• Leigh (10/5): A wonderful family getaway to Manitowaning Bay - We thought the suite was spacious and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities we needed. The beds were very comfortable and we appreciated the a/c unit when it got a bit muggy outside. The view of Manitowaning Bay from our private deck was fantastic (gorgeous sunsets each night), and we enjoyed our swim at the dock. Nothing - it was all great!

• Elizabeth (10/5): A home away from home - The cottage was very clean, bright, and decorated beautifully. I would definitely recommend this to anyone staying on the island. There wasn't anything we didn't like. There wasn't an iron in the cottage, but the host went out of her way to ensure I had one in time for my function.

• Karen (1/5): Be forewarned that the owner can change her policies and ask you to cancel - Be prepared for a last minute message asking you to cancel your reservation. I booked and paid more than 4 months in advance and less than 3 days before arriving, received a message in-app that I had to cancel it as it was not in line with the owner’s (Melissa's) policies AND that this was the fault of the booking platform. She would not accept any responsibility for this unprofessional behaviour. I was already en route (more than 5 days into travel) and replied in-app, but she did not return the courtesy. I ended up calling the property and upon speaking to Melissa, it turns out that there was no empathy that this booking was made well in advance , we were already en route and had ferry tickets booked (hence the choice of accommodation) and that I had already paid at the time of booking. If we had arrived, the booking would NOT have been honoured and we would have been denied entry. So I had to find other accommodations at the last minute (unforeseen costs) for that night. When I asked why this was not resolved earlier, she would only say, "I'm sorry you feel that way. That's my policy." and then she hung up.

• Sandra (10/5): Perfect Modern Retreat - This is a self contained apartment in a brand new 4-plex overlooking the lake on the eastern side of Manitoulin Island. Melissa met us on arrival and was very helpful. We cooked most of our breakfast and dinners in the beautiful modern kitchen that had everything we needed. The two bedrooms were a bonus with comfortable mattresses, pillows and linens. Sunsets were beautiful from the large deck. Also included a great BBQ. There are steps leading down to the beach and dock. We used the property to explore and hike Manitoulin Island. and would definitely return. It was all great!
• Stone (8/5): Had we known there wasn't any A/C hooked up yet, we would have booked elsewhere. - Cleanliness, beautiful new apartment. Gorgeous sunsets. Noise from main road and constant ATV's up and down the road. Lack of chairs on deck (only 2 and we were a party of 4) never rcvd 2 more after owner said we would) working A/C would have dulled the outside noise. Could have used mixing bowls in kitchen.
• Mohammad (9/5): In total we really loved it and thinking of returning there next year. - The suite was super clean and all appliances were new. Very close to beach. Full kitchen was a plus, even though we didn’t cook. Perfect view of the lake from the balcony. Our suite was supposed to have a fireplace, but it didn’t have any. The refrigerator was a bit noisy, specially during the night. The walls and windows were not fully soundproof, as we were able to clearly hear the cars driving by.

• Eleanor (8/5): Very good - A very good spot to stay for a family trip to Manitoulin! The location by the lake is beautiful with access to a lovely shared dock and beach that is perfect for kids. There is also access to outdoor space including picnic tables and fire pits. The apartments are brand new with fully equipped kitchens and comfortable beds. When we ran into an issue during our stay, the owner was very responsive via text message and prompt to remedy the issue.
• Tammy (9/5): Tammy M. - The apartment itself is brand new as is the building.It was clean,comfortable and had everything we needed.Parts of it were still unfinished.Many of the doors need to be refitted. The only minor complaints I have would be it was very noisy,right next to the road.The other we got a strong smell from the septic now and then but it wasnt constant.The stairs going down to the water were easier then going down the road and tgere wasnt a kettle.All in all it was a great accomodation,about half hour from the ferry..

• Vicky (10/5): I will be back - The view, the beautiful 2 bedroom was so brand new, comfy beds, amazing ambiance and super quiet. I could not hear the family beside us. It needed a bit more carpeting as the cement floors kept me cold
