Guest Reviews
- Amanda (6/5): True cabin experience - The location was ultimately the best part as it was walkable to great attractions, food, and being tucked away in the forest we saw a lot of wildlife. The cabin itself was cozy and had everything we needed for our stay. The washroom was a separate building which was an interesting experience. Overall you can tell there was thought put into the place to make it a nice getaway location. The grounds surrounding the cabin had some garbage and exposed wires. The floors of the cabin weren't really swept clean when we arrived and there was underwear from someone else's previous stay on the ground behind a chair. There was also a sewage smell around the area in the early afternoon which we found out later was coming from a waste treatment site up the road. Overall it was a good stay and we enjoyed our time however, a nicer tidying up before we arrived would have been appreciated.

- Jaime (10/5): Was awesome would stay again - Super close to cultus Lake.
- creighton (10/5): Excellent - Fantastic Location.

- Tramutola (1/5): The host did the bare minimum and this place just a notch above camping. - It felt fairly secluded, with trees all around.
Nothing else that I can say was good. Not good for a stay other than summer.
No Lighting, no signage. Slippery and dangerous unlit slope from the parking spot to the cabin.
No top sheet on the bed, and the smell of fabric softener was overpowering Low quality bedding, pillows and uncomfortable mattress. The thinnest towels i have seen in my life. No coat hooks, or tea towels. No fireplace, as was advertised. A noisy fridge that kept me up at night. The wifi went out, so no TV or music on the 2nd day. No running water in cabin, yet no counter top in the outhouse washroom, forces the guest to place dishes on the concrete outhouse floor. I call it an outhouse, as there is no insulation and no heat and is drafty, and the flooring is concrete The walk to the outhouse is not under cover, and the path was janky. Trash (wrappers) left outside. No bedside lighting that worked.
The door locks with a padlock that is so high up a person needs to stand on a chair to reach it.
Absolutely do not book this place other than in summer! One star at best. I say this as a host with 6 years of superhost status with another platform, and someone with lots of budget travel experience.
- greenfield (10/5): Stayed for a few nights as part of our anniversary trip, it was a beautiful, cozy cabin and perfect for us! - It was so cozy and central to everything. They had everything we needed and the gazebo outside was perfect for some time in nature. Honestly the only thing is how steep the hill is to get down to the cabin. It was raining during our stay which made it slippery.

- Kamryn (6/5): Nice - Great location, close drive to the lake/waterpark/businesses. Great size cabin for two with a couch, and AC! Gives a good camping feel with beautiful views. We enjoyed our time The washroom is detached from the cabin and is a walk to get to. Cords and electrical spread across the yard with exposed plugs (seems unsafe). No full kitchen, nowhere to wash any dishes and bathroom sink is too small for it
- Ryan (10/5): Rarity at its finest - Absolutely amazing seclusion in a wooded area that makes you want to come back.
Everything you could want/need in a very short distance making you among the first to arrive at anything you're into.
Waking up to the brightly lit green surroundings by the sun is magical. Can't exactly say the bed was bad due to the activities at play but woke up broken ONLY to do it again which is fine as I would do it again and again.
- Boyes (10/5): Exceptional -
- Byran (10/5): Exceptional -
- James (9/5): Definitely would stay again, very homey & quite nice ! - Beautiful property, cute space & very cozy! Very easy to find! It was wet when we went, so getting down the hill to the property can be a bit slick
- Michelle (7/5): Cozy rustic - Location/private Bathroom/shower detached to cabin have to walk outside
- Augusta (4/5): Rustic Cabin in the Woods. - heating was good, the place warmed up quickly. No running water inside, but also no basin or detergent to wash dishes in. . Incomplete cutlery set, and the pillows on the bed were very flat.
- Chantelle (8/5): Very good - Beautiful and very quiet. Close to store ,pub , lake and golf course No running water in cabin, and alot of wires, extension cords , to me unsafe ectrical
- Tim (8/5): Excellent. Hope to book again next year at same time. -
- Nataliia (9/5): Superb -
- Kae (6/5): Pleasant - Good place to stay for those interested in the waterpark and lake! Place was clean, easy to find/access, host was very timely with responses. Could've used AC/fan for ventilation -- got quite hot during the day (especially since sunset was at 9). A couch would've been nice too.
- A.y.1234 (8/5): Very quite, central location to the lake and other towns, excellence heating, value for money. - We enjoy the brand new hot shower and toilet. Comfort bed. Lack of hooks to hang up clothings.
- Juanita (10/5): Exceptional - Everything, perfect location, amazing cabin setup, great utilities, most likely we will repeat Nothing, everything was exceptional
- Gord (7/5): Good - No breakfast
Room was clean tidy and inviting
Shower didn’t have hot water
