From the pool and the outdoor living area, to simple thoughtful touches such as knitted blankets on the couch and design books. The lights around the pool are lovely. The mattress was so comfortable that I am buying the same one for my home. I slept really well. The house is clean and functional. The hosts were lovely and so are the neighbours. Absolutely would stay here again. It was nice to use the indoor fire place. A very comfortable, family friendly place to stay. Grateful to find a pet friendly place for my family too. Everything was great.

Pool was beautiful and the outdoor area was a great place to sit and read The stairs are very steep and narrow and there are no pics of them on the ad. Aside from that everything was wonderful
• Maree (9/5): Thank you, we did thoroughly enjoy our time at your place and we loved we could bring our little pooch along! Very famil - It was spacious and home like! The pool was great, perhaps a bit on the murky side. Plus for oldies and adults with bad knees etc a hand rail to help get in and out of the pool may help. Also, with regard to hand rails maybe a tiny one at the bottom of the staircase would be more secure also.

• Bree julie (10/5): - Great quiet neighbourhood, 300 m walk to the shops or bowling club which is set on the water. Lots of beds and 2 loungrooms which was great for the kids. Awesome kitchen and amenities. The pool was perfect for the kids with space to play handball and some other ball games :) Bbq was amazing with a large outdoor table to have my family reunion up by the pool. So much to love. There wasnt anything i didnt like.

• Alexandra (10/5): A home away from home - We loved the location, only minutes to a great selection of shops, activities, and glorious views. The home felt so welcoming, comfortable, and cosy, with everything we could have wanted for our stay. The bathroom was a great size, lovely and warm. I couldn't believe how long the hot water lasted, comfortably accommodating 5 teenage boys and myself without even a hint of cooling down! The kitchen was clean and spacious, having all the utensils and cookware you could possibly need. The fridge/freezer was definitely big enough to fit all the food that 5 ravenous teen boys "needed" to consume. It was also fantastic to be supplied with such large bins, in comparison to most places that have little dustbins that need emptying after every meal prep. The beds were all super comfy, so the boys had no need to argue over who was sleeping in which one. The linen supplied was abundant, clean, crisp, and smelled amazing. The heating options were also great; the split-system aircon upstairs made the whole upper level super warm and toasty easily within half an hour of switching it on. The fireplace downstairs was wonderful and the hosts had left such a huge supply of wood. We had it roaring in no time. Thank you so very much for your hospitality. We'll definitely be looking to stay again in the future, if we head back up that way. Nothing!

• Leeanne (1/5): Worse Experience ever. Over priced, pests and unclean and not - Nothing. It was not what was advertised. The photos are not the same as the demolition site. Not in any way the way it is shown in photos. Cold Bathrooms The downstairs toilet and bathroom were uncomfortably cold, and when the upstairs shower was in use, there was insufficient hot water for both showers. Additionally, the fixtures in the outdoor bathroom showed significant rust. Fridge Condition The fridge door handle was stained, appearing to have been fixed previously, and there was rust at the bottom of the door. Linens We noticed marks on the bath face washer and towel that looked like blood stains, which was quite off-putting. Pest Issues The presence of cockroaches in the kitchen was concerning and should be addressed. Unattractive Garbage Disposal The kitchen bins were unattractive, as they were situated outside and did not complement the property. Renovation Status The home appeared to be in the middle of renovations, with an upstairs layout that felt like a makeshift space, lacking in privacy due to partitions instead of proper walls. Heating Challenges The house was very cold during our stay. We attempted to use the wood supplied for heating, but it was difficult to start as it was not seasoned and too green, resulting in a smoky experience. Thankfully, we sourced dry wood from my sister who lives nearby. Misleading Location While the property is advertised as being in Summerland Point, we later discovered it is actually in Gwandalan. This distance was inconvenient for us, as we were attending a 60th birthday party in Summerland Point, and the 3 km drive added unnecessary challenges for our group. Design of the Pole House The design of the pole house blocked our view of the TV, making it challenging to enjoy our time in the lounge area. Staircase There is a tight spiral like staircase that takes you up to all bedrooms and the only bathroom in the house. The staircase is very dangerous.
• Dulmini (10/5): Had a great time! - The hosts were super friendly. They even let us use the house before the booking time because we arrived early. They were super accommodating. They taught us how to use the fishing rods and gave us some recommendations on what to do and eat around the area. The pool was also great. We had a good time swimming around. Nothing really.

• Brian (7/5): A comfortable and quiet stay which was perfect for our needs. - We were welcomed with refreshments in the refrigerator, and the house was clean and comfortable. It had a nice pool, but we arrived late and it was stormy so we couldn't make full use of all the facilities, and then we left early the next morning, but it served our needs well. Access to the second bathroom wasn't easy, it meant going outside. The stairs to the second floor were steep and the first few stairs were difficult for seniors as they had no handrail until you turned the corner.
