Guest Reviews
- Amy (8/5): - Location was perfect, the staff were friendly and very helpful. Apartment was clean and had everything you would need for a weekend away. Sofa bed wasn’t very comfortable
- Véro (8/5): - Bon emplacement
- Harriet (3/5): If you have a better option, take it - The location was decent. Told the host that we would arrive at 3pm which we did. We were sat in the lobby until 5pm waiting for her to show up. Once she finally arrived the room was not ready. We didn’t have bedding for the sofa bed, we had no towels and the washing from the previous stay was still in the machine. The sofa bed is awful. I assumed the reviews about it were dramatic but I struggled to sleep on it. We also paid an insane amount but it was Aus GP week so that’s more understandable.
- Neha (7/5): Overall, it was a good stay. It’s a great apartment if you’re after convenience, the best part was having the train stati - It’s in a great location, very close to the train and Spencer Mall. The bed and sofa bed were comfortable to sleep on, and it’s also close to many great food places. The fan was quite noisy, and I think the bathroom could benefit from some renovation. The washing machine and the drawer were also not very clean.
- Donna (10/5): Outstanding location, walkable from the train station and close to shopping. - Great location, close to the train and air bus. A short walk from Southern Cross station. Free tram just out the door of the complex. Pearl was easy to work with and very accommodating. The unit was clean with a comfortable bed and nice bedding. We would stay there again on a return visit. Pretty pool although the rain didn’t entice us to use it. We walked to the botanical gardens and shops. The Victoria market is a short tram ride away or a nice walk if the sun is out. Nothing I can think of

Excellent location
- Sandra (10/5): Can't get any better than this - I love this apartment I definitely will choose again It is a perfect area .The building is so beautiful and so clean. The tram is just at the entrance of the building, the supermarket everything is so close. The apartment is so comfy and has a beautiful balcony with a nice view and nice fresh air. In addition there is a Nespresso machine that I enjoy the most. I will definitely be coming back. The concierge was exceptional she helped me with my luggage and to settle into the apartment. Everything was perfect.Thevonly negative feedback is the fry pans and saucepans were so dirty of oily and black staff.
- Sue (8/5): Very good - Very comfortable Bathroom door didn’t close, bedroom a bit stuffy needed the door open
- Ben (9/5): Superb -
- Yoria (10/5): We'd definitely stay here again! - The best thing about this apartment is its excellent location and convenient transportation. We had a fantastic time exploring Melbourne CBD for several days, with all major stations within a 10-minute walk.
The in-room amenities, including a washing machine, dryer, and dishwashing liquid, were super handy—we used them almost every day!
Another highlight is the great soundproofing.
While we could hear children in the hallway, once the door was closed, we had our own quiet and peaceful space. Although the hot and cold water adjusted quickly, we noticed some minor issues with the showerhead and its holder upon arrival. However, they didn’t affect its usability.
Also, the apartment doesn’t have a separate air conditioner in the bedroom, but the main AC directly faces the living area and the doorway to the room. Plus, there’s a large fan inside, so we didn’t find it to be a problem.
The only real concern was that the bed linens didn’t seem very clean, as we experienced mild allergic reactions. However, after washing them, everything was much better.
- Lisa (7/5): Stay was good - admin process was not fun. - Great location, clean and tidy. The communications and checkin process was inconsistent and difficult. Received a multitude of messages after providing ID, payment and all details asked for. Felt suspicious being asked for same details over and over again - and then was asked for credit card details AGAIN after we had paid. Definitely not a smooth process with admin.

The staff were super respon - The property was in a great location, close to transport, shopping and entertainment venues. The staff were super responsive and helpful. The only thing that let the property down was the comfort level of the sofa bed we used. It was at times noisy (but that comes with the superb inner city location).
- Neilcarmichael (9/5): Great quality stay - The flat is very modern and comfortable. Ideal for a business traveller or holiday couple. I came late and the host made a special effort to meet me which was appreciated.
- Marc (1/5): Scammers or company with no safe procedure to deal with customer banking data - We did not enter the property so I cannot comment on how it looks.
The host is a "management company" called Maisonnets which asked us you sign a "rental agreement" online, stating that they require a deposit (which is forbidden by Booking rules but I did not know that). Then, they waited after the free cancelation period to ask for that deposit. They sent us a Google form asking to input all our credit card data (name and all the numbers) which is completely unsecure and would let them use our credit card to shop online. They assured us that "only the head of operations" would be able to access the data. We immediately asked for a cancelation with full refund, which they refused to provide because it was 2 days before our arrival. They stated that they were not asking for anything more than a regular hotel. Except that regular hotels do not process deposits through unsecured Google forms.
We refused to provide the deposit through unsecure means, so we had to make another booking in another hotel. As we are writing this, we have not being paid back anything from that booking. We strongly suggest going to another hotel, there are a lot in the neighbourhood.
EDIT: to answer the comment left by the host.
First, they managed to misspell my first name in their comment.
We did sign the rental agreement mentioning the deposit. We had no problem giving a deposit. But it said nowhere the deposit would be asked through unsecured Google forms where I would have to send my credit card numbers without encryption. Even better: it is against terms of service of Google forms to use them to ask banking information.
Host keeps saying this is what hotels do. It is not. Hotels do no write down on a excel sheet your credit card numbers to take a security deposit.
We sent picture of our IDs, host is lying on that.
They did not issue a partial refund, they paid back the cleaning fee which was not used because we did not use the property.
- Linda (9/5): Enjoyable, great location. - The property was clean and tidy and had everything we needed for our short stay. It was quiet and great to have a balcony. The pool and gym facilities were excellent. Great location with a tram stop close by.
- Afra (9/5): Superb - Everything was wonderful. The location, the service, and the place itself. However, it was a bit uncleaned.
- Jane (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bipin (10/5): It was a great location, easy to commute around town. - Julia and Volkan very helpful We could have done with extra set of towels.
