The beds were very comfortable with high quality linen and plenty of blankets and pillows. The kitchen was next level. Jo is such a generous host...we honestly could have survived our two night stay there with just what was supplied in the fridge and pantry! It's ideal for two couples. Even though there is only one bathroom, there is a separate toilet and laundry area with a trough, washing machine and dryer. The balcony was perfect for reading or having an afternoon nap in the dappled sun. Jo was so friendly and easy going. The perfect host. Highly recommend the farmhouse. One of the best BNBs we've stayed in! Nothing...it was perfect!

I say "Home" because that's the feeling you get when you walk through the front door.. Heritage/sheak. Yet, it shows a modernised touch through out the house. The bedrooms are spacious, all with double beds. The main boasts a queensize bed and a walk-in robe. The beds are so comfortable that you dont want to get out of them! 👌 My daughter loved the cubby house with the slide. All facilities (washing machine, dryer, oven etc) were in top condition. Luxuries like a coffee maker were also provided. It felt like a home away from home.
Jo arrived just as we had arrived at the accommodation and welcomed us like friends. A lovely lady.
I highly recommend Jo's Farmhouse B&B to anyone wanting a relaxing, comfortable country get away. If I could fault anything it would be, there were too many nick-knacks around. 'Dust collectors' is what my mother would call them. :)

Fridge and pantry generously stocked with all the necessaries plus so many thoughtful extras. We stayed in pretty rough weather (heavy wind and rain) and the fire already going when we arrived was so lovely. Beds super comfortable, had the best sleep here of our whole trip. There is no wifi but this was a welcome escape, plus so many DVDs provided we had fun looking through and choosing. The house has a bathtub and many candles are provided for a peaceful soak. The house is surrounded by pademelons at dusk, being adorable. We stood just outside and watched them quietly for about an hour!
Geeveston is a great location, with a fantastic wine bar in town (they also do great pickles!) with super knowledgeable and friendly staff. Also has a lovely bakery, small IGA, and plenty of places to eat out a close drive if you can tear yourself away from Jo's cottage for the evening. There's a platypus walk by the river in Geeveston, we saw one and it was so special.
Hartz national park was unreal, even in wind & rain!
