- Mphoentle (2/5): Very horrible - Beds are comfortable and place is safe if you are driving outside the country The hygiene is extremely bad, kitchen utensils are bad. Pots are very oily and dirty. No cleaning scrubs or clothes to wash dishes. The mop is filthy dirty. You can’t even clean around the house with it or touch it.
We had issues with plugs nothing was working. The staff didnt take it as an emergency at all. We got food to cook the fridge wasn’t working. So our food almost got spoilt.
We had to change our schedule as their technicians took for ever to come and forever to fix the issue.
It was an extra cost of ordering food Bcs we couldn’t even use the stove

Secure. I saw mixed reviews about the property but booked it nonetheless as I liked the location.
I woke up on my first morning, and there was no hot water to shower with. This was after a day of travel. I called the management company that and they tried to fix the problem.They thought it was a gas problem. After an hour or so, the building manager knocked in and said that the municipality regulate the water flow to the building that impacts the pressure, and when water pressure is too low, the hot water geysers on the roof don't work!
As this can happen at any time, many properties in Johannesburg have backup water tanks to manage it. Unfortunately, they didn't. Something worth knowing before booking.
One of the bedrooms also has 4 small windows with no curtains and light that comes in from the corridor.

- Shadi (2/5): Terrible stay… - It’s in a good area in terms of location. That’s all there was to like. Staff service is terrible. I called at around 8 to enquire about checking details not working, a lady who sounded half asleep told me to call her at 9:30.
Upon arrival the place was not cleaned efficiently with the stove still having residue from previous users as well as dirty taps in the bathroom.
The bedroom I had to sleep in didn’t have curtains and the corridor light was terrible as it felt like daylight throughout the night. Upon a complaint, a staff member called the following morning and said they would get someone to sort the issue out.
What annoys me even more is that they do not refund yet are not willing to improve their conditions to get value for money. It was a terrible stay and I certainly won’t recommend nor make the mistake of biking here again. The fact that my concerns fell on deaf ears is what irks me. I was beyond disappointed.
