• Barbara (8/5): Nice house but fires were a letdown and long walk to town - Nicely decorated house with all mod cons and lots of kitchen equipment and supplies . Great aircon system for both hot and cold weather. Good showers /towels . Booked this house as pictures of both indoor and outdoor fires 🔥 looked enticing but unfortunately unable to use outdoor fire as garden overgrown and unkept . We did have mixed weather but could have used on nice days but not possible . I asked before we arrived if we needed to bring supplies for fire but was told everything we needed was there . Indoor fire was impossible to light with wood supplies left (massive logs and 3 small matches ) but after we purchased firefighters , kindling and matches we had lovely fires . House about 18/20 min walk from town of Katoomba with 3 hills to climb enroute .

• HELEN (10/5): - A spacious, well equipped and clean house. The lounge & bedrooms were comfortable. We had a few cool & rainy days and were happy to relax indoors. The house had everything we needed and was a short drive to local attractions. Fantastic showers with plenty of hot water. The driveway and front stairs were a slight problem for an older person but the sliding door at the back was level and had easier access.
• Brian (10/5): Lovely, big house with lots of amenities - very spacious inside. All on one level. Heating system was excellent (cold mornings!). Small point was that the ensuite sink and kitchen sink draining was very slow
• Melissa (7/5): Really happy with the house - The house was lovely and clean. Well equiped and lots of space for the family. When we arrived the cleaners were still there it was half an hr after allowed check in and we still had to wait outside till they were finished.

House was very well equipped- specifically kitchen equipment/utensils and bathroom/laundry supplies. Super comfy, large lounge. Coffee machine a great addition.

• Carla (9/5): We were very happy using this house as our base. We enjoyed our stay. - The quiet street, the spaciousness and simple decor, the coffee pods and machine, the front deck. The beds could have been more comfortable.
• FAMNR (10/5): - It was a big house with 2 good sized bathrooms. The living space was spacious and the kitchen had everything you needed. Dining area was good too. Enough parking space and yard, outside furniture ok. If anything maybe good instructions on how to use electrical appliances and how to seperate garbage as this was sometimes dubious.
• Joseph (9/5): Great stay at Katoomba-close to city centre - The location is great-close to the Auquatic centre and the Katoomba city centre (Aldi, Wollies, The Yellow Deli). The property is spacious (3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, huge living room) with everything you need, it has a nice backyard. Being able to take our dog was also a big plus.

• Jane (9/5): Comfortable modern suburban house in a quiet Katoomba location - House was extremely clean, well equipped and spacious, with good kitchen, open plan living and dining area. R/C A/C was efficient and effective, particularly when augmented by the wood stove. Large comfortable L shaped sofa, with good TV, sound system and PS was a bonus for wet days. It was a great base for exploring the mountains Whilst large rear fenced garden was well suited for an adventurous pet, it could do with gates or fence at sides to prevent escapes. Standard lamp in living area didn't work and lighting in the dining area could do with a dimmer control.

• Amanda (10/5): - Great set up. Perfect facilities. So good for a group of 3 couples and our doggy. Just wonderful. The fire was perfect for a cold waters night. All the necessary equipment in the kitchen. Realy loved the Christmas decorations that went with ou Christmas in July theme. Highly recommend. The hosts were incredibly responsive. I like a firm bed. 2 of the couples thought the bed was a touch too firm.
• Sm (9/5): Comfortable Home away from Home and a Fireplace which was a Bonus !! - Lovely and quiet. Older Style home which has been renovated internally. Two bathrooms which was great, fully stocked kitchen and 3 Good sized Bedrooms. The beds were ok but would have liked a King in the Master. Nice and warm and also had a Fireplace which is a Bonus. Very easy to collect keys as Lock Box was next to front door. Would definitely stay here agin, yes. Would have liked a King Bed in the Master.

• Bassam (10/5): I would book it again - It's much nicer than the pictures, large house, clear and direct instruction from the owner through booking messages. I asked for a baby bed which they thankfully provided. I really loved the attention to details, there is a PS5, full entertainment system in the TV. I had a car with me so the location was good about 3 mins drive from the center of Katoomba, but if I came through a train or I didn't have a car with me it will be a bit of walking. Over all, it was really nice stay, I would book the place again The beds are really uncomfortable and the mattresses very firm

The kitchen was fully equipped, the Wi-Fi was reliable, and there was plenty of space for all 8 of us and our dog to unwind after a day of exploring. The location was perfect. Everything was close by. Whether you're looking for adventure or just a peaceful break, this spot is a great choice. I’d book here again!

The house is clean and well ventilated. One of the bathroom did not have body wash and the smallest room is hard to get around with the double in it.

Gardens were unkept and lawns needed mowing. Not inviting to spend time in. No aircon or ceiling fans on a very hot weekend. Some windows no gauze so had to close at night. Steep block and driveway . Cooktop and oven difficult to use.

• Michael (10/5): perfect place to have a memorable holiday at katoomba! you will not regret booking this place. - our family’s first trip to sydney and we were happy & amazed staying at this beautiful place. the house was pretty, very clean and got a huge front&back yard, got fireplace in the house & backyard, too. everything you need was provided in the house, from kitchen utensils & equipment eg.microwave/oven/toaster etc., to laundry needs and beds got heater. we were also welcomed by a bottle of wine(that was really cordial) the location was fantastic, too! few walks or drive to the nearest restaurant/ coles(grocery) /the three sisters/ scenic world/ lakes/ falls. you can also just walk around the area and enjoy the place/view for free. thank you so much to the host! we don’t mind booking this place again whenever we plan to revisit sydney… nothing to complain about

Hot water wasn't working for one night, but we were offered adequate compensation and the owner was in constant communication with us and had it fixed ASAP so it was no issue.

• Daniel (9/5): Superb - Spacious and clean house in quiet residential area. We left an item at the property and the owner was very helpful in arranging getting it back to us. Some outdoor furniture near the barbecue would be good addition for dining outdoors. If travelling by public transport would recommend a car a lots of hills nearby and the public bus changes route different times of day so doesn’t always go near the house.

• Rosi (8/5): Very good - Everything was clean and new. Our adult children enjoyed the fireplace on the cold evenings. It was good to have two bathrooms for two couples. There were electric blankets on the bed which was helpful as we had some cold nights and we only discovered the column heaters in the wardrobe of one of the smaller bedrooms when we left. Although there was a coffee machine, there was only ONE coffee pod and no milk at all for tea and coffee.

Thank you . - Cosy Clean Modern Lovely decor Well equipped Would have liked an instructional manual to assist with operating some of the appliances. Eg. had trouble getting the child lock off the hot plate, working coffee machine, heater etc. worked it all out but some simple steps would have been useful. The lights all flickered & the electric blankets turned off the first night but the fuse didn’t blow. Not sure what happened. Lights flicked again the 2nd night but blankets stayed on. Was a bit too cosy with the washing machine & dryer located so close to the toilet.

• Alessandra (8/5): Our stay was great and we loved the home! but just note that you’ll need to buy firewood to heat the home. - Great common space and well stocked kitchen. The house was very clean. The fireplace is the main source of heat for the house, and the owner only gives enough wood to burn a fire for one night. Enough fuel to heat the home should be provided to guests so they don’t freeze in the house.
