• David (8/5): - The bed was very comfortable, the shower was great - plenty of pressure The lift wasn't operating, not necessarily the owner's fault but disappointing and a hassle as we were on the third floor, with bikes to cart up and down the stairs.

• Ruth (2/5): Definitely do not recommend. - Not much! Location for our needs was the only thing to like. Almost everything! The ‘cleaner’ was supposed to come & help us with our bags as the lift was out of action, instead, we were offered alternate accommodation….not convenient to our needs. We tried to find it, got lost so returned. The unit is furnished with the cheapest of everything. Chipped & odd plates an example. Nothing was clean. Finger marks all over flat surfaces, dust over all surfaces. No plug for bathroom sink. No mattress cover. Could not open locked windows, even tho it was very hot in the bedrooms. One small towel rail in the bathroom, big enough for one towel. No hand towel, so used lge one. No fire escape instructions. The air conditioners didn’t work as they were SO disgustingly chocked up. I removed all filters. Luckily we only had to stay one night. This unit is definitely probably the worst place I have had the misfortune to have booked.

• Sue (1/5): Filthy dirty.We could not and did not stay here and our advice to you is to avoid this place 100%. ! - The apartment had human hairs in both beds, hair and dirt on the kitchen counter top. Mold in the shower, dirty floors and generally a feeling of being unclean all thru the unit. There were old half used condiment bottles in pantry and half used shampoo/conditioner and body wash in bathroom. Completely unprofessional and disgusting. When we lifted the bottom sheet up, the mattress protectors were covered in yellow stains. Gross! We contacted Bookings.com for a refund and they kept disconnecting our call over and over. We were extremely disappointed that Bookings.com did not stand by us as the consumer and demand a full refund from Serenity on Stromlo. We splurged and paid over $200.00 for one night hoping for a very pleasant stay in Canberra. We wasted 3 hours of our holiday trying to get into this unit and contacting Bookings.com to rectify the problems, they did nothing and then ignored all our emails and disconnected us every time we phoned them asking to apply for a refund. Not good enough Bookings.com! Get rid of this unit off your books please so that no-one else gets ripped off by them!

• Paula (6/5): Great location, lots of mould in the bathroom. - Location was excellent for mountain biking at Mt Stromlo. The bathroom was not clean, the shower had mould all over including the roof and the whole floor looked dirty. If I hadn’t been mountain biking all day, I would bot have stepped foot in that shower.

• Bryan (10/5): Exceptional - Close to Stromlo mtb trails and close to shops. Tidy and comfortable 2 bedroom apartment with cooking and cleaning facilities all included The bathroom door handle was loose. Needs to be screwed back together correctly
• Terry (6/5): Pleasant - the bed configuration not as i was expecting for a cool climate like canberra not having extra blankets not ideal one person went home as nowhere to sleep sliding door missing rollers and bathroom door broken lock chairs had to be replaced as broken

• Catherine (9/5): Superb - Great location for a family. Short drive to all activities we did- Dinosaur Museum, Yarralumla Play Station, Stromlo Splash Park, National Zoo & Aquarium. No more than 20 minute drive to all. Beautiful Views and balcony. Good working Wifi Easy check in instructions. Air Conditioning doesn’t work great, can barely feel air come from it no matter what settings you change on the remote. It wasn’t overly hot weather during our stay but the afternoon Sun made the house a bit muggy. Wouldn’t stay here during hot summer weather. Pillows aren’t the comfiest but they did have many pillows for us.

• Rebecca (5/5): Passable - Roomy and Netflix was available. Easy instructions to access key. It smelt bad. Towels were stained. No coat hangers. No plates to eat off or bowls.
• Janet (9/5): A comfortable, clean and quiet place to stay in Canberra. - Location was great. It was great to look out at the hills. It would be nice if there was a little milk in the fridge for a cuppa!
• Matt (5/5): Good location but poorly maintained and not cleaned well at all. Won’t be staying again - Location for us was good as we came to MTB at Stromlo MTB park. Lock up garage was great and also had a storage lock up for bikes too. Cleaning service was pretty bad. Found left over trash in the lounge and unwashed dishes put away in the cupboard.
