• Antonios (9/5): Great - I’ve stayed here before. So I knew what to expect. Love the location, love the vibes, love the staircase exercise routine. As per previous, didn’t like the pillows, also the towels have a smell to them, I imagine because they aren’t air dried.
• Sharon (5/5): - Nice apartment Cluttered with random stuff from other guests. On the sixth floor with no lift. Called the landlord from airport advised would meet us there in 30 minutes but after waiting an hour in freezing cold after long flight didn’t show. Eventually he gave us code for keysafe which he could have done in first place
• Antonios (9/5): Great - Fantastic location, amazing cafes all around, quite close to the metro, I personally enjoyed the stairs as I incorporated it, into my workout routine. The host is very friendly, very accommodating and helpful. The bed is hard, quite hard, but i didnt mind the firmness. I didnt like the bathroom, im generally not a fan of a very condensed shower/toilet situation. The pillows could also be better,

• Elsbeth (8/5): Knusse studio op een goede locatie in Shanghai. - De locatie is super. Midden in de gezellige oude wijk en omgeven door café’s en winkels. Het appartement heeft een knusse sfeer en een mooi uitzicht over de stad. Zoals al in andere reviews genoemd, is er geen lift en zij het veel trappen. Het appartement is dus niet voor iedereen geschikt. De aankomst in het ‘s avonds donker was onprettig, omdat de host er niet was en het erg moeilijk vindbaar was in het oude trappenhuis. Het appartement was ook niet erg schoon.

• Parbpraew (8/5): Best location, cheap price. - The location is exceptional! Just a few step to Huaihai road. Nanchang road has many nice shops, nice for a walk. I really love the neighborhood. Very close to many metro lines. The room is new despite being in an old building and it is clean. Good sunlight and nice view from the windows. It’s quiet at night. And the bed hardness is perfect for me. Owner is very helpful and responsive. The building is old and no elevator. I knew about it before I came so it’s not a problem but it’s not for everyone for sure. The building is old and quite dark at night, typical for old Shanghai buildings. People who are not familiar with Shanghai might be scared. But Shanghai is generally safe so don’t need to worry much.
• Gai Grigorovich (10/5): Wonderful. - I loved everything. The location is excellent. The metro is nearby. There are lots of cafes and shops around, and the area is beautiful. The apartment is very clean, has everything you need, hot water, and a comfortable bed. The view from the window is wonderful. Thanks a lot to Michael, he can help with many questions. It's not critical for us, even a plus, fitness :), the apartment is on the sixth floor, without an elevator.

• Stanislav Seroshtan (10/5): - Майкл! Если бы, не он, то я бы остался без сим карты и Ali Pay, только благодаря нему вся поездка удалась!!! При необходимости Майкл может пополнить счёт! Произвёл регистрацию по месту пребывания самостоятельно! Расположение, здание историческое, находится в таком же тематическом месте, места приёма пищи видно из окна, магазины (family mart, bakery, и т.д., продуктовые рынки. Ближайшая станция метро в 15 минутах ходьбы, рядом находится главная торговая улица района Французской концессии. Обязательно попробовать стоит баозцы в соседнем заведение за 2 Юаня. Здание, т.к. оно старое здесь отсутствует лифт, комната расположена на 6 этаже. В зимнее время холодно, из-за одинарных стеклопакетов тепло очень быстро выветривается, даже с включённым кондиционером. Раковина, для умывания, стоит над стиралкой, надо приспособиться, чтоб умыться в ней =)

Рядом есть магазины, фруктовые палатки и недорогие кафе. В самих апартаментах все есть. Удивил телефон для модема, чтобы использовать интернет вне дома - круто! Майкл (хозяин) всегда готов помочь, отличный человек В мойке только холодная вода. Не хватало больших кружек — но это все мелочи.

• Hieu (10/5): Great Apartment and Location - The apartment is cozy, clean, and in a great location. The owner is friendly and super helpful. Michael went above and beyond to help me get oriented and connected to Alipay after my WeChat and VPN failed to work. The building is older with no elevator. The unit is on the 6th floor. This really wasn't a problem for me being able bodied and relatively young. People who are older and/or have a physical disability that makes climbing stairs impossible should know.
• Iulian Dirdala (7/5): Basic accommodation - The apartment is in centre of Shanghai, close to the metro station and faimous shopping street. The apartment is located in an old and dirty building, without a lift, you can not feel safe there. The bed is very hard, because it is not a normal, comfortable bed mattress, it is just like sleeping on wood directly.
• Ulvi (10/5): - The host was very helpful and always willing to help and give advice. The location is good, it's just a few minutes walk to the subway The apartment is on the 6th floor in the house there is no elevator keep in mind if you have a lot of luggage
• L (10/5): - The owner is the nices person ever and he helped us a lott. You have everything like drinkable water and spices and everything is very clean and comfy. You are also close to city centre and have multiple stores and restaurants near. I would recomend this accommondation to everyone and when I get back to Shanghai I'm definitely booking it again :)

Michael went out of his way to make sure we got there ok and even helped with our bags. Having a washing machine was a life saver for such a long stay. Every thing you need is provided. The mattress on the bed was very thin so the bed was very hard and the blinds let a lot of light. No elevator meant climbing 6 floors, this was unknown prior to booking. It could have been a bit cleaner.

The host was incredibly flexible and accommodating, allowing us to check in late, which we truly appreciated. The apartment itself is modern despite the building being a bit older, and we loved how well-maintained everything was. The location couldn't have been better - with the metro close by and plenty of cute coffee shops and restaurants just a short walk away. We loved every moment of our stay and would definitely return. Highly recommended!!

• Yongsen (10/5): Exceptional - The orientation to detail of the host not only on accomodation side, but also cares about possible foreign guests' challenges during their Shanghai tours, for example there's a free mobile device with internet as a hotspot host for travelling outside of the place. For me personally, the wachine machine helped me a great deal. The view from the property is into Shanghai old town. The place's very safe and secure, you can tell this by seeing delivery leaving stuffs at front door of most neighbors and there's nobody there to steal them. The deliveries could find the place easily tough it wasn't an obvious location to be found. Initially finding there was a challenge especially at night, usually the host would meet you if you don't arrive too late. The stairs was challenging to climb with all the stuff, apprieciate its calorie consumption though.
• Elena (10/5): In case of a repeat trip, this place is the first choice. - Ideal location. All necessary places in the city are no further than 3 metro stations. There are many clubs and bars nearby. The place of residence is clean and cozy, it is pleasant to return to. All necessary items, such as a hair dryer, iron and even more are provided. -
