• paula (2/5): It's a nope for us. Bad enough that we didn't stay (no refund. Still worth it to not to stay there). - We did not feel comfortable staying here and found other accomodations. There is a simple lock on the door. No Deadbolt or secondary locking system. It's the kind of lock you would find on a bathroom door inside a house in the states. When I messaged about my concerns, I was told, "The property is not advertised as having a deadbolt, so this isn’t something included in the listing." To say there is a slope up to the units is an understatement. It's a hill, a big one. And then there are stairs. Lots of them. Be ready to be sweaty if you're walking back from the beach.
• Felicity (8/5): - Well serviced apartment with amazing views of Airlie Marina. Comfortable bed, spacious living area with the additional double bed. Functional kitchen with dining area. 5 minute walk down to the main town with restaurants, supermarkets, shops and the beach close by. Be prepared to walk up the steepest hill, as the apartment is in the second to last building up the top up of the hill. We wer not prepared for how steep the hill was, especially when you have luggage as when you get a transfer they drop you off at reception which is only half way up the hill.

• Saskia (5/5): Voor een nachtje op doorreis is het oké maar wel wat te duur voor het kwaliteitsniveau - De locatie is uitstekend. Je loopt vanaf het appartement in een paar minuten het centrum in. De foto’s zijn niet heel representatief en doen voorkomen alsof het een luxe appartement is en dat is het niet. Plinten en onderzijde van de deuren zijn allemaal aangetast door de vochtige zoute zeelucht. De keuken is oud en karig uitgerust, niets meer dan wat bestek en een paar potten en pannen. Er staat wel wel koffiemachine maar geen cupjes, al lagen er maar twee dan was dat al fijn geweest. De badkamer is klein, heeft geen mechanische ventilatie en dat zie je ook. Plafond heeft bijvoorbeeld vochtplekken.

Clean apartment with air conditioning a bonus. some additional bits in the kitchen would have been great. eg scissors/ ice tray are just 2 from memory. additional welcoming things eg coffee pods - machine was there but no pods. only a couple of instant coffee satchets. also, television aerial didn't work so we had to leave on one channel and that was static. Also it was far too high up the hill from the main town centre and whilst a restaurant at the place, they didn't open for breakfast

The door was open when we arrived! We could not get any successful television stations. There wasn't a plug for the kitchen sink. The steps were quite steep for older folks.

I needed to change the date but booking.com wouldn’t allow this online but the apartment staff sorted this. Check in was simple with key in lockbox at front door. I requested early checkin at 10am & this was granted. The view is stunning from the lounge and the place is well-decorated and beds so comfortable. Kitchen was well-equipped and had milk provided with tea and coffee, plus washing up liquid. Beach towels also provided. Parking below apartment. The pool area is great & the onsite restaurant/bar (The Anchor) is well worth a visit. Great food and service. Only open Thursday-Sunday. The walk up to the apartment is up a steep hill, but it was worth it. Need comfier sun loungers by pool.
• Gabrielle (9/5): One bedroom apartment ticks the boxes! - This one bedroom apartment is in an awesome location and has great ocean views from 2 balconies. Short walk to restaurants and shops in main street. Comfortable king bed in the bedroom and a double bed in the lounge room. Nicely renovated bathroom with best shampoo and conditioner I've ever had at a hotel. Kitchen is dated, but had everything we needed including fridge, microwave, cook top, kettle, toaster, water jug, salt and pepper. We went swimming in the smaller of the 2 pools and had the place to ourselves! Easy access to lockbox with key. We would stay again.

• Allison (5/5): Average, wouldn’t stay again - Proximity to town & view over the harbour -The hill from town was a killer, especially for my 70yo mum. -Ant issue in the bathroom. -No plug in the kitchen to wash dishes properly. -Kitchen very dated and not many plates, cups, glasses, etc. couldn’t figure out the coffee machine. Pods just fell through to waste bin and didn’t lodge in to place. Only hot water come through when button was pushed. -thin walls, hear people walking and talking upstairs, outside and next door, was woken at 230am one morning to the neighbors having sex

Used coffee pod in coffee machine which hadn't been cleaned. 2 pods provided (wrong size). Half a toilet roll on holder for 3 day stay (no spares). Couldn't use sun lounger as seating had pulled away from frame.

Definitely worth the price for everything though. The parking was very small and hard to get into and the road up was steep.

This made the lounge area feel confined and didn’t allow for privacy. I recommend parking on the street as the car park is extremely tight for larger vehicles.

There was dust on the fans marks on some of the walls and overall didnt appear as clean as what i expected. I thought the cost for what was delivered didnt quite marry up.

Short walk up the hill on the way home, can get hot but the aircon makes it a good, easy trip up the hill. I am not one for eating out breakfast, lunch and dinner, so the cooking facilities are very basic. Would have been good to be able to at least cook a nice breakfast. But we made do, without any dramas! Had a wonderful short-stay.
