• Tracey (7/5): Good budget hotel, great access for rail, friendly and helpful staff. - The hotel is ideal for those on a budget looking to stay in North London. It is superbly placed for access to the train station which was fantastic. The staff are wonderful and very kindly let me check in early. As expected, being in London, there is outside noise. But if you are looking for a budget hotel in London, with easy access to central London and Gatwick Airport, the hotel is good value for money. The hotel is signed under another name which makes it difficult to locate due to the confusion. Also a towel rail would've been useful. The standard of the door locks could be improved to better assure lone travellers. Also, whilst the overall level of cleanliness was good, there were some stains on the wall in the bathroom which were offputting.

• Amira Usman (2/5): Not a great experience, don’t recommend - Not much Check in process was terrible, the address on booking is wrong, tried to contact the hotel but the number kept on going to voicemail. The room itself wasn’t terrible but the towels were dirty and had stains on them and the bathroom was not great, I believe that’s why there aren’t any pictures of the bathroom on the booking sites.

• Juan Carlos (2/5): No aconsejable. - Nada, solo a medias el precio para lo que hay en Londres, pero por poco mas seguro que hay cosas mejores. En gneral mal. No cumplio lo que ponía. Ni la cama era de ese tamaño, la televisión estaba arrancada de la pared y estaban solo los agujeros, sin limpiar de los anteriores, por supuesto en 4 noches quie estuvimos no hicieron la habitación, el desayuno ni cafe ni leche caliente y dos cosas para comer. El baño la ducha casi no se entra de lo pequeña que es, se salia el agua por que estaba el duchón flojo, no se vambiaron toallas en los 4 días, etc.. La poarada de metro estaba a 20 minutos andando, y el Bus a 7/8 minutos.
• Sebastian (1/5): Sehr reudig in diesen Hotel sind nach 1 Nacht in ein anderes gegangen - Nichts Die Zimmer sind nicht so wie auf den Bildern Bad is sehr renovierungsbedürftig genauso wie der Rest des ganzen Hauses Türen sind großteils sehr beschädigt man hört alles kann kaum schlafen und das Hotel zu finden gleicht einer großen Herausforderung

• lisa (1/5): It was like trying to shit a melon - I had an absolutely horrendous time in the death trap, of a hotel room There was no plug by the bed it had a 4 pin plug with massive wire leading all way round room, never seen such a long wire, had hairdryer kettle, the lamp, the mobile & tv for In one thing so every time I stepped on the floor I went flying! Then it was absolutely freezing cold. I had the quilt on me but the pillows were like rocks so hard that I got a neck ache in 2 hrs and I couldn’t turn my head to the left in the morning, so I tried to use the cushions for rest of night but they absolutely stunk and were filthy so I had to screw the quilt up to put behind my head, meaning I was really really cold with only a bit left to cover me! At 5 am in the morning, they were babbling away in a foreign language right outside my door even though I arrived at midnight told the man I had a big days work a presentation I was earning £140. He still did that, I had to shout at him. He said sorry but that was it. I didn’t go back to sleep awake from 5 am Lay there crying in end as night got worse & I forgot to mention that never seen such a manly showe dirty. There was nothing in the bottom of the shower was full of hair and yellow when you stepped out of the shower it’s like he was in Antarctica! Anyway, they were bringing me breakfast at 7:30 am. I’d asked for egg on toast nothing else too much for me in the morning. The man walked in with two eggs, sausage, bacon beans toast that wasn’t even toasted. It was absolutely freezing cold there is no way on earth the man could not of known it was freezing cold. I was sat in bed and tried to put it at the other side of the road. I said I will have it here he blatantly didn’t want to give it to me while he was in the room I nearly threw up in my bin. I started crying my eyes out. I told him that I had to ring in sick for work, so I paid £60 for that room £120 lost wages the day before Christmas Eve. I couldn’t go and get my food shopping What is stupid question what did and I like what do you think the whole experience!

• Mihaela Angela (5/5): The stay was below my expectations. Worse than the one six years ago at another location in London. - What did I like?? Well, almost nothing. The location is quite far from the center. But that's the least of the problems. Public transport is very well developed. The hotel owner still has a lot to improve for the hotel to reach two stars. The bathroom window didn't close perfectly. There is no heat source in the bathroom, in winter you can't really take a shower because you freeze. The bathroom window is perfectly transparent, when you take a shower the neighbors in the building opposite can see you naked. There is no towel rack in the bathroom, just a cabinet that is about to fall. There is no soap holder in the shower. You don't have a toilet brush. A mini fridge in the room would have been good. The cabinet in the room moves very hard, you were afraid to put anything in it. The TV didn't work, even though I told the reception three times. In the end, they gave me an antenna plug from the reception, and I made it work on a few TV channels. The arch at the entrance door to the room was quite strong, it was hard to open the door. I don't recommend this accommodation, unless the accommodation conditions improve. Breakfast was quite poor, no cheese. Same food every day. The eggs were not fully cooked, the white was a bit raw in places. They should have put some tomatoes or bell peppers on the table. Some cereals were welcome. Quite cold in the dining room, there was a cold draft almost all the time.
• Kevin (5/5): Not very good sleep wise - Ok hot food was hot Not much sleep we were in room 2 , people coming in walking down Corridor 3.30 am The door by reception was open got woken up by reception people talking at 6.30 for about 20 min then at 7.20am the extractor fan outside are window switched on hell of a noise didn't get back to sleep after that.

Going for breakfast felt unsafe having to leave out the back door and walking around. Ended up checking out early as i was uncomforrable there with my child. Will not be going back.

• Nicholas (5/5): Overpric - We couldn't call them, nobody answered. Someone texted me asking to the text them and then never texted me back. The staff in person were lovely and very helpful/accommodating though. The place was very very rough. If it was thirty pounds cheaper it might be acceptable, but they shouldn't be charging £100 a night for this. The shower was missing it's head, there were holes in walls.

• BRIAN (8/5): Convenient with short walk bus or train. - Short walk to railway station / bus stops. Breakfast cooked on arrival. Fresh carpet to hallway + stairs. Was in room 201. Stains on carpet as you enter. Not good first impression of room. Plastic container of teas + coffees had used sugar wrappers + loose tea from previous user + no milk.

• Mary (5/5): A reasonable price for a stay in North London. - The staff were pleasant & reasonably helpful. Close to Harringay's mainline railway station & within walking distance to the High Street. Quiet at night for sleeping. Booking.com said Breakfast was included in the price. It wasn't you had to pay a further £4.95 if you wanted breakfast. There was no TV remote in my room. When I asked for one I was told the TV in there didn't work & there were no other single rooms available to move me to, The room I stayed in was basically clean but needed decorating & refurbishing to smarten it up, especially the shower room which was tatty.
