• Susan (8/5): Fabulous location! - Great location! Brilliant views from the living space and so close to the beach! It wasn’t cleaned very well before we arrived - toilet was dirty. The dryer didn’t work and no response received when we reported that so drying our clothes was difficult with only one tiny rack.
• Patricia (3/5): Great catching up with family but disappointed our maintenance concerns were not addressed at all. - Location Hi Georgia We had a few problems with the property. As you know the temperature was up around 38 degrees Celsius on Friday 22/11 - the day we arrived. We turned the air conditioner on and it wasn’t very effective in cooling the space. Three of us had to sleep in the lounge room as the bedroom with the bunk bed was uninhabitable. The following morning we noticed water leaking out of the indoor a/c unit, with water running down the wall (and into the TV that is mounted under the a/c unit). My daughter, Kath, contacted both numbers on the contact card provided at 8:30am. The second number answered and Kath reported the issue with the a/c. Saturday night the TV turned itself off and stopped working - we assume due to the water dripping into it. At this time we also noticed the water stains on the wall, which indicates this has happened previously. On Sunday morning my other daughter attempted to use the washing machine and part way through the cycle it errored and wouldn’t drain. When we left the property the machine was still half full of water. Despite our best efforts we couldn’t get the machine to drain. Kath contacted the number again to advise of this issue. I am very immobile and need to use a walker - no mention is made in your advert to the 17 (rotting) wooden stairs that need to be climbed to reach the front door. In addition, the milk capsules in the fridge were one month out of date and could not be used, there were also long black hairs in the shower bay and on the sheet under the pillows of the bed in the main bedroom that were definitely not ours. In relation to removal of rubbish, there were two eggs in the fridge when we arrived and we did not touch those so they are still there. There is also a bunch of rubbish in the unit under the TV, and we did not move this either.
