• dr_something (6/5): Great location, not great check-in experience. - The location of this apartment is excellent—extremely close to the metro and with two grocery stores just a block away. The bathroom is spacious and the kitchen was well equipped. From the start, the communication felt overly focused on collecting fees. I was reminded multiple times about the cash tourist tax and the late check-in fee, yet the co-host didn’t even know the exact tax amount and didn't have change when I paid. It felt very unprofessional compared to a hotel experience. To make matters worse, we were told upon arrival that the apartment gets 'very, very cold' in the mornings, which is not what you want to hear in December.

• Joshua (10/5): Great property in a very nice area - The food reccomendations from the host were both amazing and very cheaply priced! We had a greet and walk through the property which was ace, making sure we knew where everything was. The washing machine was also a huge bonus alongside 2 sets of keys! Very greatful for the late checkin time after out flight was delayed. We had good communication with the host when needed. Good stay overall!
• Cynthia (8/5): Charming & cozy rooftop apartment in Barcelona. - Cozy, charming rooftop apartment with a large terrace. It is quiet and private, with authentic Spanish touches. The kitchen is equipped to make basic meals. Washing machine works well and clothes dry quickly on the roof clotheslines. Neighborhood is nice too-not too touristy with plenty of cafes and markets nearby, great for strolling. There is a metro station right next to the apartment, making it easy to get around the city. The five flights of steep stairs to get to the apartment are no joke, but it’s a good workout going up! Also, the bed was a little small for our taste- just a double rather than a queen.

Está en una zona perfectamente ubicada, con conexiones sencillas a las principales líneas de autobús y de metro. Y, sin embargo, el ambiente era de barrio, muy agradable y familiar.
• Dylan (9/5): Amazing views from the terrace/rooftop! - Oscar met us at the property. We were able to check in early since our flight arrived in the morning. Very friendly host! Shower head was barely attached to the wall but it still worked good.
• Carol (8/5): Het appartement was top, alle comfort, het terras zalig! - Alle comfort, zalig terras, prachtig uitzicht Ik kwam onverwacht later aan, en had straatnummer nr 10 doorgekregen terwijl het nr 8 moest zijn. De host was bij ontvangst duidelijk geïrriteerd.

• piero (10/5): Una casetta sul tetto - L'appartamento è molto tranquillo essendo in pratica una casetta sul tetto del condominio. È piccolino ma accogliente. Come descritto le scale sono strette e ripide e si arriva in cima con la lingua di fuori però poi la vista dalla terrazza ti ripaga dello sforzo. La metro è davanti a casa e a 5 minuti a piedi si arriva a piazza di Spagna che è un nodo dei servizi di trasporto pubblico. Oscar è stato gentilissimo, ci ha accolto in anticipo e ci ha dato buoni consigli. La vacanza è andata benissimo, eravamo con un cagnolino che è stato ben accolto. L'appartamento è In pratica una soffitta riadattata e si vede, pulita ma soprattutto l'impianto elettrico sarebbe da rivedere.

Oscar was great with accommodating us, very nice and attentive, and also giving us tips on restaurants and places to go. If we had any questions, he was glad to help us. Made us feel very welcome! Everything was good.

• Michael (7/5): Nice terrace apartment with great potential - Great location, metro a few meters away. The staff was great and responsive. Nice view from the terrace. Working WIFI and TV with Netflix or Amazon. Cleanliness of the place. Critical point: It was really hard to sleep properly, the AC is really noisy even in quiet mode and sometimes neighbors were loud, unfortunately walls are thin, on our last night there was even party-like music played for almost an hour after midnight. Worth mentioning: Terrace is actually a top floor of the apartment house, shared with other neighbors and only access to your apartment is through that terrace. Terrace also needs to be a bit taken care of, there were some parts that were off like random towel and some other things.
• John (10/5): Perfect local stay in Barcelona - This was a great apartment stay and we felt very local, having the whole top floor of the building to ourselves. The beds were very comfortable, the apartment was clean and well-decorated and there was a washing machine so we could wash some clothes and dry them quickly on the sunny rooftop. The stairs are a bit of a struggle, especially with luggage, although we were helped with one of the suitcases on check-in. The best place I've stayed in Barcelona. Just the stairs but there's nothing that can be done about that. After you get up them you can enjoy the views and a relaxing drink in the outside courtyard.

Oscar was an incredibly warm and friendly host, very communicative and responsive, facilitating arrival and helpful with all manner of detail and support during the stay. He and the apartment both get a 5-star review! The kitchen comes very well equipped. A few additional pots and pans could be of benefit for those of us who prepare most meals at home :)

Oscar was so helpful and explained everything perfectly, and was on call to answer any questions during my stay. It's just steps from a Metro station and a short walk from the A1 and A2 airport buses.

• Paola (10/5): Dominating Barcelona from the top of the roof in a quiet and comfortable apartment. - It's the ideal place to be quiet in Barcelona: a little house built on the top of a roof, it's like being on your own out of the chaos, but at the same time you are in the very centre near Plaza de Espana! Furniture in the house is so delicate and comfortable, there is everything you might need and there is a nice patio outside with a wonderful view of the city where you can sit down, relax and eat. We loved this place. It is on the top floor so you have to climb a lot of stairs to reach the apartment! But when you arrive: what a wonderful surprise: you are there dominating the city from above.

The outside sitting area is just yours, with great view to the city. I love the spanish interior aesthetic so I really liked the interior too. The communication with the owner was great! • Adrian (9/5): Superb - Loved the location on a nice boulevard. Very close to metro station, boqueria, market stores, bakery, restaurants etc. It's an apartment on the roof with a great view, nice terrace and an amazing blue sky Also the host (Ola, Lou:) is genuinely kind, in general the Spanish people seem realy friendly, relaxed and smiling:) Had some minor issues with the hot water
• Robin (9/5): Superb - We were greeted by Stephanie who took great care to help us find the best way to get to the entryway of the building from the airport. She then got us into the room and provided a great overview of the apartment and rules for checking out before leaving. The view from the balcony was great and there is even a “Big Ben” esque tower nearby that conjures up Peter Pan like thoughts. The apartment is nicely furnished and is decorated with thought. You just need to be ready for the stairs to get to the top floor. It is advertised, so just go into the experience knowing it is coming.
• Veronika (8/5): Very good - I liked the rooftop and plants, and a drying line outside, having a washer available to wash my clothes, very nice environment, old radios and records inside the room. Watch out on the stairs, they can be slippery, property is on the fourth floor, difficult to carry heavy luggage.

• Elise (9/5): Great place to stay - Great reception on time. Very clean rooftop appartment. Lovely terrace in the sun. All basic things present in kitchen/bathroom and bedroom. Location right at a metro stop, lots of shops around (aldi, market, baker, mercado) and super close to the international train station. Relaxed neighbourhood. Make sure you have your tourist tax in cash with you! We forgot, luckily Stephanie was very relaxed about it.

Good air con was a bonus as it was very hot when we stayed. It is a lot of stairs but you know that when you book the place. We preferred to get on a metro and go else for restaurants and things to do but a great base to explore from.

• Zsombor (10/5): Super charming! - The appartment is a super charming little jewelry box with a giant rooftop terrace full of green plant. We liked the photos when we booked it, but when we arrived it really blew us away. Lots of very thoughtful details in decoration that made us feel home. It is small, but very smartly furnished, and the location is excellent. Very lively, with lots of bars and restaurants and it seems it is more for locals rather than tourists... so while it is has a lively vibe, it is not as crazy as being in the Gothic Districts, for example. Also great for transportation... when you step out of the building, a subway stop of "L1" is right across the street. The only downside of this apartment is that you have to climb up to the fourth floor of an old building with tall ceilings. But the description of the apartment is very clear about this, so it wasn't a disappointment overall... we expected it to be like this. So, if you don't mind burning your glutes a couple of times per day, this is not a problem at all.

Additionally, I would like to give the owner extra credit: my purse was stolen somewhere in the city and the owner lent me money so that I could get to the airport. Thanks again for your friendly support! The next time I visit Barcelona, I'll definitely stay in the apartment again.

It is a wonderful relaxing place to stay in so comfortable and just lovely to sit on the terrace rooftop listening to the enchanting sounds of Barcelona! Highly recommend 👌

• Crawford (10/5): Best stay in Barcelona - It was a very nice penthouse, that was in a good location, private and comfortable, and captured the sun all day. It was generally quite, and definitely much quieter than other places I stayed in Barcelona. It wasn’t a problem for me, but there are 89 steps to the apartment so clearly it won’t be suitable for everyone.
• Elia (9/5): Very comfortable place, it feels like home - I was looking for an apartment for me and my group of friends, so I wrote to the structure and.. they were very kind and always available! When we went in for the first time, we loved the plants, the colours of its inside and outside, its opportunity of eating "en plain air", seeing all roofs of our zone, Hostafrancs. It is really near to every public transport to move all around the city, a facility that is not always assured. The place is well keeped, comfy and I hope you'll feel the same emotions that me and my friend felt during the days we spent in Barcelona.
