• Natalie (10/5): Lovely stay in Paris - Beautiful building in a fabulous location, close to the river. The room was comfortable and the showering facilities were good. Was very grateful for the air conditioning during the heatwave! Complimentary tea and cake is provided at reception every day - which is a lovely touch. Staff were pleasant. The only suggested improvement would be to have fresh fruit available at breakfast. The fruit salad / seasonal fruit on offer were rotting and not very nice. The croissants and eggs were very nice though.

I had contacted the staff several times before my visit to request several things as the trip was part of a special birthday for my sister. On each occasion the staff got back to me straight away and were able to accommodate my requests. They even upgraded our room when we arrived. The hotel is very clean and comfortable and is in the perfect location for exploring the area which is beautiful.

We had to creative with storage and the shower needed a deep clean, but overall a great little hotel in an ideal, quiet location! Shower needed a deep clean. • John (8/5): Enjoyable but pricey one-nighter cashes in on amazing location. - Splendid location to visit Notre Dame Cathedral and Saint Chappelle, view the Seine, get into the Paris vibe. The hotel is quaint and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable and bilingual. The rooms are very small; it's difficult to store one suitcase never mind two. Quite livable for a short stay. It's also difficult to use the small elevator for luggage transport.

The ladies serving breakfast were so concerned to meet all our needs. They remembered us and our preferences. We loved being on the Isle St Louise. As older people we didn’t feel safe in the shower. We were worried about falling. Two suggestions would be to install rough strips on the bottom of the tub to make it less slippery and a grab bar on the back wall to have something to hang onto getting in and out.

• Kristy (10/5): This apartment was.highlight of our trip - The apartment was truly exceptional! Many times rentals look better in pictures but this one is so much better in person! Every detail was so Intentional, our kitchen has fresh flowers, delicious cookies, water in the fridge… the furnishings were all very comfortable, it even smelled amazing due to high quality diffusers. The bath products were lux, the location PERFECT, the decor was so fun and stylish while still keeping the historic elements that make the building feel so special. We didn’t want to leave, there were so many thoughtful design choices and products that made me smile. This place is special. There is nothing to not like but do be aware there are a good bit of stairs to carry luggage up, we probably should have packed a bit lighter. But the front door opens to the street and has a private door which is so nice

The bed was extremely comfortable, which made a big difference after long days exploring the city. The location is fantastic, making it easy to walk to many of the main attractions while still being in a მშვიდ and charming area. Although the building dates back to the 17th century, it is beautifully renovated and very well maintained. Everything felt clean, cozy, and full of character. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and I would definitely come back. The only thing I didn’t really like was the shower. Because of the water pressure, the stream comes out a bit misty, almost like a spray. It’s not a big issue at all — it’s definitely not bad — just not quite my personal preference.

The comfort was outstanding, especially the bed — spacious, cozy, and incredibly inviting after a long day exploring. Everything was impeccably clean and well-organized, which made the experience even more relaxing. We also loved the thoughtful touches, like the complimentary chocolate and jam, which made us feel genuinely welcomed. The bed linens and towels were exceptionally soft and pleasant to the touch, adding a luxurious feel to our stay. The heating system worked perfectly, keeping the room warm and comfortable at all times. Another highlight was the window with double insulation, which ensured complete silence and a peaceful night’s sleep despite being in such a vibrant city. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we would absolutely stay there again. While our stay was overall wonderful, there are a couple of small points worth mentioning. The room size might be considered compact by some, but honestly, it didn’t bother us at all. The space was very well organized, and we never felt uncomfortable. We were also aware in advance that the building dates back to the 17th century, so this felt completely in line with its character. In fact, it was quite special to imagine how many people have passed through over the years and to appreciate the history reflected in the construction style and materials. The only aspect we truly didn’t enjoy was the shower. The water pressure and flow made it less comfortable for bathing, as it seemed to overly restrict the water, which affected the overall experience. Aside from that, everything else was absolutely wonderful, and we had a lovely stay.

• Claire (8/5): Perfect! - The location was perfect! 5 minutes walk to Notre Dame; 8 minutes into the Marais and 10 minutes walk to the Latin Quarter. The breakfast was fantastic; tea and cake free on the lobby in the afternoon; huge selection of restaurants on the doorstep. A gorgeous area and 15 to walk to the Vedettes boat trip at the Pont Neuf. Staff were fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. There was a kettle in the room which can be unusual in Paris . The room was on the small side but you’re on Isle Saint Louis! really clean and super comfy with a lovely bathroom . Short walk to Metro. Nothing!

• PETER (10/5): An ideal hotel for a an anniversary in the centre of historic Paris - We have stayed at the Hotel des Deux Iles several times over very many years and it never disappoints. In a historic building with beamed rooms it has lots of ambience, yet facilities are clean and modern with comfortable beds. The staff cannot be faulted; warm and welcoming and ever-helpful. (Afternoon tea and coffee in the lounge are a nice touch.) The location is perfect; central for tourism - the Left Bank and the Marais are a ten-minute walk away and Notre Dame and Sainte Chapelle even closer. The Ile St Louis is almost traffic-free and quiet at night with an excellent selection of restaurants and a real feel of old Paris. Nothing

Gezellige en veilige buurt met veel eetgelegenheden. Als we dan toch iets mogen aanmerken: we misten rekjes in de badkamer. Een kleine tabouret zou praktisch zijn (weg te schuiven onder de lavabo).

• Daniel (10/5): A Wonderful Boutique Hotel Away from the Madness of the Busy Tourist Areas of Paris - This boutique hotel is located between Arr. 4 and 5 on Île Saint-Louis walking distance from the Pont Marie metro station, making it the perfect home base for your adventures in one of the oldest parts of Paris. Just steps from other hotels that are 1500€ a night or more; Hotel Hotel des Deux-Iles represents a great value. All 4 team members that worked during my stay were kind and helpful. The smaller rooms are perfect for single travellers and young couples on their first trip to Paris. There is a wondeful selection of resturants on the island a short walk from this hotel. Great options include a few creperies, a fromagerie, a wine bar, Italian resturants (Sorza, Le P'tit Bossu, L'Isola Pucceria, Le Paradiso), Vietnamese (Ha Noi 1988), coffee shops and my personal favorite Le Saint Regis (a traditional French cafe and bar that is open for for brunch, dinner or open late for drinks and food that faces Notre Dame). The quaint lounge attached to the lobby is a relaxing place to get a glass of wine or champagne as you plan your next Parisian adventure. Each day in the lounge ˜they have breakfast, afternoon tea and a complimentary local cake or pastry. There wasn't anything I didn't like. I would only mention that since this is a historic building in one of Paris oldest areas, that elevators and stairs are on the small side. For some travellers, this may be a concern.
• CLARE (10/5): Fantastic location, quiet and lovely. - Fantastic location, quiet hotel, very clean and lovely staff. They provide a free coffee, tea and cake offering every afternoon and it is such a nice touch. Rooms are small but expected this in central Paris in a boutique type hotel.

• Robert (10/5): - Der Service war außergewöhnlich freundlich und zuvorkommend. Man hat sich direkt wohl- und willkommen gefühlt. Das Zimmer war sehr gemütlich und verfügte über einen privaten Innenhof. Das Bett war so super bequem, dass wir am liebsten viel länger darin geblieben wären. Es war einfach alles super.
• Alexandra (8/5): - Bem localizado. O pequeno almoço é mais do que suficiente, e têm a gentileza de nos servir à mesa. Os quartos são limpos e aconchegantes. Não temos grande receção de telemóvel e o wi-fi também não é muito fiável nos quartos.

• jeff (10/5): lovely hotel, amazing staff, and one of my favorite places anywhere in the world to stay! - everything about this hotel is absolutely perfect. This was my third time staying, and I would never stay anywhere else!

Les Cham Les chambres sont petites mais très propres. Décoration simple et efficace. Il y a un salon à l’accueil, où “ le Tea time “ est servi. Le petit déjeuner est superbe. Le personnel est hyper accueillant et agréable.
