Jiri (7/5): - Blízkost veřejné dopravy. Vybavení kuchyně a příjemný jídelní/odpočinkový prostor. Ubytování v suterénu, kde bylo dost horko naštěstí šlo otevřít okno. Bohužel v době našeho pobytu netekla teplá voda ani v kuchyni. Takže i když jsme měli koupelnu, teplá voda byla až v nejvyšším patře. Překvapily nás toalety na patrech ne u pokojů. Byly ale vždy dostupné a čisté.

Rory (3/5): Room not as described, avoid! - Bed was fairly comfortable and shower was good, reasonably clean. The listing on here said it had a private bathroom and toilet, there was no toilet in our room so we had to use one upstairs. The room directly outside our door was a laundry room which was very hot and humid, no ventilation as the room is in the basement. The light in the bathroom broke after the first night. We came back on the first night to find the door to ur room wide open. I messaged the property on here and got no response.

Leal (9/5): Excelente ubicación. - La ubicación es muy buena, muy cercana al metro, con un centro comercial abierto muy cercano, la cocina preciosa y enorme con todo lo necesario y más, fueron muy accesibles con el check in y el check out, permitieron que dejemos las valijas. Maria siempre fue muy amable con nosotros. No funcionaba el secarropa, el baño no se limpió en los 5 días estuvimos en la casa. No estaba claro muy claro qué cosas se podían utilizar o no de la cocina, faltaban instrucciones de uso de los electrodomésticos.
Martyna (6/5): - Na plus zdecydowanie lokalizacja oraz możliwość wcześniejszego zameldowania. Dużym udogodnieniem była również wspólna kuchnia - dobrze wyposażona i dostępna dla gości. Wspólna łazienka także na plus. Niestety ściany i stropy były bardzo cienkie, przez co było słychać praktycznie wszystko z korytarza i sąsiednich pokoi, również chodzenie innych gości. Pokój był opisany jako z dostępem do tarasu, jednak taras był wspólny i dostęp mieli do niego wszyscy goście, co było trochę mylące. Dodatkowo przy wyjściu na taras znajdowała się zaschnięta plama wyglądająca jak wymiociny, która nie została posprzątana.

Lou (6/5): - Excellent location. Good communication and information ahead of arrival. The basement room is problematic. It is opposite a dryer room so red hot. The window was insecure and didn't open properly to help get some air. The shower in the room and tap water was cold...15 mins of running through lukewarm at best. Pointless having a shower in the room and no toilet. Everything else was fine for the money.

Sehr grosse Küche mit allem was man braucht Außerhalb des Zimmers war alles sehr großzügig Das Zimmer lag im Untergeschoss mit einem Fenster, dass sich zuerst nicht öffnen ließ. 2. Das Zimmer hatte ein eigenes Badezimmer, aber OHNE Toilette ( zum WC müsste man eine Treppe höher gehen, rel.langer Weg) Anstatt Dusche, wäre mir eine Toilette wichtiger gewesen !!!

Norah (6/5): Sympa mais kan sa - Nous avons aimer la taille et le fait que la cuisine soit pratique et bien équipée. La chambre était mignonne. Nous n’avons pas apprécié que la chambre soit en sous sol sans possibilité de pouvoir ouvrir une fenêtre. Car ce n’était pas clair hand on a réservé. Nous n’avons pas aimé le fait qu’il n’y ait pas de mirroir dans la salle de bain et la télé ne marchait pas.

Bea (4/5): No volvería, pero la zona está bien - La ubicación " this double room includes a private bathroom with a walk-in shower" pues de bathroom NADA, teníamos que salir fuera de la habitación al baño compartido. La ducha y el lavabo no tragaban bien el agua. Las almohadas eran papel de fumar, incomodísimas. El edredón corto y había dos pequeñas "mantas" que no abrigaban nada. Estabamos en el sótano -2, lugar donde tienden la ropa...Mal aislado, se escuchaban ruidos de otras habitaciones y de fuera. Recibí las instrucciones para entrar, le comuniqué que llegaríamos más tarde de lo previsto porque nos habían retrasado el vuelo (solo por informar, ya que la llegada es autónoma) y me contestaron cuando ya nos habíamos ido...como para pedir que me cambiaran de habitación a una con baño (que es lo que había seleccionado)

María (10/5): Excelente - Nos sentimos muy cómodos en todo momento, tiene una cocina súper amplia con todo lo necesario, paradas de autobuses y metros muy cerca entre 5-10 minutos andando, Camden Town a 20 minutos andando. Por poner una pega, el baño empezó a oler regular, pero nada importante.

Lorenzo (7/5): Mas calor que en pleno agosto en almería. - Me gusto la ducha , era bastante buena . Hacia una calor de perros, la calefacción a 50°C por lo menos, era imposible dormir ahí, teníamos que dormir casi desnudos. El último día encontramos la solución y apagamos la calefacción, ah y la habitacion no tiene baño propio.

Lindsey (5/5): A rather bizarre collection of bedsits, but OK for the money. - Well what to say? It was an adventure. The entrance and hallway looked promising - clean and organised, nice big shared kitchen space and clean shared bathrooms but then... Our 'deluxe' room was in the basement next to the cleaning supplies and random bits of furniture. We had a 'shower room' but no hot water and no toilet. There was an icy draught from the window and the only source of heat was in our 'shower room'. So I slept with a wooly hat on since it was below freezing outside. To be fair, there was hot water in the bathrooms upstairs. And it was clean. In the end what else can we expect from a cheap room in London? Just don't insult our intelligence by calling it 'deluxe' !

Also, we also had a question about a late check-out so we contacted them through Booking and WhatsApp, but they only replied a day after our stay. They didn’t even check who was messaging, just responded that a late check-out wasn’t possible because new guests were arriving.

La cuina fantàstica i amb tots els estrits Potser li recomanaria al propietari que possi borsetes de té a l, habitació i que recordi que en els serveis inclouen productes d,higiene i no hi havia sabó per a la dutxa. No es important. I tornaré a reservar segurament després de Nadal.

Constanza (9/5): Lo recomiendo! - En general todo muy bueno! La pieza bonita y cómoda. Un poco cara para mí sola, pero si se alojan efectivamente tres personas, el precio es adecuado. Las instalaciones son excelentes (cocina, baños, etc.). El día del check out mi avión salía en la noche y pude quedarme en el hostal durante el día sin problema, cosa que agradezco mucho. El suelo crujía mucho con las pisadas de las personas que dormían arriba. Las piezas tiene mala aislación de ruido, sería genial que arreglaran eso. Lo otro un poco extraño fue que no había comunicación con la persona dueña del hostal. Me escribió el primer día dándome todas las indicaciones amablemente, pero después nunca respondió a otros menajes que le envié ni lo vi nunca.

Lydia (10/5): Perfect! - Beautiful place, exceptionally clean and comfortable. Right by Camden Town, location was 10/10. Will definitely book again soon. Great facilities everything you would need. Feel like a home away from home. Honestly couldn’t have asked for a better stay.
Stephanie (8/5): - The Room was huge and lovely. On the pictures it looks it bit nicer than it was. No need for the small fridge and all in the room. As it was on the pictures, i think it would be perfect. The house owner was really lovely, as i had a few bug's in my room first and he cleaned it again next morning and pulled the bed over to make sure there is nothing anymore. Really lovely. The location is as well really good. Even everything seems to be lovely, it was loud. Really loud. Smashing doors and i could hear the people above me talking till late at night. And everyone who wants to stay there, should keep in mind, it's an old house. But whatever I complain about, i clearly would love to stay there again.

van Duren (7/5): Goede plek. Hygiëne prima in orde. De huurder (dat ben ik) zal minimaal vooraf beter moeten lezen. - De locatie was goed. De accommodatie was ook uitstekend schoon gemaakt. Ik had niet vooraf niet in de gaten dat ik in de kelder belandde. Twee mogelijkheden: slecht gelezen mijnerzijds (= huurder) of slechte informatie anderzijds (= verhuurder). Ik zou het antwoord niet weten. Ik adviseer trouwens om in de doucheruimte een spiegel op te hangen. Die ontbreekt ten zeerste. Verder zou ook wel even vermeld mogen worden dat de televisie alleen zinvol is bij het geabonneerd zijn (door de huurder) op streamingsdiensten zoals Netflix e.d. Het kijken naar bekende zenders zoals bijvoorbeeld BBC 1, 2 enz. is blijkbaar uit de tijd (activiteit verhuurder). Zal wel ouderwets zijn.

Marcin (2/5): Dirty. - Location was only good thing about this place. Our room was dirty — the bed sheets had visible stains and clearly hadn’t been washed. There were also hairs and what seemed like sand or dust in the bed. The property had told us they would provide coffee and tea in the room, but there was no coffee and only one tea bag. It was also clear that the room had not been cleaned before our arrival. Additionally, the room we booked had very poor ventilation, making it hard to breathe, especially since the only source of air circulation was an old fan.

Nora (6/5): Great location for the price, however the room was satisfactory. - The location was really good, it’s close to the tube/train station so we were able to explore various areas of london easily. The shared kitchen was spacious and the shared toilets were kept clean. Overall, a great price for the location. The basement airflow was unbearable in the summer heat, even with the fan provided. Neighbours made a lot of noise up until midnight during both nights of our stay. The basement room’s window also led out to the back garden, so there wasn’t much privacy when it was open. Another problem we had was that our sink plug got stuck and would drain incredibly slowly.

Julie (7/5): Nothing deluxe about this room, but reasonable price for London - - The on site staff is nice and welcoming - The shared toilets and kitchen are clean - The shower is in good working order, there is sufficient pressure and warm water at any hour - There's no cellphone reception in this basement room but the wifi is good - The price is reasonable compared to other options in London - The description of the room is partially deceptive. It says there's a "garden view" when the room is actually in the basement and the window offers a view on cement stairs (see picture) - The basement is warm and stuffy compared to the rest of the house. The fan is not enough to make the conditions more bearable, especially for sleeping. This room should not be rented during the warm months - The walls are very thin, there is no soundproofing. We could only sleep when the neigbhours decided to turn their tv off, sometimes after midnight.
Martin's (5/5): Relitiveky ok accommodation near Camden - The location is pretty good near Camden, only 10 mins walk from Kentish Town Underground station. The room was a large room for its location, which was good. I liked the balcony doors, they were certainly needed when I left them open overnight on the hot weekend in which I was staying there. There were several things I didn't like that were memorable. The bed and pillows were not particularly comfortable, passable, but not the best. The room was not hovered before I arrived. It was overall relatively clean, but could have been cleaner. Both the shower rooms had issues with them, such as the shower door not closing in the upstairs one, and the shower/bath tap adjuster not working in the downstairs one. These are routine maintenance things in a place like this that should just get fixed when needed and not just left, especially with shared facilities. For the price I paid being on my own, I expected more, so I don't think I would stay again.

Langshaw (7/5): Basic but clean and good value accommodation - The communal kitchen is one of the largest I have ever seen in a private house. Well stocked with utensils and there was plenty of tea and coffee. The person on hand was very helpful. Shame the bathrooms weren't ensuite but there were plenty of facilities and if one was in use there was always another one free. Check-in was a little tricky. The instructions - the lock box code - I was given were incorrect. I called them and they answered quite quickly. They gave me the correct code over the phone and I was then able to enter. Later I tried to get wi-fi but again the instructions they had given me were incorrect - fortunately there was someone on hand who had the correct details and he was able to give them to me. I think they have recently changed entry method and wifi, but they do need to update the information they give to clients. Also the double bed was oddly pushed against the side wall; the room was large so we moved the bed over so the bed could be accessed from both sides.
Chrystal (4/5): Convenient but a lot of unfortunate issues - The location was ideal for us, close to shops and underground stations and walking distance from Camden Town. Easy to access. The communal areas of the building were nice, and the bed was comfortable. Staff seemed kind when we occasionally saw them. Plenty of plug sockets in the room and amenities, hairdryer, iron, fridge, etc. Unfortunately, we were given the room located in the basement, which was so uncomfortably hot and not well ventilated. We managed to get the window open, but it wasn't easy to use (1 window that only opened wide like a door over the bed, so didn't feel particularly safe). We also used a fan that we found in the hallway; the heat would have been unbearable without it! I didn't sleep very well at all. The bedding had some stains, and the room was quite small, couldn't get the TV or WiFi to work, absolutely no signal in the room, and we could hear noise from the floor above. Our bathroom was just a shower and sink, but we were aware this was possible when booking based on other reviews, but going upstairs every time we needed the toilet was a bit inconvenient. The shower made an awfully loud noise when using hot water. No shampoo or conditioner was provided. All in all, our stay was satisfactory, in a good location, and the staff/owners were pleasant (not sure if they lived there or were just around working?) It was just a bit of a strange stay, like a house share, really. Did the job for a couple of nights, and I imagine it would have been nicer in a different room, but it wasn't great for us, sadly.
Mark (6/5): Fair for the money - Located very close to Kentish Town tube station, which is now open again, so easy to access all points north and south. It was clean and tidy. It was secure. It was quiet. It was comparitively spacious. You can come and go without restriction. Massive shared kitchen with twin hobs and several fridges - obviously you're likely to eat out if on a break, but its there if you want it. Private bathroom. Cheap. Boiler not fired up on first morning, so had to ask staff to reset and then wait 30 minutes for a shower. TV is internet-based rather than ariel or dish, which appears to be relayed by numerous modems throughout the building; fine when it works, but we were without TV (and therefore news) for the second 24 hours of our 48 hour stay. We were able to get round it by bouncing off of one of our mobies, but life shouldn't be that difficult. Finally, Camden Rooms or no, its a good 20-25 minute walk to Camden town centre. Which isn't necessarily a problem on the way in, but is a bit more laborious on the way back carrying lots of shopping, full of beer and Chinese buffet! However, there is a decent bus service running from Archway down through Camden, and the tube is just the one stop from Kentish Town of course, plus there are taxis if you prefer to be mugged gently without violence, so none of this should put you off. It's do-able.

Marija (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful authentic neighborhood, lovely brick house, view into the green back yard. My room had shared bathroom, but the facilities are on every floor, so our bathroom was right next door, and I never met anyone else there. The room was unusually spacious by London standards. You are usually lucky if you are able to walk around your bed, but here we even had an extra sofa. The room had everything we needed: wifi, a working hair dryer, even an extra plug adapter. There is also a huge shared kitchen downstairs. It looks very modern and well equipped. In one of the bathrooms, the shower switch needs fixing, and when I used the one on the second floor, the water was not hot enough, just tepid.
Amanda (4/5): Walls are not soundproof - There was a bath and the shared kitchen was well equipped, walking distance to the tube and other travel methods The room is certainly not soundproof; as soon as we as sat down in our room after several hours of travelling, we recognized that we could hear it every time someone walked in the stairs, walked to and from the kitchen, talked in the kitchen and had a bath, going so far as to hear it every time the person moved in the tub. There was also a pipe next to my head which made a noise for several minutes after the toilet was flushed. The bed was also not comfortable and my back is recovering from springs sticking into it for two nights. The stay is also dependent on the guests. Someone, who I assume was a guest as I didn't see them, chose to turn the light off from the outside while I was washing my hands in the bathroom, having seen the bathroom was locked and me saying I was still using the facilities. Someone was also drying bed linen on the table and chairs in the shared dining room. Tried to raise with owners during our stay however after being told there may have been a misunderstanding we heard nothing else from them.

Viktória (6/5): Pleasant - When we arrived the key to the front door was not were it supposed to be, we had to wait for someone to come and open the door. In the same evening they changed the lock, but the new istructions how to get inside were very very poor. Next day we had to wait again for someone to open the door and then explain how to get inside. Also there was a trash in the bin when we arrived, so we had to hope that only this thing was not cleaned in the room. Bed was not very much confortamble either. Otherwise it was nice, location was very good, close to the Camden town with nice restaurants, pubs, etc.
Sinead (7/5): Good rooms near Kentish Town - The room was very secure and clean, nothing too fancy but it was comfortable and spacious. Located within close walking distance to Kentish town, it was near to the venue were going to. The check in / out process was very easy also (other than brief confusion with the locks!). We arrived late after our flight the first night, so it was nice to have such a quick check in. Shared bathroom was handy enough too, we never had an issue with it being available, and it was kept clean. The locks changed halfway through our stay, I got an email to say there was a new code, which I assumed was for the lock-box, as it said "main box from where you find the keys". However, it was for a new touch screen lock that in the dark didn't immediately stand out as being touch activated. It also meant the key was no longer needed, so we arrived back very confused at about 11PM (granted we were tired, or maybe we'd have figured it out quicker!) Thankfully someone was there to let us in, and explain the new lock, not sure if they worked there or just a helpful fellow customer

Dean (3/5): Poor - The room itself was fine, it was spacious and clean upon arrival. However, there were multiple issues throughout our 3 night stay that made it disappointing. The first may differ from room to room, but the one we stayed in was very noisy. We were able to hear the occupants of the room above walking around their room very clearly, and they did this all through the night. The room was next to the bathroom and kitchen, which meant you were disturbed whenever someone used the facilities. People were using these at all hours of the night, which made it very difficult to get a good night's sleep. The worst part of the stay was when someone took the key to the building from the lockbox. We were unable to enter the property, and had to call three times before we could speak with someone to let us in. We were told "a colleague is coming to let you in." This colleague turned out to be a 6 year old child, on her own. It seemed like he sent a child to avoid dealing with any complaint or having to apologise. The other issues aren't as major, but were: - Communal areas (bathroom and kitchen) were dirty and not cleaned during our stay. - The room was very warm. - The TV didn't work.
Scarlet (5/5): Good stay but quite odd. - Easy to check-in, although the map from bookings took me to number 28 and not 20. Was a very large property, kept clean, lots of things in the room that weren’t on the picture which were a nice surprise; kettle, mini fridge, cutlery and plates etc. The bathroom with this room DOES NOT have a loo!!! It’s ONLY a shower and a sink. The washing was left in the washing machines so I had to unload it and then it was left draped over furniture. The property was also VERY warm! The heating could definitely do with being turned down. The bedrooms blind also wasn’t very good so it was pretty bright in there during the night. Also the cupboards in the kitchen and the fridges were very confusing, there was a LOT of food in there but you couldn’t tell what was open for all or someone else’s as there were not specific cupboards for each room. There were a couple odd things about this property, at 11:30pm a woman was hoovering one of the rooms and the bathroom while a man watched her. I’d already seen him in the kitchen that morning and thought he was a guest but maybe he wasn’t and he was living there? I don’t know? There was a room next to ours that did not have a door number on it so I thought it was a bathroom, I walked in and there was just a girl sitting in there on her phone, I then bumped into a woman who was going into that room and asked her where the bathroom was and she didn’t seem to understand me and just smiled and walked away. Over all nothing unpleasant just a little odd and made it feel like we were kind of intruding.
Charlotte (5/5): Good value. - The location, great value, and relaxed feel, lovely facilities. Check in code didn't work, cleaner came by to let me in shortly after, but then they cleaned up until 10pm hoovering, washing machines going off below. Room above was so loud stomping around couldn't sleep and woke up very early both nights. Would consider for 1 night again but not two, left tired!

Kormpas (8/5): Great value for money - 30-35 mins from soho. Very good connection with public transport. Buses 3-4 mins away and northern line 11-12 min walk. Camden as a location is pretty calm, but can be a little sketchy at night, you should be aware (as in most parts of London tho). The attic room was very spacious with its own private bathroom. It was pretty clean. Heater great, hot water great. The common kitchen great. Overall very good value for money, we stayed for 5 nights and were comfortable. The carpets and overall room/kitchen could be a little cleaner as I could see stains on the carpet/cabinets/tables, but it was okay. Also a shampoo and body soap could be a nice addition, but it’s really not a big problem. We had hand wash soap tho! Staff could be a little more responding as sometimes it took a while to get an answer, but when they responded they were helpful and nice!
