- Tracy (5/5): Not worth the trouble - The kitchen was nice and it was a quiet neighbourhood The bathroom was not clean. The yard was full of weeds, the bed and pillows were uncomfortable and it was very difficult to get access information to enter the property as there was a lack of communication. Its quite close to the highway and there are not very good amenities near by. There was no beach access close by

- James (9/5): Good stay for family - Roomy place with good layout. Property had not been maintained on the outside, which was one of the reasons we booked. Fence was broken , grass overgrown, rubbish across backyard blown in from the waterway next-door.

- Niels (3/5): WARNING WARNING WARNING - DID NOT PAY BACK FULL DEPOSIT - The stay was great overall. However, after checking out, I received a message accusing me of damaging an elephant statue, which was not true. Fortunately, I found a photo I had taken upon arrival that clearly showed the statue was already damaged. Despite this, they withheld part of my security deposit.
They charged me $50 for this cheap elephant statue seemed excessive. I raised a complaint, but they never responded.
Another negative experience was that the heating system was disabled upon arrival. The room temperature was only 9°C, making the house freezing cold. It took an entire day before the temperature became comfortable.
I strongly recommend taking photos of all items, including furniture, appliances, and decorations, as they do not seem honest or trustworthy.

It was minus one Celsius and heater was not working not until someone that was knowledgeable. Recommended to do something to make the heater work is when the house finally got warmed up. Also requested for a 30 minute late check out and they were very unsensitive about late check out. Also, maybe they need to do some deep cleaning in the refrigerator where there was mold growing in the corner of the showers as well.

- Acacia (8/5): Very good - The house was very nice and the beds were clean and comfortable. It was very conveniently located and Lake Ontario was just a short walk away. I would definitely stay again. The refrigerator was iced over on the inside when we got there. When we started putting groceries inside the ice began melting all over the kitchen floor and the fridge was not holding temp. I let the staff know about it but other than asking for pictures they never sent anyone out to take care of the issue.

- Andrzej (10/5): Exceptional - Lots of space to accommodate 8 people, and even 10 if needed. We love cooking our own food when possible, and there was everything for that, and even barbecue. Feeling like you are at home, cozy and relaxing, and jacuzzi is definitely beneficial. The house needs some updates.
- Judy (6/5): Nice home for whole families. - We wanted to stay at a place that we can do day trips to Vancouver and Niagara Falls. This location is perfect! It is very well equipped but I think it is in the middle of a sale so the grass is overgrown and some equipment like the door knobs, the aircon, the clips covering the hot tub and ice inside the fridge and wifi are not working.
But it is easy to contact the team and items are rectified as much as they can without disturbing us. We only stayed 3 days so it was pleasant. I had my in-laws so elderly folks are more picky on cleanliness or items working so I had to email the items of things not working and the team helped us to check on them.
My husband and I are more concerned of the convenience and location. It seems to be in a safe and nice neighbourhood too.
Kids just need a working wifi and as long as that works (about 70% of the time) they are satisfied.

- Jason (8/5): perfect location to visit Hamilton or Niagara. - easy access to the property with very clear directions. The rooms were clean and very spacious. lots of room on all floors to relax. The gym was very clean and we were able to relax in the sauna afterward. Only minor issues with the BBQ trying to light. Everything else was as advertised.

- Carole (1/5): Don't be fooled by the published photos, we don't see the dirt and inconvenience. - NOTHING DO NOT RENT ANY HOUSE FROM GLOBAL STAY, very poor service and unclean houses and look at the other reviews and you will see we are not the only ones.
We rent 2 houses from August 14th - 21st, 2023 and both houses have the same issues:
The check-in process is complicated
The 2 houses are extremely dirty with dirty dishes
Bugs in both houses
Unkempt yards
Air conditioning not working
Cold water in hot tubs
Sheets hanging out in the dryer, not rammed
and worst of all, the 2 houses have leaky roofs on the 2nd floor with musty smells.
We clearly made the deduction that this company doesn't clean their houses well and that it's not an oversight on the part of the maintenance person to have cleaned a house badly, it's a very low standard for cleaning, maintenance of the house and their appliance, VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. Don't be fooled by the published photos, we don't see the dirt and inconvenience.
After 24 hours we had had enough, we had no other choice, we looked for another place to stay as this house was no longer safe for us. We found hotel rooms for the next day, so we slept another night of anguish in this house.
Following our departure, I sent several emails with claims and requests for refunds, with no response for days. Then I received an e-mail from a manager informing me that we had done damage to the houses concerned. They deducted a cleaning fee for the couch and carpet from our $500.00 deposit that we had made for one of the houses. It took 14 days for them to reply that we had done damage ?? The couch and carpet were already dirty when the occupants arrived and they dared to say that we were responsible.
We now have to go to court to claim a refund.

- Simonia (7/5): It was a short stay because of the circumstances. I would definitely like to return in the future. - The home was beautiful , the emenities was great. We found everything we needed to our disposal . On May 12th when we checked in the A.C. was not working, we called the host to communicate that it was broken, they tried TROUBLE SHOOTING the problem but nothing worked. We went to bed that night with no A.C. This was very stressful because we were traveling to Canada for my Dad’s funeral. MY RECOMMENDATION would be to have portable air conditioners in the apartment or ceiling fans to keep the guests cool if there was an issue in the future with the AC. The problem was resolved the following day while we were out.
