- Dan (2/5): It was uncomfortable for me and I think a capsule hotel would have been a better option. - It's in a great location in Shin-Okubo, so if you're into night life around the area and Shinjuku, this place may be for you. I stayed for a few days in mid-January 2025 and felt very uncomfortable with the temperature of the room. The apartment has an extremely high rise ceiling where the heater/cooling machine is located. Basically when you heat the room, only the top of the apartment gets super hot and uncomfortable to sleep (the bed is located close to the high-rise ceiling). I never felt warm on the bottom portion of the apartment with the heater on. Moreover, there is no bathroom sink. This was very frustrating for me because there was no place to have my toiletries except for in the "kitchen area". There is absolutely zero counter space so you will end up placing your toiletries in awkward places like on top of the stove. Also, I noticed that the microwave would randomly lose power when I tried to warm up food so it was very unreliable.
