James Peek (7/5): Great location, nice apartment with quality furnishings and amenities let down by terrible comms - Location was great, walking distance to South Bank restaurants and Streets Beach area. Apartment was clean and was well equipped, clean, and comfortable. The hosts provided chocolates, popcorn and chips which my kids were impressed with. Originally we were meant to have a concierge provided by the host company MaisonNets but in the days leading up to the booking we received multiple emails with this person being changed, to finally getting an email that said there would be no concierge and we'd have to collect the keys from a location nearby (500m). Unfortunately this instruction did not include specific details on where to collect the keys, only an address for an enitre city block with multiple businesses on it. MaisonNets were slow to respond when I asked about this, and didn't add any useful detail. With some asking around I eventually found where they were (the IGA), but wasn't a great start to the visit! Without a concierge we had no detail on the building in terms of what was where and how access to things like the car park etc were controlled, and there was no paperwork with this in the apartment either. Having to pick up and drop the keys 500m away was an inconvenience as well, particularly as there seems to be a perfectly functional reception desk in the building's foyer.
- Don (8/5): Will be back - Great
- Kristina (8/5): -

- Sarah (8/5): Perfectly comfortable, clean, and safe city location for walking to South Bank - Someone met us to hand over the keys, show us how to access the private parking space and the apartment - this was super handy and having his number before hand was reassuring.
The apartment was clean, the balcony was a good size, the beds and sofa were comfortable and I liked the fact it had a dishwasher and a decent coffee maker. The TV was also a good size, good picture and you could watch Apple TV, Netflix etc!
The shared pool was nice, if a little small, and only a few sun beds but it was quiet (November).
The plunge pools on the top of the building were lovely on a hot day! And going up to the rooftop to look at the storm rolling in gave us such good views!
Recommend David’s Master Pot next door for some nice takeaway food, there was a nice bar called 11 bridges on the way down towards the museum (free and super good!). That bar doubled as a coffee shop in the mornings and the coffee was lovely. The loudness of the traffic, particularly loud in the main bedroom despite the balcony door being shut. It was 10-20 decibels louder in that room than the other bedroom or living area. Not sure if the door might be ill fitting.
The car park space was also at the very bottom basement floor so took a while getting in and out of the building to the space and back but not the fault of the apartment.
We also thought the buildings jacuzzi was poor (1 jacuzzi spa to fit 4 people in, located in tower 2. The jacuzzi didn’t work properly and the water didn’t look too clean. Again not the fault of the apartment owners.
