- Valentina (1/5): Scary. We thought the deranged guy living next door would hurt us. - It's unsafe and kind of a dump. This unit shares a wall with the unit next to it, they were probably one house at some point. The night we arrived we started hearing loud banging on the wall. My partner heard the man next door retching and screaming "You are all gonna die". The following nights, we were woken up at 4 or 5 in the morning by the banging, which shook the whole house. Then again stomping in the evening, with the sound of the wall crumbling. One morning at 6am the man woke up and screamed from his balcony various racial slurs against black and Mexican people saying "Commit suicide". This was our Christmas. My friend came from Europe to West Hollywood for this? On the 24th of December Booking told us to wait 48 hours to hear from the property manager. We left early. The house was kinda dirty, we got only 3 rolls of toilet paper, the vent in the downstairs bathroom was as noisy as a truck, no kitchen towels, and barely anything in the kitchen to cook. When we left we noticed the guy next door had a white supremacist flag hanging on the window and he looked at us from the blinds. Stuff from a horror movie.
