• Kathleen (8/5): Great location 10 minutes from Santa Monica Pier and comfortable accommodation - Two master suites. Very clean and comfortable. Only 5 blocks walk to Ocean Ave Right next to train station. Trains were loud 24-7. Also had to pick up keys at a location two miles away (20 minutes driving time) at an apartment. Wish I’d known about free early check in as I didn’t allow for the extra time and missed my deadline to return my rental car.

Также обязательно нужно связываться по WhatsApp для получения инструкций для заезда/выезда. Очень грязный и липкий пол, грязные сетки на окнах. Окна неплотные и поэтому слышен шум с улицы, громкий шум трамвая. Посуда грязная, нет чая, салфеток, разделочной доски. Если ищете простого заселения и уютных, тихих апартаментов этот вариант точно не подойдёт.

• LI (1/5): - The owner canceled tmy owner one day before my arrival because I asked her where to put the key when check out. I just want to double check if I understand correctly about the instruction She sent after I order the suite since the instruction has complicated steps to check in, check out and park cars, but her attitude is definitely rude and put stress on me to cancel the order from my side one day before my arrival, otherwise I will not get the refund. The result is she canceled it from her side and I need to contact booking to reorder another room with limited time. I have all the chat history to record the whole communication with her. Really bad experience for me.

• Karine (10/5): Excelente custo/benefício e localização perfeita pra quem quer ficar perto da praia e do Píer de Santa Monica. - Apartamento é perfeito, novinho, dois quartos bem grandes e iluminados, os banheiros tb igualmente grandes e com banheira, amei a cozinha, além de completa tb é espaçosa e os itens ficam bem dispostas. A sala de estar tem um sofá incrível e uma tv enorme que as crianças adoraram também, com Wi-Fi e vários serviços de streaming disponíveis. Garagem ampla, acesso fácil, auto check in e check out. Super bem localizado, com Target Grocery na esquina, pertinho do Píer de Santa Monica e de um shopping. Realmente recomendamos, foi incrível. Tem uma estação de bondinho que passa ao lado do prédio que o barulho incomoda um pouco no começo, mas logo nos acostumamos e qdo estávamos de saída já nem percebíamos mais.

• Rahel (1/5): Komplizierter Ablauf - Die Lage ist perfekt, zum Santa Monica Pier sind es nur wenige Minuten zu Fuss. Waschmaschine und Trockner sind in der Wohnung vorhanden und stehen kostenlos zur Verfügung. Die übrige Ausstattung ist zweckmässig und ausreichend. Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber und die Schlüsselübergabe waren sehr kompliziert und zeitraubend. Der Schlüssel musste ca. 15 Minuten entfernt abgeholt werden. Dies wurde uns erst einen Tag vor Ankunft mitgeteilt. Wir kamen am Ankunftstag mit dem Auto aus San Diego. Da wir unsere genaue Ankunftszeit nicht vorhersagen konnten, haben wir 16 Uhr als grobe Schätzung angegeben. Wir waren ca. eine halbe Stunde früher am Übergabeort. Der Schlüssel sollte an der angegebenen Adresse deponiert sein. Wir haben keinen Schlüssel gefunden und den Gastgeber kontaktiert. Per Telefon war niemand erreichbar. Erst nach mehreren Versuchen wurde uns per Nachricht mitgeteilt, dass wir warten müssen und der Assistent mit dem Schlüssel unterwegs sei. Zum vereinbarten Zeitpunkt öffnete sich dann plötzlich eine Terrassentür und ein Junge, der keine Auskünfte geben konnte, gab uns den Schlüssel. Das Appartment wird als luxeriös angepriesen. Tatsächlich scheint der Mietpreis auch sehr hoch zu sein. Der Ausbaustandart ist aber alles andere als luxuriös. Waschmaschine und Tumbler sind so laut, man kann sich kaum mehr normal im Wohnzimmer unterhalten. Wenn eine Person am Morgen duscht, ist jeder andere in der Wohnung wegen der Lautstärke hellwach. Die Fenster sind undicht. Man wird also früh am Morgen vom Verkehrslärm (Strassenbahn) geweckt. Am Abreisetag hatten wir schlechtes Wetter (Regen, Wind). Der Wind war bei geschlossenen Fenstern trotzdem im Schlafzimmer spürbar. Im Appartment findet man keine gerade Wand. Die Vorhänge der Fenster lassen sich deshalb nicht komplett öffnen bzw. schliessen. Der Parkplatz konnte im Voraus nicht gebucht werden. Das Geld ($15/Tag) musste bei Abreise bar in der Wohnung deponiert werden. Im Lift steht ein deutlicher Hinweis des Eigentümers, dass Untervermietung wie B & B verboten ist. Man kommt sich die ganze Zeit illegal vor. Bei Abgabe einer negativen aber ehrlichen Bewertung wird man umgehend konfrontiert und der Lüge bezichtig. Unprofessionell.

• REINER (9/5): Perfekte Location um einige Tage in LA zu verbringen. - Sehr modern und eine sehr gute Lage zum Santa Monica Pier. Parken war in der Tiefgarage möglich. Supermarkt und Restaurants sind um die Ecke und zu Fuß zu erreichen.

It was in a great location only a very short stroll from the Peer as well as close to restaurants and a Target. That I didn't book more days to stay there! Overall it was a great room.

• Jennifer (1/5): RUDE, COMPULSIVE LIAR, WHO PHONED ME WITH INSULTS - Location was ok, about a 15 minute walk to the beach and pier. The apartment was lovely, however the furnishings and everything in it were on the cheaper side and only 1 bedside lamp in each room, no other lighting, so hard to see when arriving at 7.30 at night. RUDE HOST WHO CALLED ME WITH INSULTS One bathroom had hand soap and the other did not. Neither ensuite had shower soap or shower gel. Apparently this is because the property is ‘green’, but can bring own non-green items?? We’re advised that personal toiletries were not supplied. Thought basic hand soap would be supplied as a matter of hygiene. Beds were uncomfortable. Rooms could do with better lighting, only one bedside lamp in rooms. Kept host updated re time of our arrival, which was 7.15 to collect keys, and arrived at apartment at 7.15pm. We were previously advised check in was 4:00pm, so 7:30pm arrival at property is hardly an early check in. We left money for parking on counter and took photo, as advised, we bumped into host as we were left so didn’t send photo as she was heading into the apt. She later thanked me for it on WhatsApp and wished us a safe journey and that we were now family!!! Once host had read my review, she phoned through WhatsApp and called me every swear word, and vile insult you could imagine, calling me an F… C… and other vulgar names. I wouldn’t expect those names and words from anybody, much less a female and was highly offended by her call. She also sent WhatsApp msgs, a barrage of insults, vile name calling and swearing, same as when she called me. I have passed these onto bookings.com at their request, who were most shocked and they are taking it up with her. My advice, don’t leave a review if you stay, and block her number, as I now have. I feel she is dangerous all because I’d left my original review, which was not a bad review, but honest review about lighting and soap. We did NOT break any lamp, as she states, so she either has us mixed up with someone else or is a liar. We did NOT receive any emails or contact from her in this regard. And we did pay for parking, which she thanked me for. Can proved all screenshots to support this. I changed my original good review to reflect the horrendous treatment we have received.
• Christophe (9/5): A great option in Santa Monica - Great location Brand new appartement, very confortable with all you need to cook and relax Easy communication via WhatsApp Car park below the building 2 supermarkets round the block We were super happy with our stay If you have a light sleep you might be a bit bothered by the noise of the metro/tram passing ar the foot of the building. I used ear plugs. It won't be pitched dark to sleep as the blinds are not fully opaque. You need to collect the keys at a different location (5 minutes by car) but all instructions were very clear and it was easy to find.
• Marcin (1/5): Unacceptable behavior of the owner who cancelled the booking last minute leaving my family with no place to stay at 8 pm - Long story short: 3 days before arrival I received a list of policies I have to obey including no permission to contact anyone at apartment building such as neighbors maintenance crew etc. I had the impression that my stay at the apartment would be somewhat illegal because of short term rental policy in Santa Monica but it was obligatory for my stay so I agreed. The owner informed me that the earliest check in should take place at 4 pm however on the day of my arrival it turned out that I would be later - at about 7pm. In that moment it turned out that the owner is available only till 4 pm so I asked who will assist me in case of an emergency after 4 pm hence I cannot contact anyone at the apartment. This question (which still remains unanswered) changed the atmosphere of our conversation. She felt visibly threatened. I was driving the car and was unable to respond. After an hour, she notified Booking that I am not responsive and informed me that from now on I should contact Booking. At 19:45 when I was supposed to receive the keys to the apartment at the agreed place it turned out that she just canceled my reservation which was booked 6 months earlier. She did not pick up the phone neither from me nor Booking. She left me and my family with no place to stay. I write this opinion to warn you because I wish nobody what happened to me. Spare yourself the trouble and stay away from this offer!!!

Apartment was clean, spacious and a great location, secure building made us feel safe. Plan to return in December. There is nothing that I like. We enjoyed the free coffee.

Would have been great to have basic amenities like shampoo and body wash… A bit of complication when checking in - had to pick up keys from a different location which may not be convenient for those coming via taxi.

• Nina (6/5): overall quite pricey and imo not worth the money, quite loud - nice & spaceous apartment with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms functioning kitchen very close to the pier beds were quite unconfortable very loud appartment (railway is very close and you hear it at night) + also neighbours were loud and you could hear them moving around during the night quite a lot, so it was hard to sleep had to pay 30 usd extra for private parking

We walked everywhere, so it was so easy to come and go throughout the day – staying anywhere else would have been a hassle. Bedrooms are very private – opposite side of apartment. Bathrooms are brand new & attached to both bedrooms. Absolutely no complaints. Nice touch w/free coffee (thank you). Host is amazing.

• Antonio (10/5): Exceptional - FABULOUS HOLIDAY! Wonderful host. Arrived with a code to enter garage, parking was easy, close to elevator, and then another code to enter the door. Apartment is beautiful: very spacious, and plenty of light. Each bedroom has a connecting bath and separated by the LR and Kitchen = max privacy. BEST location to see LA. We booked another place based on the photos and reviews (mostly fake we figured out later). Harper saved our vacation.

Fortunately, the host made sure I found everything okay. The apartment itself was comfortable. At first, the checkout felt like an escape room experience to my travel-weary brain. Lisa and Harper saved our vacation after another host cancelled. VERY spacious, private & clean. Parked and never drove it for a week (except Disneyland). Hosts gave grt restaurant recommendations. Bedroom separated-plenty of privacy-by living room and kitchen. That we could not stay longer.
• Penhaskashi (10/5): Gorgeous apartment, located in best part of SM. - Gorgeous apartment, located in best part of SM, we felt very safe, host made our stay wonderful. We could walk everywhere and didn’t need our rental car. Needed a light bulb, got it in an hour. Both bedrooms are very big and each one have the bathroom attached.
• Zuma (10/5): A great, safe, clean, spacious, cheerful, private flat that was close to everything - wonderful. hos - Gorgeous place, modern, very clean, loved the coffee host provided, kids loved it, bedrooms are separated - tons of privacy for family. Thankfully they took our rez after getting cancelled by another place. We walked everywhere from the apartment, close to freeway and all the places we wanted to go. We wish we could have stayed longer.
