Guest Reviews
- Emma (8/5): Very good - Good facilities. Good access to public transport. Good for a short stay in London. The main bed wasn’t very comfortable but the second bed was lovely. Slightly cold in the main bedroom but plenty of blankets were provided. Overall lovely though.
- Jamie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Phillip (2/5): Owners could spend $300 and make the room 10x better, but seems they are only worried about profit versus comfortablilty - Near the train station. The pictures are extremely deceiving, the photos on the booking make the property look modernized and updated. But arriving to the location you will notice that the entire booking was a lie, it’s fairly small (even though the photos make it seem large(ish), the only door that locks is the front door (if you can say that). It is advertised the location has WiFi, but upon arrival we found the WiFi box but the password had been changed and no where in the room was their directions on how to connect. Attempted to make contact with the landlord/owner but didn’t hear back from them until about 4 hours later regarding the WiFi and even then didn’t get the WiFi password. The beds were 4inch mattresses with springs that were busted so every time you moved the springs would pop. The walls are so thin we could hear the neighbors next to us and above us talking/shouting, along with hearing foot stomping up and down the hallways. The blinds for the windows were almost nonexistent, so thin even the dimmest flashlight would’ve came through them. The location of the room itself is in low income housing so the surrounding area doesn’t feel the safest.
Would not recommend this spot to anyone who has children or was wanting to be comfortable in their room. Would recommend if you are literally using this room as a spot to sleep after you hit the pubs all night and you needed a ****hole to sleep in.
- Mark (8/5): Really good place. Nice and easy to get to and good for a short trip to London. Bit pricey. - Location Shower water pressure.
- Darren (1/5): Awful never ever would I book here again. Pictures definitely not why it’s like - Do not book here. It is the worst place I have ever stayed!!! By far. Tv don’t work beds not clean and very uncomfortable. Did not sleep at all There is not 1 good point about this property worst night ever. No sleep at all
- Cinque (5/5): Some attention to detail could have made it a better experience. - Each bedroom had a television, both were not connected to an aerial nor to wi-fi, therefore it was not possible to watch TV. The host new we had two children, some TV to entertain the children would have been appreciated. The balcony (not a terrace as advertised) had empty beer bottles, bikes and other clutter - not expected to find.
- Talita (4/5): . - I liked the location, close to the station and work. uncomfortable beds and pillows, no proper curtains, terrible shower, no water coming out properly, bathtub curtains in deplorable condition
- Nancy (9/5): Superb - It's spacious and family friendly.
- Carol (8/5): Very good -
- Raffaella (10/5): Perfect quiet and cozy location in southwark - Near to shops, tower and London bridge, good pubs, bus and tube station. Quiet, comfortable. Amazing Nothing
- Heather (9/5): Superb -
- Alesha (4/5): I would not recommend this property unless you are on a very limited budget. - Location was fairly central but within a low income apartment complex which was not ideal for a family Cleaner was not finished until 6pm (although previous guest was an unexpected late checkout), property was not well cleaned, ie. oven was dirty, rubbish under beds etc
- Kk (7/5): Good - The room were quite big for London standard. The apartment had a bedroom and a lounge that had a 2nd bed. A small kitchen and bath room. The kitchen had all the cutlery that was needed (probably a non stick frying pan would be a good addition). The beds were relatively comfortable for the price paid. Wifi and iron and enough space in the xupboard for clothes. The location of the apartment seem a bit unsafe. The TV was not working although that was not even required. The mattress in the main bed room needs to be replaced.
- Oyinloye (5/5): Passable -
- Madina (10/5): Perfect deal for a family - Location, spaciousness, cleanness and responsive hosts There wasn’t parking right right next to the place
- Alica (10/5): Exceptional - The location was very good, we walked everyday to Tower Bridge. Everything in the apartment was nice and we had no problems. Communication with the host was superb and I really recommend staying here :) Price is a bit high, but I think its normal for London
- Olesea (5/5): Passable -
- Ronald (7/5): Close to Bermondsey Station, is cheap-ish but not my best stay... - Cheap but there is a reason for it... Curtains thin and didn't cover windows so light was in very early. Nothing you could do to stop that. No Netflix on tv so evenings were very quiet with my children. Luckily we brought board games but couldn't do Movie Nights.
Note the property is on a housing estate which some people might not like...
- Adriana (1/5): Host is lovely but flat is 0 out of 5 stars . - Location is great however it is flat on the council estate Mould ,stained beds ,overally I would say not the place to stay for more than 5 min.
- Chuck (8/5): Very good - Close to the subway station. Close to attractions. Nice clean room. Problem accessing wifi
- Marie (10/5): Perfect for a short stay in London - A real find! Great apartment about 5 minutes walk from Bermondsey tube station. Quite basic, but very clean and perfectly adequate for our one night in London.
- Malcolm (7/5): Good -
- Paula (10/5): Exceptional -
- Luc (9/5): Th host was super attentive and available. - The bed let me rest properly. Close to Sainsbury supermarket. A huge green park were there is a lot of people running and walking. I could walk to the major attractions.
