• Liv (8/5): Central, fab view, comfortable stay. - The view was really amazing. The bed was comfortable with two different types of pillows. The kitchen seemed to have the basics...i didn't use it at all. The shower was good with pump wash, shampoo and conditioner. The AC was great! I saw someone had commented on the curtains not meeting. The owners have put new curtains in that have loads of room to completely shut. Being so far up, it was really quiet. I heard no noise from next door or above. Nowhere to leave my bag before check in. Before collecting the key, I had to wait for someone to leave to get in to see if I could leave my bag. The key in the lock was sticky/difficult. I needed an iron.

Really good communication was greatly appreciated especially with a late check in. The fridge and the toilet was clean. The amenities in the shower like the conditioner wasn’t refilled but empty. Small improvements. But great stay over all.

The reception staff at imagine lighthouse were not friendly, but the owners - Perfect location, amazing apartment with kitchen and washing machine & dryer. Incredible view, breathtaking at night time! So close to everything, best! A queen bed would be nice in this apartment, especially if adults are staying! :)

The whole apartment was beautifully decorated and very clean. The coffee was machine was a fabulous plus. we very much enjoyed our stay. Such a cosy place. Loved it The only thing I would say is that some milk and sugar for our coffee would have been good. But otherwise no complaints at all! Our whole experience was superb and the host was great!

• Andy (10/5): - I checked the reviews for the actual hotel itself just before travelling down & saw a fair few negative reviews for the hotel, so was a bit worried about what i was waking into but cant fault my stay at all. The room was immaculately clean, well stocked and presented. Really enjoyed my short stay and cant recommend highly enough. Would return again anytime. Was all good.

• Tim (9/5): Mesmerising Night Time View & Close to Yummy Food - Location was terrific - close to the tram, supermarkets, many restaurants and in a very vibrant area. The view was fabulous. Apartment was clean & tidy. Lifts in this 69-floor building were super fast. We arrived 1:30am, a few hours delayed due to a flight delay. The access instructions were not clear on how to gain entry to the building at this late hour. We had to wait until someone exited the building & "sneak in" through the open front security doors. Collecting the keys was 100% no problem once we had entered the building.

• AMP (8/5): Un lujo de apartamento - Las vistas desde el apartamento son espectaculares. Además, el apartamento está sumamente cuidado y decorado al detalle. Xuan Yan fue amabilísimo y respondió con rapidez a las dudas que me surgieron. Un lugar que repetiré sin duda si regreso a Melbourne. El cristal de la cocina da mal rollo, parece un espejo bidireccional como los de los interrogatorios de las películas y es un poco inquietante.

• George (10/5): Beautiful, beautiful view, and an awesome hotel room to boot. - The view was incredible, as someone who has never had a 'sky' room in a hotel before. Everything was well kept, cleaned and organized, and the room owner was quick to assist me when I needed it. A fun tidbit as well, the kettle was the exact same one that I used to use when I was in the Netherlands for two years, so that was a bit of a nostalgic tug on my heart. The hotel itself (room aside) is pretty decent, unfortunately if there's any issues with the room (e.g. you accidentally leave something behind when checking out) the staff will *not* be able to assist you, so you need to make sure to have everything with you when you leave, otherwise you'll need to wait for the room owner to arrive and retrieve your belongings.

The facilities are as described with all you need for a comfortable stay. Nil - and for those whinging about no TV reception etc … check your privilege! I’m sure those in Ukraine or Gaza aren’t worried about such trifling matters!

• Keith (8/5): Great view fix tv computer bed - The view was some thing you would die for amazing, very comfy bed great place We got to room , only to find out tv would not pick up any channels , for 4 hours we spent buying things to fix the problem and $70 spent only got couple channels to watch this can be fixed changing doom around to use aerial point on other wall , door didnt lock and had to leave key on table so place was left open when we left

Loads of food options available in surrounding streets and so close to public transport, Woolies & ALDI for supplies. Clear communication & instructions from host. Would definitely return. Good size TV for watching Netflix. Bathroom very good with all the amenities you would need. Has a washing machine and dryer if you were staying for a longer period. The apartment felt homely which was so nice. Very quiet. Comfortable bed and pillows. Great sports Bar and Restaurant with Happy Hour called Kicks in the same building 2nd floor on Elizabeth St. On reaching the Apartment you can't just walk in off the street you have to wait when one of the tenants or guest leave or return to the hotel. You can't checkin at the counter when you arrive they advised us to ring the number on our booking.com app to contact the owner which we did. We arrived early and had to wait for the room to be cleaned, which was ok a young guy asian came down and gave us our key to the apartment and instructions to leave the key on the table when checkin out, which then means you can't lock the apartment. The apartment needs a deep clean as it had finger marks on all cupboards in the kitchen area and internal doors. There were food crumbs under the oven we noticed these when we sat down to watch TV. There are NO TV channels to watch, I checked the back of the TV no Ariel attached. You can watch streaming channels in you have accounts. The owner needs to replace the curtains as they don't fit the windows in the bedroom quite a big gap to let the sun in early in the morning they there NOT blackout curtains. NO milk to make tea or coffee which the owner supplies and NO dish cloth only a tea towel, these two complaints need to be fixed ASAP by the owner. We like to leave the apartments we stay in clean and tidy, so we didn't have anything to drink during our stay, only our own water.

• Jutta (9/5): A great place to stay in Melbourne! - Perfect place for singles or a couple with stunning views, all you might need appliance wise provided and a host who quickly responded to my inquiries. Restaurants, shopping and Victoria Market in the immediate vicinity and Finder‘s Street station an easy walk away. Despite the busy area we had a very quiet night there Like some guests before us we noticed the drapes in the bedroom don’t close all the way but we‘d definitely stay here again and can highly recommend it

• Geordee (9/5): 10/10 would stay again - the view was stunning and incredible we spent a good few hours pointing out things in the city we recognized and were surprised about. the apartment was beautiful with everything we needed save for food which was close to everything we needed anyway and going to get food was no issue. there were only three things we had issues with one of the lights didnt work. the curtains in the bedroom didn't go all the way across and let in considerable amounts of light. the salt grinder was impossible to use while it's high quality it's impractical.
