Guest Reviews
- Richard (10/5): Exceptional -
- Charlotte (9/5): A great place to stay! - We loved the location, which is very convenient to both Tube and bus. Also there are many nice options for dining and shopping just a block or so away, but the neighborhood feels very residential, lots of trees, and quiet. Note that this is a 2 story apartment -- sitting room, kitchen, bath and bedroom on 1st level and then 2 huge bedrooms, bath and dressing room upstairs. We did not have AC and it was hot (80 degrees F) several nights, but there is a good cross-breeze with windows open and it cooled down at night. We were fine -- Be Aware: This flat is up a tight and fairly steep flight of stairs and has another flight within the apartment. There is an elevator but it doesn't work and there doesn't seem to be an intention to get it fixed, which is too bad. We had a little trouble getting the clothes dryer to heat but eventually puzzled it out with the Manual.
- Joanne (10/5): Great stay, lovely family time. - Clean and spacious. Everything we needed. Great location.
- Simon (6/5): It was clean and in a good location. - The top floor ventilation is not good, and it is very stuffy. The walls were really thin.
- Hazara (7/5): Very good but could be better - It's a lovely quiet location and for us a perfect 8 min walk to the Regents Park Mosque.
Everything was generally clean and surprisingly spacious, though slightly run down with wear and tear, e.g.. the upstairs room with the skylight doesn't close properly, so we got super hot in the room, but the hosts have a fan available, which helped a lot. The other bedroom upstairs had flickering lights, but it was okay as we just used the lamp instead. All the beds are quite sunk in, but the duvet and pillows were all clean. There was an odd inappropriate decor piece, which we covered up as it wasn't family appropriate.
Living room was also spacious though there were marks on the sofa.
It has shops and a cool sushi place like a 5-10 min walk away too.
The downstairs bathroom doesn't lock properly, and the sink doesn't drain smoothly, making you have to wait for the water to go down before running the tap slowly again. Showers were all clean and well stocked. Toothpaste would have been helpful.
Something that was slightly annoying was booking.com, which says 3pm check in and 11 am check out. Once booked, the hosts advise 3.30pm. Check in and inside the dorm it says 10 am check out (though we stuck to what booking.com advertised). They need to make sure they get their facts straight, especially as it's non refundable.
On the plus side, the self check in instruction was very clear, and there was space for parking for one vehicle in front of the property, which was very helpful.
- Anton (10/5): Exceptional - Big and comfortable, warm and bright apartment in a central position for London.
Three bedrooms and two bathrooms, suitable for two families. Buses and tube station within 200 m. Kind personal. Beds a bit softer for my taste. A bit expensive...
As we arrived early in the morning the landlord permitted to keep our luggage in the apartment while cleaning it.
Overall a great experience! ---
- Annabel (8/5): Great clean and well equipped flat, could do with a little up keep - Great location, big rooms, all necessary equipment provided in the well stocked kitchen The helix blinds didn’t work properly in the top bedrooms and there wasn’t enough comfy seating in the lounge.
- Mohamed (8/5): Very good -
- Sarah (9/5): Really lovely apartment with fabulous space, spotlessly clean in a brilliant location. Would love to have got the chance - Spotlessly clean and well presented. Needed more sofa space for family bookings. Work needed on some of the windows and blinds and a few touch ups required (like missing sink plugs) but nothing too major. A water filter kettle would have been nice and also a chain/extra bolt on the front door as felt slightly vulnerable with only one lock.
- Mansour (1/5): I will never come back again. - I will never come back again.
The host is unprofessional and they don't respect your security and privacy.
We booked a stay for 6 nights and unfortunately experienced an electricity shutdown. Someone entered our apartment without prior notice while we were sleeping, which was quite unsettling. Furthermore, the water heater wasn't working, and they sent a plumber for repairs on three different days. Overall, our experience was not as expected.
- Wayne (10/5): Exceptional -
- Natalia (10/5): The flat was immaculate - clean, tidy, and even more beautiful than the photos. - The host was amazing, offering helpful tips and making sure everything was perfect.
The self check in instruction is clear and easy 😉
