Guest Reviews
- Indradip (3/5): - The location was good, as you can walk to the pyramids. The price was low enough. the people were friendly. Therefore, great if someone just wants to spend one overnight there, in my opinion. Noisy location: The building is situated in a very noisy neighborhood, with constant traffic and street noise.
Breakfast quality: The breakfast offered was disappointing, lacking variety.
Housekeeping issues: The room was not cleaned once during our 7‑day stay. We booked 4 rooms. Trash was left untouched, and bedsheets and towels were never changed in any rooms over those days. No toiletries were provided except a hand soap. There was an issue regarding the washroom in one of the rooms.
Environmental concern: The area suffers from noticeable pollution, which further affects the overall experience. However, this can't be fixed by the building's owner.
- Emma (10/5): Exceptional - Clean room, helpful and kind staff. Close to the pyramids. Highly recommended!
- Noel (9/5): Superb - Our stay in Giza with Jana Pyramids was truly unforgettable. The accommodation was comfortable, clean, and perfectly located with breathtaking views of the pyramids. Waking up to the sight of one of the Seven Wonders of the World was simply magical.
The tours organized by Jana Pyramids were exceptional. The guides were knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate, sharing fascinating insights about the history and mysteries of the pyramids, the Sphinx, and the surrounding landmarks. The camel and horse rides were a unique and fun way to explore the desert, and the sunset views were absolutely stunning.
We also appreciated the seamless organization and warm hospitality throughout our stay. If you're planning a trip to Giza, Jana Pyramids is the perfect choice for an authentic and memorable experience. Highly recommended!
Thank you, Jana Pyramids, for making our visit so special!

He was one of the best owners I’ve ever seen, they always brought us happiness. He gave us fruits and allowed us to stay there after checking out
Everything we’ve seen there was perfect. Pyramids view, tasty breakfast, fruits
When it was a little bit cold, we turned heater on
There were AC and hair dryer too
It took us just 10 minutes to get to pyramids
We want to visit them again, thank you for wonderful memories

- Leonard (9/5): Superb - Lovely Host, great food and View from the rooftop.
Ac worked well and the shared shower did its job The bed was pretty hard and the toilet Seat should be replaced, but you get what you pay for.
- Kenta (9/5): Superb - Owner is very kind and helpful. View from the rooftop is awesome indeed!
- Jo (10/5): Fantastic base to explore the Pyramids and Cairo - The vibe from the rooftop at night is unreal!! And just sitting eating (the fantastic) breakfast while looking at the pyramids is worth this stay alone.
Yet when you stay at Jana Pyramids, you get so much more than that. Ibrahim and his family really go above and beyond and there were so many thoughtful touches that really helped us in our first few days in Egypt. They are a warm, genuine bunch.
Ibrahim helped us get a sim card, invited us to join his family for dinner, stayed up til past 1am to welcome and introduce us to Egypt after our flight landed late. He was constantly trying to help make our stay easier and we appreciated it. Would 100% recommend staying here! Nothing. It was a very easy short walk to the pyramids entrance from the place. The rooms had both AC and a fan. We had a shared bathroom but there was never a wait for it and it was very clean.
- Zeyad (9/5): Superb -
- Jaime (10/5): Extreme Hospitality - Storytime.
The best $10 hotel I have stayed in.
You here the words Egyptian Hospitality and recoil, as every scammer shop owner uses those words to offer you free tea which they feel obligates you to give them money.
But Jana 3, I booked at midnight traveling on a WeBus from Taba on the Israeli border, after traveling on a 444 bus from Jerusalem. There were soooooo many checkpoints on the Sinai peninsula , no one got any sleep. When I ordered it, I was half awake and delirious. I ordered 1 bed instead of 2. I estimated 3 more hours of checkpoints and asked for a 3 am checkin…
If that happened, this wouldn't be much of a story. So we roll into Cairo at 5:30, order an Uber, taxi drivers bugging us up until we got in an Uber 10 minutes later. Drive 15 minutes to the hotel and checkin. The room was already cooled from air conditioning anticipating our arrival. But 1 bed. No matter, we go up on the roof, look at the pyramids, and a 2 bed room is prepared. They brought us fruit, and offered us breakfast before breakfast hours. We begged off, went to sleep. Woke up at 1:30pm and they offered us free breakfast again which we accepted. Checked out, stored our luggage, Walked to the pyramids, came back at 5, had cool fresh water from the 5 gallon water bottle dispenser, was given a hearty farewell and we were off on further adventures.
I recommend Jana 3 and the roof has a partial view of the pyramids which we took photos with, they are massive. Only thing, I wish they had a sign, but I had his WhatsApp and he sent me a photo of the front door.
