• Angela (10/5): Unser Aufenthalt war sehr schön,wir konnten perfekt entspannen. - Die Lage ist 50 mit vom Strand entfernt, man sieht aber schön auf den Atlantik. Sehr schön
• Louann (5/5): Séjour mitigé : emplacement idéal et massage excellent, mais logement mal entretenu - Le lit est confortable et l’appartement est proche de la mer. Nous avons réserver un massage et il était extra, je le recommandes Les équipements ne sont pas top. L’appartement est sale et les moustiques sont très présents. Malgré des moustiquaires, ils passent quand même car il y a des trous. Le premier soir, on a retrouvé un cafard dans notre salle de bain. La Wifi ne marche pas toujours.
• dalle (8/5): - endroit tres calme, tres proche de la plage, tres belle plage; mais loin de la ville, logeur serviable et dévoué l equipement des appartements est un peu vieillot: salle de bain non fermée dans un appartement (pas top quand 2 personnes non en couple); gaziniere defectueuse (fuite de gaz), bouilloire a changer, vaisselle disponible insuffisante il faut chaque fois 20e de taxi pour aller en ville aller retour car il n y a rien dans cet endroit pour manger le soir; un restaurant de plage tres bien pas loin mais ouvert que 2 fois le soir sur 7 cette semaine là;
• Beatriz (8/5): Peaceful and charming vacation - Frank is very friendly and kind! He ensured that we had everything we need! The bed is huge and very comfortable! The room also had a small kitchen with everything needed to cook. The location of the apartment is in a remote side of the island, so there is only one restaurant near by (all the shops are 9km away), but on the bright side the beach is great and 1 min walking , the garden by the apartment is lovely, so it is a perfect place if you are looking for peace and quiet. The location is super close to the beach but far away from everything else (you can check this on google maps). Every time you need groceries you need to go to town, it is 10€ if you catch a taxi, but Frank might give you a ride

• Nur Afiah (8/5): Tranquility and peaceful place with incredible host - Frank is amazing like everyone said! He arranged transportation for us who arrived at 4am via boat. Ensure our check in was smooth and had a drink and lovely chat with us the next day. Place was quiet and you can hear the sound of the ocean waves. Very peaceful and relax. Highly recommended. Location was secluded but this was what we wanted. Frank have properties in Sal Rei as well, so might be worth staying at both locations if you have time. It was windy throughout our stay but had there been better weather, I’m sure we will come back to stay longer.
• Ana Teresa (10/5): - La villa es muy bonita, en segunda linea de la playa de Chaves, una de las playas mas bonitas de Boa Vista. Queda como a 10-15 en coche de Sal Rei, la capital, y para trasladarse allí es necesario taxi o coche. Frank ha sido un excelente anfitrión. Su mujer tiene un restaurante en Sal rei y él nos reservó para cenar langosta, muy rico todo y a buen precio. La villa tiene todas las comodidades para una excelente estancia con barbacoa y cocina equipada, puedes hacerte un rico café por 1€ adicional y con una comunidad gatuna muy curiosa y amigable.

Frank, the owner, was very helpful and drove us into the nearby town for supplies. He was always very quick to respond to any queries. It wasn't possible to walk to a restaurant in the evening. There was one nearby but it was only occasionally open in the evening, though it was a nice place for lumch during the day.

• Arzu (8/5): spacious apartment, beautiful garden, and an unbeatable location just steps from the beach. - Our stay in Praia de Chaves was nice. The apartment was spacious, giving us plenty of room to relax. The balcony was especially nice, perfect for enjoying the fresh air. The garden was absolutely beautiful and adding to the calm and relaxing atmosphere of the place. One of the best parts of the stay was how close it was to the beach—just a short walk away, making it easy to enjoy Praia de Chaves every day. Frank is a very good Host. He is very welcoming and friendly, explained everything clearly before our arrival and made us feel comfortable. The pillows The kitchen needs renovating as it is quite run down and the utensils are very basic.
• Lisa (10/5): Außergewöhnlich - Unser Gastgeber Frank war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und hat uns sogar ein Upgrade gegeben. Die Terrasse mit Hängematte, Liegestühlen und Meerblick war ein echtes Highlight und perfekt zum Entspannen. Den wunderbar weitläufigen Strand erreicht man in 2 Minuten. Wir wären am liebsten gar nicht mehr abgereist.... Noch ein Tipp: Zum Einkaufen muss man sich ein Taxi nach Sal Rei nehmen (Kostenpunkt 10€ pro Strecke). Das sollte man mit einplanen.

Der Gastgeber Frank hat und herzlich in Empfang genommen und vieles zur Unterkunft und Möglichkeiten auf der Insel erklärt. Wir können die Beach-Villa zu 100% weiterempfehlen,

• Gloria (7/5): Estancia en Praia Chaves - El entorno es naturaleza pura Muy tranquilo Segunda línea de playa La comunicación con el dueño fue buena Nos alejamos en el estudio pero en realidad es una habitación con una mini cocina (no tiene extracción de humos y apenas se puede cocinar porque no hay espacio). La mesa está fuera (en la terraza) por lo que de noche apenas hay luz y si hace viento o llueve debes comer dentro y no hay donde hacerlo. No hay ningún supermercado cerca donde comprar nada, y la ciudad de Sal Rey está a varios kilómetros, por lo que tienes que ir en taxi y son 10! Ida y 10€ vuelta. Hay un chiringuito cerca donde puedes comer/cenar pero no siempre tiene un horario amplio ( la cocina cierra a las 16 horas) y es caro. La playa es maravillosa pero imposible el baño (bandera roja) así que tienes que ir a la del pueblo (20€ ) El taxista que nos recomendó el dueño para recogernos en el aeropuerto e ir/venir de Sal Reí el último día para ir al aeropuerto nos dejó tirados sin ninguna disculpa, tuvimos que caminar con nuestras mochilas hasta la carretera y parar a otro taxi.

• Sylvia (10/5): Schöne Unterkunft zwischen blühenden Pflanzen unweit vom Meer - Wer einen ruhigen und erholsamen Urlaub sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war sehr gut und jederzeit möglich. Die Lage der Unterkunft ist nicht weit vom kilometerlangen Sandstrand und Meer entfernt. Mit dem Taxi ist man schnell in Sal Rei. Dort gibt es genügend Restaurants bzw. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (falls man Selbstversorger sein möchte). Das Perola D Chaves (Strandrestaurant) ist fußläufig zu erreichen. Die Unterkunft war sauber und es war alles vorhanden, was gebraucht wurde. Wir können die Unterkunft weiterempfehlen und buchen bei unserem nächsten Boavista Aufenthalt wieder diese Unterkunft. -
• Daniel (10/5): Très bon séjour ! - Emplacement exceptionnel a deux pas d'une très longue plage. Frank notre hôte s'est occupé personnellement de nous ( 68 et 72 ans ) de notre arrivée a l'aéroport jusqu'à notre départ ou il nous a ramené sa l'issue d'un séjour de 15 jours . Nous avons loué une voiture pour nous déplacer librement en ville et visiter l'ile . La circulation en ville et sur les routes est très facile vu le peu de circulation . Le lotissement est très calme pour se reposer et on s'y sent complètement en sécurité . Un grand merci a Frank et Nara pour leur accueil . Nous avons diné en ville de très bons plats dans le restaurant de Nara.

Nous nous sommes bien reposés c'était agréable. Le lieu est secure. Le petit village est un peu isolé, il faut bien s'organiser pour optimiser les allers retours (taxi à 10 euros par trajet).
• Valentina (10/5): - No I had a wonderful stay at Beach Villa in Praia de Chaves. The Villa itself is beautiful – built with natural stone and wood, it blends perfectly with the surrounding nature. There’s a lovely patio where I could relax at any time of day, surrounded by lush plants and the sound of the ocean in the background. It felt like a little oasis. Frank was an amazing host – warm, welcoming, and always available. He made me feel truly at home from the very beginning. The location is unbeatable: right on one of the most stunning beaches of Boa Vista, in a quiet and safe area, just a few minutes from the airport and only 10 minutes from Sal Rei. Every morning, I enjoyed a rich and delicious breakfast in the patio. This place is perfect for anyone looking to disconnect, recharge, and enjoy the natural beauty of the island. Highly recommended!
• Nadia (9/5): Capo Verde, terra di contrasti, dove il deserto incontra l'oceano. Tutto il resto è rumore. - Posizione ottimale e colazione ricca e gustosa. Un piccolo paradiso tra le bellezze naturali dell'isola. L'appartamento "Coco" un piccolo gioiello da godere in solitaria o in coppia. tutto è stato perfetto così.

• Sonia (4/5): Rude and abusive. - La ubicación privilegiada frente al mar y las instalaciones modernas y limpias Todo el trato recibido. No hay recepción, solo un teléfono de WhatsApp en remoto de alguien bastante maleducado. Te exige que te recoja su taxi particular porque solo él tiene la llave de tu apartamento, cobrándote obviamente más del precio de tarifa estándar. Al indicarle que nosotras nos apañaríamos el transporte, el taxista llegó al apartamento con la llave como casi 2h más tarde. No contento con esto, nos indica que si queremos el AC en la habitación debemos pagar 10€/dia. WHAAT?! Abusivo. Y encima maleducado. No nos barrieron ningún día las hojas caídas en la terraza, y hay una plaga de gatos y perros descontrolada cuyas peleas se escuchan cada noche, y se intentan colar en el apartamento al mínimo descuido. No lo recomendaría .

• Iris (10/5): Just amazing! - It was so nice! Just perfect if you're looking for a beautiful and quiet place. Beautifully built and decorated, and comfortable cos not too big En well equipped. An amazing terrace, nice little kitchen... I did not like the pillows though... Direct acces to a peaceful beach where you can swim. The pillows...

• Ian (9/5): Great host and staff and very quiet property - The apartment is nicely decorated and the host Frank and his staff Marco were very friendly and helpful. Really glad I visited here. Frank gave me a great welcome and lots of information and advice about the islands of Cabo Verde. He also took me to his family restaurant in Sal Rei, where the food is handmade and very tasty. Thanks guys! I wish I had stayed for longer than 2 nights. Next time!
