Alofa (10/5): Home away from home - I loved how spacious and open planned the apartment was ! Great location and amazing views with the double balcony’s. One side I got to see all the scenery and hotels and main caville avenue and the other side was all ocean, so beautiful !! Main bedroom ensuite needed a plumber as the shower as it flooded quite fasts due to blockage in the drain.
Rebecca (4/5): Overpriced, terrible management but nice clean resort, owners should find a better management option - Resort was very clean, facilities are lovely. Onsite manager was friendly. Great location near the heart of Surfers Paradise. Room had been recently renovated. We paid a lot of money for a three bedroom apartment, with ocean views so that we could watch the Pacific Air Show. We had very restricted and limited view of the ocean/waterfront and ended up watching from the downstairs pool area. I called Q Stays (offsite management company) during office hours, no one answered and I left a message, no one ever called back. I emailed about my legitimate concerns and all I got back was a standard email saying the views were adequately represented by the photos. They are not by the way, curtains have been staged so you can't see the big buildings blocking the view. The room itself is cheaply furnished, no ice tray or jug for water, very limited cooking utensils, uncomfortable bed and cheap TV. Aerial cable runs through the middle of the lounge room and not even taped down. All of which is fine if you are not paying over $1600 a night like we were, even with the air show premium it is still overpriced.
Scott (6/5): Pleasant - Location was excellent Beds were very uncomfortable and needed more blankets or quilts. TV would not show local tv channels nor able to cast modern apps. Wasn’t even able to download streaming apps other than Netflix. Bedroom storage was limited by room configuration. Not major but annoying on a long stay.
