Guest Reviews
- Diana (9/5): Superb - The home was beautiful ! It was spacious and accommodating! The three ensuites made our stay very comfortable I wouldn't say I didn't like anything but it was a shame there were some minor maintenance issues with the lighting outside the premises and the curtains in the top bedroom need some attention !we would have liked to have a vacuum cleaner and a hairdryer so just minor issues
- Pat (9/5): A very pleasant stay in a delightful home. - Breakfast wasn't supplied, but we knew this and took our own. The property was cosy and warm on arrival and the furnishings delightful. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds very comfortable. It was a real bonus having ensuites to every room. The under floor heating in the kitchen and dining room made for a pleasant and cosy start to a cool morning. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we could possibly need. An added bonus was the diverse collection of books in the library. We were also pleased with the safe off road parking. There really wasn't anything we didn't like.
- Frances (10/5): Excellent accommodation in a great location. - The property was spotless, had comfortable beds, plenty of space and a fully equipped kitchen. The location was excellent, a very easy short walk into the the gorgeous little town of St Marys.
- Alina (9/5): Great place for family catch up , kitchen was great for shared meals and a beautiful town to explore - Beautiful town to relax with friends
- Julie (10/5): Excellent House, high standard - Fantastic place to stay. We were very pleasantly surprised by the high standard. Beautifully presented, reasonably priced. Warm, cosy, and heaps of room. Highly recommend. We will return.

- Derek (10/5): Stayed 1 night very comfortable and clean -
- Jenna (5/5): Passable - The house was neat and tidy inside. The host were really hard to get onto even when there was an email to say contact them. I have even wrote a message about things that happened while we were staying and we had no response. We ended up having a bird stuck in the fire place, taps in one of the bathroom weren't working and a few other things.
- Kaylene (9/5): Superb - Lovely home, we really enjoyed our stay. Kitchen had all the cooking facilities we needed. Really comfortable beds and loved that each room had its own bathroom.
- Leanne (3/5): Our stay was very unpleasant also rain damage on the kitchen ceiling and constant dripping from damaged ceiling. I did c - Very dusty and smelly. It needed a good air. Broken handles and dirty pots and pans added to our very unsatisfactory stay. No hairdryer and mould under bottles in bathrooms.
Pillows were unclean and no mattress protection provided
- Iman (9/5): Superb -
- Selvaraju (10/5): Pleasant stay - Classical style house, very neat and amazing staying experience. Lot of books to read, kitchen utensils available to cook. It is well organised by Host, perfect communication.
- Sandhya (8/5): Very good -
- Karen (6/5): Pleasant - Good value, location was great, comfortable and clean, Bad wifi, water pressure in one bedroom not good, leak in roof in kitchen, yard not maintained, didn't communicate when text the roof had leaked after rain. Not suitable for children too much breakables. Some maintenance needed to the house, and found two cameras inside the house, one in front doorway facing the interior hall and other on kitchen counter. Bins outside were over full. ||

The kitchen was well stocked with crockery and cooking facilities, and the furniture was all comfortable and well appointed.
- Stephen (10/5): Exceptional -

most of the kitchen ware was provided if there is rice cooker for asian food.
internet connection as I got complaints from my kids but I trained them in ancient style.
- Victor (7/5): Good - In early December, I booked two nights (Jan 4+5) at Addlestone House, a residential home in the small seaside town of St Mary's, on the east coast of Tasmania. The owners replied, saying they would return to me shortly "regarding the practicalities." They did kindly follow up with a restaurant booking in the area for us, but despite three emails asking for details about our stay, including one a few hours before our arrival, no one ever responded to my booking.com communications until after we had left Addlestone House and St Mary's. We never knew whether someone would be waiting for us at the home (there was no one there, and no instructions were left for us), or where to find the key (there was no key; we couldn't lock the doors during our two-night stay.) Not being able to lock the home's front and back doors left us more than a little uneasy, especially the first night. St Mary's is also a little out of the way, either from the Bay of Fires area in the north or Bicheno/Freycinet National Park down the coast. As for the accommodation, it was a complete, three-bedroom, four-bathroom home, with a bright and spacious kitchen, and all was spotlessly clean. Excellent value for the money, especially if two, even three couples, are staying. The owners just need to communicate the basics -- and provide a key -- before guests arrive, not after they've left. Cheers, Victor
- Deb (6/5): Location and size of property was great but overall we were very disappointed - The location and size The bathrooms were not clean, hair was on the floor in both showers. The outside of the house and windows was covered in cobwebs. The bins were full and smelled terrible we couldn’t fit our rubbish and had to place it on top. The lawns had not been mowed for a long time as the weeds were very high and unkept. The entrance at the back was very untidy and not pleasant. No wifi, is very unusual for any accommodation. No iron or hairdryer is also very unusual.
We travel a lot and I haven’t stayed in accommodation for a long time that presented the way this place did. Very disappointing for the money we paid.
- Wilmars (9/5): Superb - House was very comfortable for 6 adults. Good location, easy walk into town.
- Anishah (10/5): Fabulous - The place was immaculate, had everything needed to feel home - everything has been thought of. Such a lovely peaceful vibe to the place. Located near the centre of St Mary's. Check in and check out were seamless.
