- Sebastian (7/5): A lovely location that is close to town and right on the water. Property is not as private as it appears, with several s - Lovely location, right on the water and close proximity to Strahan. Small basic interior, with the main feature really being the couch and the view.

- Craig (10/5): Gorgeous shack on the bay - This is a gorgeous setting with harbour views and direct access to the water. The one bed shack is delightful. A beautiful view from the combined kitchen living dining area. Bedroom is nice. Bathroom is spacious and well cared for. We should have stayed longer. It’s not walking distance from Strahan, but we knew that. The setting and facilities more than compensate for its out of town location.

- Wayne (10/5): Exceptional - Location was superb, view from the combined lounge, dining, kitchen was beautiful looking out across lake Macquarie. Nothing. The spot was beautiful. Neighbours were friendly and all the roaming ducks were friendly and cute . Short drive into town. Lovely restaurants.

It was a shack, surrounded by roughly made old tin shacks…this was the worst accomodation during our stay in Tasmania. The area looked like a ghetto.

- Kathryn (9/5): Best accomodation in Strahan by a long shot. - Loved that it was just out of town and right on the waters edge. The view was fantastic and it was nice to sit outside listening to the water lap against the rocks. The local ducks were friendly and came for a morning feed, actually a feed when ever there was food about. The pillows on the bed were not the best (too flat and soft) and we ended up using the cushions as our pillows as they were firmer. Everyone has their own preferences and this was ours. Really this is all that I could fault. Would definitely recommend staying here than the other places in town (we checked them out when going for dinner)

- Sheridan (10/5): Wished we stayed longer! - What a beautiful spot. Absolutely loved it here, wish we had stayed longer. The friendly ducks, were great fun, we spent hours watching them. They even put the electric blanket on for us, had fresh flowers in the shack and bread and eggs. Highly recommend this cute, little slice of peaceful paradise. Nothing! Only minor thing is the remote for the TV didn’t want to work sometimes. But we didn’t care we watched the view.
