- Pędracki (10/5): Lipcowy wypad na przedłużony weekend - Świetna lokalizacja, wystrój idealnie pasujący do rzymskiego klimatu i co bardzo ważne w lecie super wydajna klimatyzacja.
- Skoko (10/5): Exceptional -
- Wayne (6/5): A very nice apartment marred by very poor service from the host - We stayed three nights in October 2024.
Milo Apartment was perfectly clean.
The apartment's thoughtful thematic renovation was well crafted and executed.
The furniture and bed were very comfortable.
The living/dining room was ample.
Gentle notes of the girl's Spanish choir from the Chiesa di Santa Maria della Luce across the narrow restaurant-lined street floated up to our windows, which also provided light, fresh air, and a satisfying view.
If you like Trastavere, the location was excellent.
The kitchen was good enough. The entry instructions, payments, and all communications were conducted online and via email, which was mostly canned and impersonal.
Knowing that after our overseas flight we would arrive at the entry without internet access, we requested building/apartment entry instructions before our flight to FCO, but were denied. We also asked that someone meet us at the apartment upon arrival.
Fortunately we were able to check email via free wifi on arrival at FCO and thus obtain the check-in instructions. Upon arrival at the apartment building. However, no one was there to meet us, and we stood in the street with no internet access and thus unable to call the phone number required to trigger the lock to enter the building. Fortunately we were able to ask a passerby to call the unlocking phone number for us, and we entered the building. (Of course, now that passerby also has the number to enter the building.)
Included in the entry instructions was the notice that we would need to climb the stairs to the apartment four and a half floors above. Did we miss this in the booking.com description of the property? Maybe. There was a photo of perhaps a flight of stairs, but I went back to look and could not find more than that.
There were other features that anyone thinking of staying at this property may wish to know about. Hot water was abundant and was well-delivered. But the shower was tiny. A guest with a larger-than-average girth might have difficulty moving around in it.
The living/dining room at night was under-lit, and the most important fixture, the reading lamp over the sofa, didn't work. We notified the "host" who asked for a photo of the defective light fixture, which we sent. "We'll check with our team and get back to you shortly," he promised, but the response we received in a subsequent email was: "Is everything ok with your stay?
