- Gary (1/5): Very disappointing - The location I.e walking distance to restaurants, shops etc and the swimming pool Weren’t able to access after a long journey from the uk. The key box was rusty and unable to open. We called the provider no one came out and we were sent to another apartment in a different location which we also couldn’t access. We were advised to book into a hotel and they would refund us for Ubers and the hotel cost. We are still awaiting refund for the hotel and had to fight for the uber payment which we have just received. When we arrived at our accommodation the apartment door was broken and couldn’t close properly and the toilet seat was disgusting and unusable. The kitchen door handle was broken and the outside area had obviously not been cleaned or swept. The blinds needed cleaning. These were fixed quickly but meant we had to stay in the apartment whilst the repairs were completed. On the first morning at 7am building works/ drilling woke us up. This continued throughout our stay. We contacted the agent who said it was only temporary and would stop. However the notice in the main hallway of the accommodation stated that the building works would continue during our full stay and it appeared that those already living in the building were aware and in fact our neighbour wondered why this apartment had been rented out during this time.
