• Kellie (7/5): spacious apartment but toilet was not ideal - - well equipped with all the essentials we needed. We were very impressed with the bathroom slippers and disposable indoor slippers provided for us. - the towels were wrapped in plastic so it felt extra clean - responsive and helpful staff, responded promptly to our questions over wechat and quickly sent over more toilet paper when we were out - safe neighbourhood - a short walk from the metro station - ample chairs - air conditioner / heater worked very well throughout our stay - many dustbins around the flat - spacious apartment - high floor so it was quiet - the toilet smell like sewage. The toilet was clean when we arrived. The only problem was the smell. We realised that the smell was present in the city and the neighbourhood in general. We are not too familiar with the smell but it smelled like sewage to us. Only the toilet had that smell so we kept the door closed, with the ventilation switched on. The smell did not go away but at least it was contained. - the toilet had no floor mat so that was slightly uncomfortable. We found a wet cloth that looked like a floor mat hanging to dry in the bedroom but that looked gross so we didnt touch that. - we are not used to being unable to flush toilet paper away and having to throw them into the bin. - the apartment was overall clean but some parts (eg. the bedside table and the sheets) were slightly dusty. - one of use felt itchy after sitting on the sofa so none of us hung out at the sofa area throughout our stay there. - the dining table was abit of a squeeze even though we were only a party of three.

The staff allowed late check out for our family. The building itself is old and long wait time for the elevator during peak hours and when one is under maintenance. The washing machine and dryer were a bit loud as it's located next to the living room. The bathroom doors are slightly inconvenient for family members as it's slightly see through. The projector screen is a bit unclear.

The heating was also sufficient and the water heater works pretty well too - thou the heat might not be enough if 2 bathrooms are in use at the same time. • Koma (10/5): - 予約後から何度かホストの方とやり取りをし、とても丁寧なご案内をいただいていました。チェックイン時間は15時からでしたが、その前に荷物を預けたいという希望にも対応していただき、こちらのチェックイン手続きが遅かったのですが、ホストの方が手続きを行なってくれて大変助かりました。部屋は南京西路駅から徒歩10分ほどでしたが、地図アプリを使うと分かりやすかったですし、夜中に歩いても安全でした。すぐ近くに自然史博物館があり、南京西路駅には美味しい食べ物のお店が沢山あって、とても便利なロケーションでした。さらに部屋は最上階にあり、上海の夜景を部屋からも楽しむことができました。家族６人で泊まっても十分な広さで、とてもよかったです。

• Dlee (9/5): Great host & perfect for family! - It was a little difficult to find this place for the first time from the nearest metro station. However, with didi, you'll arrive right below the building. The host is really great in making sure that we have everything we needed through the messaging app, WeChat. When we ran out of laundry detergent, toilet roll and drinking water, he got these delivered to us at the door in very short interval. The 7 of us in the family stayed comfortably in this big house. On our last day, we were allowed for late check-out so we do not need to tow (and store) our luggages elsewhere. Above all, the apartment made us felt like living in our second home. The shower drainage is poor so the water is usually at our ankle's level when we take a shower. It's probably not the problem with this unit alone but the entire building's layout.

Huge savings compare to hotel stay. - The Air B&B is an actual apartment in a local neighborhood in the middle of the City (HuangPu district)..near upscale hotels. You can DiDi right in front of the building or you can walk there and experience what locals experience. The apartment has two bedrooms (3 double beds and a sofa) with a full kitchen, washer and dryer, a balcony with a crib too. The host provided very good instructions to access the place, checkin was a breeze. Communications was all through WeChat. The shower didn't have any door or curtain causing a big wet mess after taking a shower. I provided feedback to host. Hopefully, it will be taken seriously.

Owner also provided us with many cartons of drinking water direct from the water dispenser which is more than sufficient for our group. Toilet usage is still using the traditional method. Meaning we cannot throw the toilet paper into the toilet. Needs a little bit of getting used to.

We had a 2 bedroom apartment which is of a good size and well designed. Landlord is responsive and helpful. We like the smart projector which provides a wide choice of entertainment. I understand the cleaning is subcontracted to a third party who is not doing a good job. There is a layer of grime around the edges of the bathroom. I would suggest that the landlord renovates the bathroom. It is quite impossible to keep the floor clean and dry. The heater cum ventilator in the bathroom was not working. I was quite surprised to find that there is only one toilet cum bathroom in the whole apartment.

We had a 3 bedroom apartment which is of a good size and well designed. It is definitely bigger than the 120 sqm listed. Landlord is responsive and helpful. We like the smart projector which provides a wide choice of entertainment. This apartment looks like newly renovated yet cleanliness still needs improvement. We had to thoroughly cleaned the apartment ourselves with the equipment provided.
• Tja-tja (6/5): Pictures are misleading - The location is good, spacious apartment, nice view. We could check-in early but communication could have been better It is an old apartment, bathrooms could use a deep clean. Pictures look way better than in real life, beds are very hard and couch is not comfortable. Kitchen should be equipped better with bowls, glasses etc.
• Lizbeth (5/5): Apartment stay are still preferred for larger family, location and cleanliness are important. - The Convenience of doing laundry ouselves. The water heater is not working properly especially in this cold weather, no full size mirror, the bed was old and hard with spring noise every time you turn or seat on it. There was a foul smell when entering the house, it became less when you air the house but the smell still lingers.
• Lilin (10/5): The landlord helps to store luggage, the bedding is soft, the room is tidy, and the view is high-rise. - I had an absolutely delightful stay at this hotel. The host was incredibly warm and helpful, especially with arranging luggage storage. The bed was so soft, and the room was spotless and hygienic. The view of the Bund was breathtaking, adding to the charm of the stay. It was also convenient to pay the bill via Alipay. My trip to Shanghai was nothing short of perfect! Perfect
• Pingzhi (10/5): The bed is like a cloud, the room's huge, and it's a breeze storing bags at the subway station! - I highly recommend this apartment! It's super accessible, spacious enough for five, has cozy beds, complete amenities, and two really convenient bathrooms. Plus, the host was fantastic—cleaned early, allowed us to leave our luggage, helped us with check-in registration.
• Lan (10/5): Stunning city views, clean and cozy beds, and the host assisted us with checking in and registering our guest informatio - The room is clean, modern, and well-designed. The bedroom is quiet, the bed is cozy, the bathroom has a window, and the kitchen appliances are easy to use. Package delivery was smooth; we ordered online before arriving and they were at our doorstep. Our host recommended a convenient luggage storage at Nanjing West Road subway station.
• Kristina (7/5): Shanghai Experience - The location was fantastic, within walking distance of major attractions, and even closer by metro. The neighborhood had a convenient local supermarket open until midnight, which was a big plus. The apartment was generally fine, though it was a bit chilly for some of us in November. The host was helpful during our stay, offering advice on local stores and amenities when asked. At check-in, we realized the apartment differed slightly from the one we had booked, with some noticeable discrepancies in the photos. The kitchenware was lacking.
• Madamair (9/5): Superb - The location is good, not too far from Train station (W.Nanjing), many convenient stores and mini marts around area, quiet and great host. Should have more kitchenware.
• Siwaporn (10/5): Exceptional - Nice and clean room.Well decoration as show in the picture with full equipment. Location is perfect close to metro. Recommend!!
