• CHANGKYUN (2/5): 시부야 위치만 믿고 예약했다가 후회한 숙소 – 절대 추천하지 않습니다 - 위치 하나만큼은 인정할 수 있습니다. 돈키호테까지 도보 5분, 시부야역까지 10분, 주요 시부야 동선도 대부분 20분 이내로 이동 가능한 점은 분명 편리합니다. 여행 동선을 짜기에는 부담 없는 위치입니다. 또한 숙소 내에서 간단한 취사가 가능하다는 점도 장점입니다. 근처에서 주전부리를 사와 숙소에서 편하게 먹고 이야기 나눌 수 있는 환경은 분명 여행의 즐거움을 더해주는 요소입니다. 다만, 이 정도의 장점이 있음에도 불구하고 전체적인 숙박 경험을 고려하면 결코 추천하기 어려운 숙소입니다. 위치와 취사 가능 여부만 보고 선택했다면 충분히 실망할 수 있습니다. 실제로 머무르면서 느낀 불편함과 불쾌감은 단순히 “아쉬운 수준”을 넘어서, 다시는 이용하고 싶지 않다는 생각이 들 정도였습니다. 이 숙소를 고려하고 계신 분들이라면, 단순히 위치만 보고 결정하지 않으셨으면 합니다. 분명히 더 나은 선택지가 많습니다. 관리인이 없습니다. 즉, 장기투숙 시 기본적인 수건 관리조차 전부 투숙객 몫입니다. 세탁기와 건조기를 사용하려면 추가 비용까지 직접 부담해야 합니다. 숙박비를 지불하고도 이런 부분까지 스스로 해결해야 한다는 점은 납득하기 어렵습니다. 위치는 분명 중심지에 가깝지만, 그게 오히려 치명적인 단점으로 작용합니다. 주변이 술집과 클럽으로 가득한 유흥가라 밤이 되면 소음이 심각한 수준입니다. 문제는 방음이 거의 되지 않는다는 점입니다. 밖에서 고함을 지르는 소리, 취객들의 소란이 그대로 방 안까지 들어옵니다. 단순히 “조금 시끄러운” 수준이 아니라, 숙면 자체가 어려운 환경입니다. 또한 유흥가 특성상 술에 취한 사람들과 호객행위하는 인원들이 주변에 많습니다. 가족 단위 여행이나 연인과의 여행이라면 이 지역 자체를 피하시는 것을 강하게 권드립니다. 비용을 조금 더 지불하더라도 도겐자카를 벗어난 숙소를 선택하는 것이 훨씬 합리적입니다. 위생 상태 역시 매우 실망스럽습니다. 방 구석에는 먼지가 쌓여 있고, 쓰레기 잔여물도 보이며, 화장실 하수구와 전등 커버에는 눈에 띄는 먼지가 그대로 방치되어 있습니다. 기본적인 청결 관리가 제대로 이루어지고 있다는 느낌을 전혀 받지 못했습니다. 화장실 구조도 심각하게 불편합니다. 공간이 지나치게 협소해 성인 남성이 이용하기에는 거의 맞지 않는 수준입니다. 키 178 기준으로 변기에 앉으면 무릎이 벽에 닿아 장시간 사용이 어렵고, 실제로 다리가 저릴 정도입니다. 휴지 위치 또한 비상식적입니다. 변기 앞쪽, 그것도 샤워 호스 대각선에 위치해 있어 샤워 시 물이 그대로 튀어 휴지가 젖어버립니다. 관리인도 이 문제를 인지한 듯 싱크대 아래에 여분의 휴지를 여러 개 비치해 두었지만, 근본적인 해결은 전혀 되지 않았습니다. 전체적으로 보면, 장점으로 언급할 수 있는 것은 사실상 위치 하나뿐입니다. 그러나 그 위치조차도 숙박의 본질적인 요소인 ‘휴식’과 ‘수면’을 심각하게 방해합니다. 가성비를 따지기 이전에, 기본적인 숙박 환경 자체가 무너져 있습니다. 단순히 가격이나 접근성만 보고 선택하기에는 리스크가 큰 숙소입니다. 정리하자면, 위치 하나 보고 선택하실 바에는 차라리 그 위치를 포기하시길 권드립니다. 여행에서 가장 중요한 수면과 휴식만큼은 반드시 더 나은 환경에서 확보하시기 바랍니다.
• Cherie (1/5): This is not suitable for families. - We were extremely disappointed with this accommodation and left early because it was not fit for our family. The space was far smaller than expected and much smaller than the photos suggest. We understand that bathrooms in Japan can be compact, but this was on another level entirely. Our family is tall, and we were physically hitting the ceiling in the shower. The toilet and shower were so cramped that they were extremely difficult to use and genuinely uncomfortable. Although the accommodation advertises that it allows families of five, this is not a family-appropriate space. Allowing five people gives the impression that it is suitable for families, but in reality it is not. We would not recommend this property for more than two people, and it should not be marketed to families at all. The location was also a major issue. While we wanted to stay centrally in Shibuya, this property is on a dodgy back street that requires walking past multiple adult entertainment venues, with sex workers actively soliciting and street people nearby. This did not feel safe or appropriate for children. The building itself was unpleasant and dirty. Japan is known for its cleanliness, but this block looked like it hadn’t been properly cleaned in a long time. The accommodation was dusty, smelled of cigarettes, and felt unhygienic. This was also the only place we stayed in Japan that did not accept luggage forwarding, even though other non-hotel accommodations we used were able to offer this service. We booked for three nights but could not stay and left early. If you want to stay in Shibuya, we strongly recommend paying more for a proper hotel with hotel-level services. We would not recommend this accommodation at all.
• Simone (7/5): - Was fairly close to the train station and shops Perhaps not the best area of it were a family with young children . Quite noisy until the early morning .

Walking out of the apartment and you are met with a range of restaurants, bars, shopping centres etc - the convenience was the best part Probably best for young couples, single, friends and thise who like to party! =) we were a family of 5 with young kids so the surroundings are probably not suitable for their ages. However, if you are after for convenience it was still comfortable enough. The bath and toilet were a bit small and space is a bit limited. You are paying for high price based on lication pretty much.

• Kirsten (7/5): Great location good price - The property is a great location. It is super close to all the shops and exciting part of Tokyo. Also close to the train station. The main beds were comfortable with good linen. Everything worked as expected. It was too small for our family of 5 with no separation for dressing (we have teen daughters). However I would book again due to location and price
