• Lauren (7/5): Fantastic location, needs maintenance - The washing machine drain was blocked so we had to manually drain the washing machine to finish the load. The showers were so hot they could not be adjusted or used.

• Pauline (1/5): I will never go through booking.com if this is how little care they take over whose properties they allow to use their p - Nothing - we didn’t stay The flat was freezing because the boiler had broken some days before and couldn’t be fixed! We had to find alternative accommodation and lost time and money because of this - all of which would have been known by Urban Chic beforehand as the cleaners must have been in to put out towels and chocolates! It was a disgrace.

• Mar (1/5): I wouldn’t choose that ever again. Host was missing and very unfortunate giving we needed heater - Location Lack of communication, no wifi, no heater… terrible and very smelly
• Kai (4/5): It was okay, but I wouldn't get back into that apartment. - The location was excellent, no doubt about that. Kitchen was clean and good. The cleanliness of the place was not good. The sink in both bathrooms didn't work properly. The water pressure of the showers was very weak. The mattresses of both beds need to get changed. The dust inside the cupboards wasn't nice. Repair work what had been done, didn't get finished (see some of the walls)
• David (7/5): They should have told us about the construction next door. - Location, size Constant construction noise from right next door. The clothes washing machine was bad. Mad the clothes smell horrible and the dryer doesn't work. Television didn't work with satellite.
• Sanae (6/5): - La localisation L'accessibilité à l'appartement n'est pas bien expliqué. J'ai du appelé pour recevoir le digicode avant mon arrivée. Les explications pour retrouver le boitier ne correspondaient pas à la réalité. Nous sommes arrivés à 18h05 le numéro à joindre en cas de problème fonctionne mais nous a indiqué être en dehors des horaires de bureau. Elle a donc escaladé notre problème mais jamais personne ne nous a rapellé. Il n'y a pas de réel numéro d urgence! Nous sommes restés plus de 1h dehors. Et aussi les escaliers sont un énorme point noir. Nous sommes sensé être au 2e étage et pour accéder à la pièce à vivre il faut compter 2 étages supplémentaires. Il faudrait le préciser dans l'annonce je pense.
• Jessica (9/5): A fantastic bang for your buck! Everything you need for a lovely time in London. - Great space, great great great location. All the basics. Great price. I cannot emphasize enough how perfect the location is. We were very happy with our stay. It’s a bit dated and lacking warmth in the decor but considering the price for this location I would say it’s justified. The kitchen is also lovely. If you want more, pay for more. I have no complaints about my stay here and anyone that does isn’t considering all the factors. I suppose if one thing could change, it would be more options for the TV. Thank you for everything and we will stay here again!

Had everything we needed for short stay The two lots of stairs, we are able people but having to go up two flights of stairs was only thing and then another flight of stairs to go to the lounge and kitchen was a bit much. Better if lounge was down stairs and bedrooms up stairs

• Kenneth (6/5): Large flat in a very concenient location. - The location was great, the beds seemed clean and were very comfortbable. We loved having a kitchen and laundry. We loved having two bedrooms and two bathrooms so we didn't have to share with our son. Things that the host could not control - the area could be quite noisy at night. We did not know ahead of time that the flat was the third and fourth floor of the building and we would be doing a lot of walking of stairs. Things the host might be able to control - We are not from the UK and had no idea how to operate the front door lock, so we were anxious and frustrated with getting in. The instructions could have been clearer. The wifi was slow and we needed it for flight check in etc. The dryer didn't work. It might be nice to have instructions. There were instuctions in the flat telling us to leave the keys on the table, which we did, but I think we were supposed to put them back in the lock-box. There should not have been contradictory instructions.

It was 34 degrees out and we had arrived after a long journey No air conditioning and only one fan between 3 floors and 3 rooms Bathroom sink didn’t drain Beds sunken in and too soft Bedroom window chain broken and very dangerous Front door didn’t lock from inside and lock chain broken The list goes on ….
• Lucas (5/5): Was fine. - Amazing location: was nice to have have lots of fresh towels. Good kitchen facilities. Needs some TLC. Carpets getting old, the beds coming off their slats. It was during a heatwave and the apartment windows didn’t all open properly. The internal temperature was 30 degrees. No fans or AC.
• John (1/5): Won’t stay here again. - Location. Right next to Covent Garden tube. Well, firstly, if I knew I would have had to pay ~£150-£300 extra to check in before 3pm, I would not have booked here. This should be communicated before booking. Nowhere to be found in the t&c’s. Secondly, the address on the booking and actual address is not the same. Was like a mystery hunt through the online steps to book in. Then, the key wasn’t in the lockbox! There is like 7 lockboxes, eventually one opened with the code sent. This is the key for the apartment door inside, not the door to the street. For this you need to enter a code on a electronic key entry pad which only activates after you’ve pressed your palm to the whole of the pad. How should I have known this? Got upstairs, the key is the wrong key. Go back to the lockboxes, one other lockbox actually opens with the same code! Finally got the key. Bed is too low. No aircon.

• Chris (1/5): Never book this, left stranded in London. - Location I arrived late evening to find there was no key in the box. After an hour an Uber arrived with a spare set which did not fit. I was left stranded at midnight in central London with no where to stay

Shower in one bedroom extremely small for an adult male. Sink blockage on one bedroom Beds way low and too soft and slats not stable at and of bed
• Agata (5/5): Very good location, but it didn't feel very safe - The location was really good. The apartment was a decent size as well and the kitchen was well equipped. The apartment was a quick walk to the tube station as well. The support was helpful. The instructions for the apartment were supposed to arrive the day before, but we only had that information on the check in day, close to noon. The instructions weren't clear about how to get the keys or how to go inside the building as well. I had to call the support to be able to know how to go inside. The apartment also only has one single lock on the door and it didnt feel very safe.

Would stay again - The property was a great location very central to Covent Garden and easy access to tubes of Covent Garden, Leicester Square and Charring Cross for all networks. The property was easy to find and was all clean and tidy. And had all we needed. N/A
• Aisling (3/5): Good location but lots of issues - Very good location I have been charged an extra £300 on top of the price of the stay without notice or explanation. Waiting for details on this. I have checked the accommodation policies and there is nothing about this anywhere. Also, when we were trying to access the property, there were no details about how to use the lock to enter the front door of the property. Turns out you have to use the palm of your hand and then enter the code but we had to call the property to find this out. They did answer promptly. Property was very loud - dripping noise from the ceiling kept us awake most of the night both nights and beds were also not comfortable, we are both in our early 30s but have come out of our stay with sore backs from the beds!

Room for family Bed was reasonably comfortable - Coffeemaker didn’t function, message about this not answered. - Phone number not always able to reach. - key not in lockbox at 14, which is check-in time - after ringing key was in lockbox, entering the apartment at 14:30 we found the cleaning crew mid clean and answering us agitated on our arrival which was beyond the check-in time. - carpet was dirty - showers were hot and not adjustable. Therefor too hot for two small children.
• Mary (4/5): While the location was excellent the apartment was not suitable for anyone with mobility problems. - The location was excellent. Right in the middle of Covent Garden, next to the Opera House, close to shops, cafes, tube. Well-equipped kitchen. Plenty of towels supplied. 40 steps up to apartment. Narrow staircase with dirty carpet and paintwork. I bedroom so small that the door opened onto the bed. Very small bathrooms. Temperature in showers too hot and could not be adjusted. Looked like student accommodation.
• Jordan (9/5): Superb - Perfect location! Walk out the front door and you are in the middle of Covent Garden shops and restaurants. Tube station around the corner. Nothing that can be helped but just a heads up for those with luggage or physical challenges. There are a lot of steps to get up to the flat and the unit itself is on 3 different levels.

The location was perfect, situated in a vibrant neighborhood with easy access to public transportation, shops, and restaurants.
