• Jaffal (4/5): Its lower cost compared to others but the reasons are in the quality - The pool No wifi and despite contacting the company more than once no one was helpful. The pool gets dirty with the trees after one two days. The air conditioning turns off every 2 hours so during the night when it is hot it is bad.
• Raymond (6/5): Nice quiet villa but needs some updating - There was a welcome basket on our arrival which was a nice touch. Although the house is a little tired in places it was comfortable, the sofa cushions could do with a wash. It’s a lovely quiet house that’s super close to the beach and after reading previous reviews I wasn’t expecting five star, I imagine that during the warmer months you don’t need the pool heating however we went in March and couldn’t use the pool at all. The villa is super close to the airport which was a blessing as the road signs were few and far between you need google maps to navigate. No instruction booklet for the air con, tv, cooker, hob or Wi-Fi, there were three remotes for the air con in the lounge two of which did not work, the Wi-Fi details we were emailed were not the right ones, the pool was absolutely freezing and there was no cover so garden debris and insects were in it constantly, no bat and balls for the table tennis set, there was a washing machine but no where to dry clothes like an airer or a washing line outside, I did ask about this with the rental company and nothing was provided for our entire two week stay we ended up buying a line and tying it between two trees, there were no hangers in any of the wardrobes, the outside furniture was covered in cat hair and I was bitten quite badly by fleas, the evenings are very cold in March and someone had to come out and fix the remote in the second week of our stay so we could have warm air, there is central heating but that didn’t work either, we spent the first week under blankets and I had to buy a fleece set and socks. The cutlery and cooking utensils were poor there was no potato peeler, cork screw or serving spoons. There were no plastic tubs with lids for storing food in the fridge or to make a pack up on a day out, especially when you visit before the summer season starts. The light switches were very confusing but after two weeks we got it right in the end. The upstairs bath that doubles as a shower was a little worrying when you stand near the shower as the bath creaks and moves, there is a remote shade screen but we could not find the switch to use it for some shade. The problems could be fixed easily by providing a folder with instructions, we only stay in villas on holiday and this was the first with no information booklet.

• Kenneth (10/5): Great Villa, Great Company to Rent from, Great Time - The villa has all mod cons and is located in a quiet little corner of Cyprus. Clean and roomy, ideal for a family of three or four. The rental company are fantastic, always on hand to answer any questions and even left us a, much needed, welcome pack. 200m from the beach is a bit optimistic and there is a lack of shops and bars around this location.
• Oren (7/5): Nice, could be better. - The house was nice To pool could have been more cleaner, the WiFi password did not worked at the first day, and we received only two towels for 4 people. The maintenance company provided additional towels within two days.
• Anne (4/5): We had many problems. - Comfortable sofa and large TV. There were many problems. Power cut on 1st morning. Hot and cold water is on a pump so there was no water either. We were told the caretaker would attend, then half an hour later we were told to fix it ourselves by finding the trip switch in an outside communal unit. After the power cut the fridge/freezer needed to be reset but the buttons on the front were broken. We were told to stick the end of a spoon in and fiddle about until it worked. There are two lockboxes for the key, one is broken. Arriving late at night it was difficult to ascertain which key box was broken and which one worked. (It's the top one). There is no info book. The wifi code is on the back of the router (that you have to find) in tiny writing. We were not informed of the gate code to gain access to the property. There is a safe in the bedroom but it is locked shut. Management company (MC) could not fix it during our stay. Washing machine was broken. MC replaced it. There were no saucepans. Just 3 frying pans and an enormous casserole. MC provided new set. Taps in downstairs shower and toilet did not produce hot water, shower fitting was loose on the wall and loo seat loose. MC fixed. Only one tea towel. MC supplied 3 more. Only 4 mugs. Only 2 bin bags. No hair dryer. MC supplied. Only 1 set of sheets, i.e.. the ones on the bed. No mirrors in bedrooms and no plug in bathroom. Impossible to blow dry hair. Feral cats use garden as toilet. They will come in the house if you leave the door open. Marble bathroom sink surround cracked in many places. Bath cracked. Cannot flush toilet paper. Grass needs cutting. Bedroom 2 ceiling light fitting broken. Of the 18 light bulbs in various fittings in the lounge, dining, kitchen, only 5 work. MC had not replaced by the time we left. Downstairs shower does not drain so overflows onto floor. Outside lights do not work. No toilet cleaning products supplied. It may be 200m to the beach as the crow flies but it is probably 1km walking.
• Theo (9/5): Highly recommended. Beautiful villa in a beautiful location for a truly relaxing holiday. - We loved the beautiful cat which greeted us upon our arrival at the villa. We also liked the quiet area, views and security. You definitely need a car. The furnishings were comfortable and tasteful with almost everything you could need. The shower downstairs was very powerful. Appreciated the Wi-Fi and big screen tv and the outdoor space. Had coffee on the porch most mornings listening to the birds. The inside of the fridge door had been missed for cleaning but everything else was very clean. Lots of spare pillows and quilts, being February we used the top up quilt on our bed. Our hosts were very kind/flexible allowing a slightly earlier check in and check out, and communication with their rep was excellent. The villa is under the approach to the Larnaca airport runway which may be noisy for some in high season but it didn’t bother us. You need the code to get the car through the security barrier which we weren’t given initially but it was easily and quickly resolved with their rep. Saying goodbye to Tiger🐯the kitten who’d kept us entertained all week broke our hearts. We wished we could have taken him home with us.
