- Mahendran (10/5): Hotel Catalonia Square - Hotel Catalonia Square really exceeded our expectations, from the exceptional service at check in, particularly mentioning Kate and Guido, who really gave us the most warmest welcome we could have hoped for. Kate played with our little two year old, and they even arranged for a little goodies tray for her when we checked in later on, which really made our baby's (and our) day. On check out both Kate and Guido helped store our luggage until we were ready to leave, and Guido even helped us getting a taxi to the airport. The hotel room is spacious, very clean, and very modern and the location is great! I was amazed at how central and close the hotel is to everything. The LA Rambla, Placa de Catalunya and various groceries stores and restaurants/take aways where minutes away on foot. And walking to the other main tourist attractions, including la familia Basilica, was easy even with a two year old in tow. The routes were all very stroller friendly from the hotel. I would definitely come back to stay at Hotel Catalonia Square in the future. Loved everything.

Hizo que nuestra escapada fuera aún más especial. El personal muy atento y un servicio de habitaciones muy bueno y rápido. Nos gustará repetir experiencia. No encontré nada que no me gustara.

Viele Restaurants und kleine Breakfast Ortschaften wo es ausgezeichnete Brunches gibt. Frühstückim Hotel auf sehr vielfältig und gut. Zimmer ok nicht riesig aber sehr sauber. Check in war sehr langsam. Wir konnten erst um ca. 17.30 Uhr ins Zimmer, da sie neue Betten am montieren waren. Fairerweise wir haben für einen Tag den Brunch erhalten. Am nächsten Tag ab 09.00 Uhr wieder lärmig, da sie die anderen Zimmer montierten. Die Putzfrauen machten auch ab 09.30 Ihr einen riesen lärm...

- Mirko (9/5): Esperienza Stupenda - L'hotel è in una posizione invidiabile. Molto curato e personale davvero gentile e disponibile. Le Camere sono molto comode e silenziose. L'area colazione è ben studiata per relax e comfort ed offre una ricca e buona offerta. Anche la zona relax-piscina molto apprezzata. A piedi si arriva praticamente ovunque in poco tempo, dai monumenti principali, alle vie/zone più visitate, fino alla spiaggia. Ma qualora non si voglia camminare, nell'intorno dell'hotel è possibile usufruire di tutti i servizi mobili. Anche per chi ama lo shopping, la posizione è perfetta. Se proprio devo indicare degli aspetti dove migliorare: - Il fatto che un solo tasto accenda e spenga tutte le luci della camera, prese comprese, non è molto comodo. Specie se la zona lavandino / specchio sono parte dello stesso spazio. Le persone possono dormire insieme ma svegliarsi in modo frammentato e non per forza si devono accendere tutte le luci per lavarsi dei denti :) - La zona palestra è piccola, ma proprio per questo non potendo mettere dei macchinari per allenare muscoli come spalle e petto o braccia, quanto meno metterei dei pesi/manubri oltre i 6kg di peso. Non ci sono pesi per uomini nella sala e così non serve molto. Anche perché se si vuole camminare o pedalare, vista la bellezza di Barcellona, lo si va a fare all'aperto. Mentre in sala bastano 2 panche, 1 bilanciere e dei pesi e lo spazio se pur piccolo è ottimizzato bene. Così invece non serve a nessuno scopo.

Die Lage des Hotels ist ebenfalls ideal: in der Nähe vom Hafen, Strand und Shoppingzentrum. Das Frühstück war sehr abwechslungsreich mit einer großen Auswahl für jeden Geschmack. - Astrid (10/5): - Everything was perfect :) Room was very spacious and had everything we needed, location was perfect, breakfast was very delicious and the staff were very helpful!
- Bee Leng (10/5): MUST stay when at Barcelona .. - Location is excellent .. across the road to El Corte Ingles at Placa Catalanya , 100 m to the AIRPORT bus terminus that runs frequently to T1 or T2. Short walk to the subways or taxi stand. Very easy access to Barcelona old town, La Ramblas, and a easy walk to some of Gaudi's MUST see houses. Basically Barcelona is lovely to walk due to its wide friendly pedestrian footpath. Reception / Front Desk : Receptionist are Helpful & Courteous. Although check in area is small, BUT the check in & check out process is fast. Rooms : we took up a junior suite as wanted the extra space. That also meant that our room face the busy street. Grateful for its double glazed doors and the block out curtains, it does shut off the noise from the street. Although the balcony is nice for stepping out to watch whats going on and to open for fresh air. Guest Lounge : very comfortable place for a drink and to meet with friends. the bathroom shower area can be better improved. No matter how careful one is, the water still splatters out (despite closed shower door). It splatters onto the floor board making it unsightly. Need to provide additional floor mat and need to be changed by the evening. Would have preferred that hotel provide bottles of drinking water depending on the number of occupants .. eg. two persons to the room means two bottles of water per day. ALthough was told by reception that water from the tap is safe for drinking BUT the water does not taste nice .. feels a little bit salty.

- Cem (9/5): Sehr gut! - Eine sehr schöne Unterkunft! Sehr schöne Zimmer und sehr nettes Personal. Die Lage ist sehr zentral! Hatte dieses Hotel unter anderem wegen dem Frühstück gebucht, muss aber sagen, dass das Frühstück nicht so überzeugend war und eher ein drei Sternenniveau hat. Trotzdem würde ich noch mal hier übernachten.

Da perfezionare per l’evento maratona - Centrale, stanza sufficientemente grande e pulita, ottima colazione Tutto perfetto, ma noi eravamo lì per la maratona di Barcellona. Non è professionale non organizzare una colazione adeguata prima delle 7. I clienti dell’hotel erano per la maggior parte li proprio per quell’evento. Da migliorare per l’anno prossimo
- Milos (8/5): For short stays its a good pick - Location was perfect. The fact we could leave the car in the parking of the hotel was great. Breakfast was good. The hotels structure is narrow, Rooms too. If you travel with a little boy and they open the second bed it becomes difficult to open a suitcase, even the small one... The big one forget about it. A bit claustrophobic.

- Jacob (10/5): - A wonderful stay and a special thanks to Kate. She arranged an early check-in, welcomed us with a bottle of bubbly, and shared some great food recommendations. The location is very central, which made it easy to explore.
- Frau (8/5): - Camera molto bella Colazione misera e con poca scelta, specialmente per il giorno della maratona ci avevate promesso un buffet ma c'erano 4 cose scarsissima, sono stato addirittura ripreso dallo staff perchè alle 7,15 nonostante ci fossero i camerieri sono entrato nella sala colazione a cercare qualcosa di piu e sono stato allontanato..... sappiatelo gli atleti prima della gara hanno bisogno di mangiare bene e 2 ore e mezzo almeno prima della partenza. Grazie
