Guest Reviews
- Leah (1/5): A complete disappointment - don't waste your money. - The location of the property is excellent for ease of travelling on the ferry services. The pool area has great views. Upon arrival we immediately noticed how unclean the apartment was. It appears that it has been a very long time since the apartment has had a deep clean, not only was there crumbs on the floor, but food/drinks splattered on walls, surface dust everywhere/built up on fans, cobwebs, thick dirt/dust behind the sofa, and ants crawling around the apartment. The fridge and microwave had sauce/food splattered on them, and any pans or cookware that we went to use all had to be cleaned as they obviously are not checked by the cleaner. The shower was only warm for our 2 children to have a quick shower, and then ice cold for us parents, additionally there was soap scum left on the holder from a previous stay, and the towels are beyond in need of replacing. The toilet seat does not fit the pan properly and slides all over the place. And to top it off, as the fridge door is within a cupboard, it does not shut properly, so after the first night more than half of our food was spoilt. The queen bed and single fold out bed is rock hard, and we were not informed that there were any construction works going on outside our apartment which meant a lovely 7am wake up call on the Monday morning with power tools being used and workers outside our windows all morning. Due to the works there was also nowhere to park our 4WD as the multi-storey carpark is that tight it is ridiculous. With the cost of living, going away with our children is few and far between, and we were devastated that our hard earned money was wasted here. We reached out to the owner Annette on numerous occasions to ask for compensation, however she ignored this request, merely offering band aid solutions instead. Lastly check-out is 11am, and the cleaner decided to just walk on in at 10:40am whilst we were gathering our belongings to leave, telling us that check-out was 10am as per the owner. The overall experience was truly disappointing, upsetting and ruined a huge part of our time away.
- Kylie (7/5): - Great views and location The hot water kept running out in the shower
- Katherine (9/5): Amazing view! - Amazing view. Fantastic location with ferry wharf right outside apartments. Comfortable bed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
- Ana (10/5): Best view of Sydney with the most helpful hosts - The hosts are some of the most helpful I’ve ever come across (they delivered on all of our needs). My husband and I were in Australia celebrating our honeymoon and this was our last stop. The view of the Opera House is incredible. The ferry to Circular Quay is extremely helpful. The flat is extremely cozy and just made the end of our trip even more special. We were awaken by the fire alarm one morning which was quite the scare
- Tracy (10/5): - The location was amazing, right at the ferry. Lovely view. The owner really thought about everything you could want or need. The fridge stocked with bread, eggs, milk and butter. Heaps of other staple pantry items. Games & books, picnic item and much more. The bed was really comfortable. There was 2 extra bed options in the lounge room which was an awesome bonus as I was traveling with 2 kids so we didn’t have to share.
It was a great location if traveling to the main attractions in Sydney, a quick ferry trip and you are there. Although the ferry is expensive for the length of journey.
The hosts were helpful, quick to reply and accommodating to my requests. The occupants of other units were also really friendly.
Found a great restaurant near by, Bene & Co. I’m sad that I can’t go back there. It’s an older unit, so it’s got some quirks. It’s a portable aircon (which works well), but they are known to be loud. It blocks the blinds going down in the lounge room (not ideal if using the foldout beds). The hot water cuts in and out in the shower, so that was tricky for my young kids.
There is a lovely strip of cafes/restaurants around but it’s a 10min walk up hill. Not a hard walk, but would be for someone with mobility issues. The grocery store is a bit far to walk. There is a small grocer in walking distance but it was very expensive.
- Tricia (10/5): Comfortable stay with incredible views at Harbourside 7 - What an absolutely wonderful stay at Harbourside 7. A very clean and comfortable apartment with incredible views of the Harbour Bridge and Opera House. Thankyou Annette for the surprise goodies in the fridge....and extra amenities that were made available to us....it was very much appreciated.
The ferry terminal was only steps away, which made discovering Sydney and the harbour very easy.
Highly recommend.
* Eier
* Toastbrot
* Butter
* Milch
- Kamantha (10/5): - Location was amazing, views so good, close to transport. Apartment was well equipped Probably only suitable for family with younger kids. Other beds bit uncomfortable, but worth it for the location
- Diana (9/5): It was amazing. 2 stops on the ferry to Circular Quay. Nice & quiet with an amazing view. I braved the pool for a qu - The location was incredible! Such a beautiful view. Being on the 3rd level was also very convenient, as we could park the car close by to unload/ load. The shower was fantastic. Great pressure and size! And some nice lil touches, with breakfast supplies & basic essentials available in the kitchen. The bed was quite firm for me personally. Perhaps I’d bring an eggshell layer next time to add some softness!
- Dawn (8/5): - Top location.
Annette was a super helpful host, Thank you.
- MARK (10/5): Great apartment in a fantastic location with unbelievable views - Location was fantastic and so was the apartment
- Irwin (9/5): Lovin it. - The location is great, great view especially from the pool and front of the apartment. The parking, if the open parking is full the parking in the building can be challenging either tight space. Very minor inconvenience.
- Danielle (9/5): Fantastic views, super central, loved it! - Loved this place! Waking up to views of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge was amazing! I am always skeptical booking a place with a view because its often not as good as advertised but this place definitely is. Location is 10/10 - you get to be right next to the city whilst getting the best view of it. The ferry to Circular Quay (CBD) and other harbours is right outside the front door. Some basic breakfast and coffee was provided which was thoughtful. We arrived to some rainy and cold weather and were very grateful to have under floor heating, electric blankets, and a good heater in the living room. There was also an AC unit and fans for the summer. We didn't use the pool or BBQ but I imagine that would be amazing in the right weather! Overall we loved it and we'd definitely stay again.
- Roger (9/5): Superb -
- Wendy (10/5): Fantastic Sydney Stay - The unit was perfectly situated a short ferry ride from Circular Quay and with an uninterrupted view of the bridge and Opera house and away from the hustle and bustle The apartment was fully stocked, clean and well maintained. The host was extremely helpful with my inquiries an I would highly recommend this apartment to anyine visiting Sydney I hope to visit and stay again soon.
- Yongxuan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ekaterina (5/5): Overall it was passable, though it could really be perfect with some deep cleaning taking place more regularly. - Location was good and close to the ferry, though ferry is not the cheapest public transport option. Found a great cafe nearby ( Northern spoon).
View was great! The apartment is tiny and it felt a bit crowded as there were 4 of us. The sofa-bed in lounge/dining area was quite firm and felt unclean. The whole apartment clearly needed proper cleaning- dust everywhere (we had to take anti-allergy pills because of the amount of dust). I had to wipe over shelves and other surfaces. Floor and grout was filthy.
- Robyn (10/5): Always love Harbourside - Location
- Jarrad (10/5): Exceptional - The view of the harbour Bridge and the Opera house. Watching the ferries from the kitchen window. The fact the ferry stop was right outside the door (pretty much)
- Michelle (9/5): A fantastic place to stay - Wonderful location, very comfortable stay and amazing views. Would definitely recommend and would stay again. If I was being really picky the bathroom was a bit tired. Unlike the rest of the property.
- Felicity (9/5): Fantastic views, fully self sufficient unit right in the heart of Sydney. - How fabulous to have milk, bread, eggs and butter already provided in the fridge for breakfast. The kitchen had a pretty good supply of staples for cooking like salt, oils, spices etc. Also good amount of coffee/tea/sugar.
I've never stayed in a place with such an amazing view. Loved being able to take the ferry straight across to Circular Quay.
You can see the Opera House and Bridge from the kitchen and living windows. Reception people are friendly and helpful. Wish I owned this place :) The pool was under renovation, and we were hoping to use the BBQ area while we stayed. Just bad timing for us.
- Timothy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Iain (7/5): Good - Location Bed, mattress, pillows, linen all need updating. Poor quality.
- Tropicalyn (8/5): Perfect views of the city - The location and view were wonderful. It's a large apartment with comfortable furniture. The kitchen had every appliances and piece of equipment anyone could want to cook a meal. There were supplies available such as oil and vinegar, tea and coffee, salt and pepper etc. The hot water system was playing up on the first day which frustrated both the owner and us but happily it settled down on the 2nd day. The owner couldn't have been more responsive and helpful.
- Rachel (10/5): Wonderful to meet up with son - Location, location, location
- Adam (9/5): Superb -
- Keith (8/5): Annette’s communications were great and enjoyed the stay at a great location. Dinner at Sails was great. - Great location, well stocked kitchen and nice produce in fridge. Close to ferry and restaurants and cafes Leak from the toilet needs fixing
- Wendy (10/5): Best location to enjoy beautiful Sydney - Location. Views. Facilities, everything! Leaving!!
- Leonie (7/5): Great location - Nice to have breakfast staples included Unclear access to property. Toilet seat not fitted properly.
- Karen (8/5): Enjoyed our stay and would visit again - Location was amazing for views and travel into theCity. Swimming pool overlooking the harbour. In the bathroom the toilet was very cramped whereas the shower was almost too spacious. Cooking facilities were limited
- Ellenor (10/5): Exceptional -
- Claire (9/5): Fab location just a few minutes by ferry from circular quay. - What an amazing location! Loved being so close to the ferry! Loved the views too. Fab welcome pack for breakfast was also a nice touch, and the kitchen was well equipped. Loved the rainbow lorikeets outside too. Would have loved it if the sofa bed had been made up for our arrival, and hot water reaching the shower sometimes seemed to take a while,but these are tiny details compared to the overall great time we had!
- Sarah (9/5): Superb -
