• karma (6/5): It was very easy to deal with the focal person but could have been better hygiene. - Specious and good location. The floor were very dirty. Glass doors and windows was not clean too. There was some unpleasant smell in the property. Couch and its cushions covers were ripped and really needed some wash.

• Nguyen (7/5): - The space is amazing. Large apartment with great basic appliances to use. The location is also a good distance to thw train station and a small grocery store. Lots of quick eateries around too. The location is loud and the area doesnt look the most friendly. To be frank, the area seems pretty dodgy. The city noise does die down, but only after 2-3am and even then, alot of vehicles still loudly drive past. I would not reccomend staying in this place alone due to the area it is in.

• Dietsch (1/5): - We're unable to access the property, so found other nearby accommodation. I tried 3 times to contact the person responsible for property, we waited and tried to access the property for o er an hour but did not return any of the calls. Would expect a refund for this accommodation.
• Henness (1/5): Unsafe mouldy ceiling in bedroom and kitchen 12/9/25 - On 12/9/2025, there was black mould growing on the bedroom ceiling directly above bed, as well as the kitchen ceiling with active water ingress. The provided contact staff Eric Xue was not helpful upon my immediate report of the unsafe condition for visitor. Eric asked me to contact booking.com regarding the refund on 12/9/2026. Until 15/9/25 close of business, Booking.com confirmed that the property did not respond to their request to cancel the bookimg, nor authorise the refund.

• Alison (6/5): Pleasant - Very convenient location right in the heart of Newtown. Clean apartment. As apartment is on the main road, it is quite noisy. Very uncomfortable mattress and pillows (extremely soft and lumpy). No milk was provided for tea/coffee. Coffee that was there looked as though it had been left by previous guests as was just sitting in a pile in the cupboard. The smoke alarm was dangling out of the ceiling and didn’t appear to be functional.

• Elliott (3/5): Great location but otherwise aggressively mediocre - The location is fantastic and quiet enough to sleep with the windows closed. The kitchen has salt, pepper, oil, pots and pans, plates etc. There is a coffee machine but no jug to steam the milk and no tamper. The hosts communications were frequent but cut-and-paste, any questions we had were ignored and we were asked for the same information multiple times (like what time we'd be checking in, despite providing this at the time of booking). We had hoped to organise a late check out (11am instead of 10am) since we had read in other guests reviews that they had been able to do this, however Evan would not acknowledge us. The floors were fiiiilthy (bring slippers if you don't want dirty feet). The bedding was dirty. The smoke alarm is broken and from reading other reviews it looks like it has been broken since early 2023. There is rubbish stored on the balcony.
