It was very clean and tidy just enough stuff to make it look nice but not cluttered or over done.. easy location to shops and concert.. Outdoor area was great to sit back and have a drink in the afternoon sun.. 🌞

- Akshat (10/5): - Amazingly well kept and equipped house. Loved the kitchen and the backyard. It was a home away from home. We were blessed with good weather as well.
- Janelle (10/5): Wonderful property inside and out. Great location. - Beautiful property, super comfy beds, great outdoor area, lovely grassed backyard, great location. Perfect for our entire family included our furry one. Could not fault anything!

- Maria (9/5): Bendigo Stay - Cleanliness, amenities No mirrors in the bedrooms
- Christina (10/5): Excellent property, clean, spacious and quality provided. Thanks for a near perfect stay! - This house was perfect for our visit to Bendigo! Everything in the property was exceptional just like staying at home.
The house was clean and neat, good quality furniture, appliances and linen.
Roomy and comfortable. The keypad lock to access property would not work so we had to contact the owners, just took a little time but after we figure out we access the property with no trouble.
There were no tea towels at all to dry the dishes, not sure why, we didn't want to use the dishwasher.
- Rebecca (10/5): -
- Susan (9/5): Lovely house with everything you could want for a comfortable stay - The house has been quite recently renovated and was just lovely - all the amenity you could want. Being a very cold winter, we were very impressed with the heating. Another huge plus was the quality bed linen. Also loved a electronic doorpad - no worrying about keys, keylocks etc.
- Val (9/5): Cosy and comfortable house - Beautifully renovated house in one of Bendigo's lovely tree lined streets within walking distance of the city.
House is cosy and warm, beds are very comfortable and bathrooms are great.
Although we didn't cook, kitchen had good selection of crockery, cutlery and pans. A minor quibble - although plenty of handwash and toilet rolls, there was no shampoo or conditioner. This is not made clear in the facilities so assumed that they were included otherwise I would have brought them with me.
- Trevor (9/5): We will stay there again one day - A well appointed house with all the mod cons and stacks of extras. We appreciated the excellent bottle of wine on our arrival and plenty of tea, coffee etc as a starter. Two bathrooms, a big bath, and a separate toilet meant no waiting around getting the kids to bed.
Heating was magnificent, with only 4 deg outside we needed that.
Lots of kitchen utensils, toys, books, games and a big back yard meant we had a trouble free stay.
Thank you. Trevor The electronic key pad to the bedroom was very easy for little hands to accidentally lock and WE WERE NOT GIVEN A CODE TO UNLOCK THE BEDROOMS. Fortunately when this did happen the manager / owner released the door remotely and changed the code to match the front door
- Beth (9/5): Clean, neat and tidy house within easy distance of Bendigo's many attractions - The house was clean, neat and tidy.
Location was great, walking distance to the Art Gallery, other tourist attractions and several good eating places.
Having an issue with a plumbing problem, the issue was quickly addressed and rectified by the owner. No dining room table inside , as an older group sitting at bar stools was not ideal for a couple of our group but is not a deal breaker. It would be lovely to sit on the deck in warmer weather to eat at the table outside
- Lmb (10/5): One of the best! - This cottage has been tastefully renovated & modernised. It is comfortable & modern with quality appliances, linen, kitchen ware, air con. & security. Communication with access details etc. was excellent. The hosts have thought of every detail to make for a truly comfortable stay.

- Charlie (10/5): We would recommend this property very highly, for the comfort convenience. Location and price. - The location was just perfect. It was just a couple of minutes from everything we attended all weekend.. it also was so easy to get around. There wasn't anything we didn't like.

- Val (10/5): A comfortable house to return to after a busy day at conference. - Location was great with easy access to the city and red energy stadium. The house was very comfortable with everything you needed for a relaxing stay. The bathrooms and kitchen were outstanding like nothing we have stayed in previously. Being able to park off the street was a great advantage. Nothing!

- Lachlan (10/5): A fantastic homely property with everything you could possibly want out of a stay. - The house was clean, very nicely renovated and felt exceptionally homely and welcoming when I arrived. It was a breeze getting in and there’s ample space for gated parking. The only thing was the tea towel was dirty and smelled pretty bad and couldn’t be used to dry dishes.
- Ramona (8/5): Very good - Convenient location- very central and easy access to all the interesting attractions. No comments
- Geoff (8/5): Very good - Very clean and easy to access not find a toaster?
We ate meals on the deck as weather was good. If we had to eat inside not so good. Stools are unsuitable for old or disabled people. They need to lower and with a back to them.
- Brooke (10/5): Great house -

- Julie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lyndall (10/5): Exceptional -

- Dean (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ashleyandemily (10/5): Fantastic property! Clean, modern and has all the amenities to make for a fantastic and comfortable stay. - Cosy Retreat was the perfect place to stay. It was clean, homely and the owners had thought of everything, from lamps that were phone chargers, a high chair, great washer and dryer, high quality bedding, extra blankets for the couch, fantastic heating and cooling etc.
We honestly couldn’t fault the property and would definitely stay again if we were in Bendigo. We have no complaints
- Georgea (10/5): Cosy and homely with a touch of luxury. - Love the location and it was just the cutest cosiest place to stay. The house is so comfortable and immaculate. Had everything we needed and even our fur baby was taken in to consideration. There’s a doggy bed bowls and even a ball thrower provided. Nothing it was fabulous.
- Lynton (8/5): Fantastic, very positive, would highly recomend. - No breakfast included. Coffee machine fantastic. Close to town. Heating fantastic No dining table inside. For older people, need backs to chairs. Sitting around island bar not really suitable but we managed.
One concern was curtains close to oven
- Cheryl-ann (10/5): The property was very clean and the attention to the customers needs was exceptional -
- Carol (8/5): Central location, clean, comfortable and cosy ! - The living area, sofas and outdoor deck, the washer & dryer & 2 bathrooms great for 4 adults , quilts were cosy as was central heating as the weather was definitely becoming more chilly. The hosts were accessible via App and responded quickly to messages. The request to pay another $70 to access 3rd bedroom , we declined.
The height of the stools in kitchen and cupboards really catered for people that were at least 168 /170cm or taller they were a bit high for me at 1.58.
- Jacqui (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kirsty (9/5): Superb -
- Barb (10/5): Beautiful & comfortable accomodation !! - Superior house, beautiful brand new renovation. Very comfortable beds and amazing aircon !!

Not too far from the town centre.
Would definitely stay there again.
