The flat is spacious and spotlessly clean, extremely well equipped to include luxury toiletries, washing powder,washing upliquid, dishwasher tablets ,rubbish bags etc. Kitchen equipment and facilities are great with full oven and huge fridge/ freezer!
The three bedrooms are spacious with plenty of storage and there is good storage for boots and skis etc
Blackcomb mountain gondola is a 10 minute walk away but a no 5 bus also stops just outside the complex which will take you there in a few minutes and also on to Whistler village . Spicy Sports at Blackcomb gave great service for boot and ski hire
We didn’t feel the need for a car at all, having come uo from Vancouver with the excellent coach service and made trips to the large supermarket at Market placeusing a number 5 bus to the village and then connect with a number 4 bus from there . There is a covered garage though which connects directly into the house if you do bring a car.
For non skiers, there is plenty to do and the trails to Lost Lake etc start just across the road. The cultural centre is within easy walking distance and the Scandinavian Spa is such a treat( we just picked uo a taxi in the village centre to get there )
I would highly recommend this property. A log of thought has gone into making it a real home from home . Earlier in the season, it would be possible to ski to the gondola at Blackcomb, but the walk isn’t bad
