Guest Reviews
- Naysha Milagros (10/5): Maravilloso - Que estaba cerca de todo me encantó que podía ir y dejar mis cosas Creo que faltaría una colcha más
- eiji (7/5): -
- Martínez (7/5): 3/5 - The location is right in the heart of Dotonbori and the busy area. Easy to go out for food and entertainment. It was tidy enough, you get what you pay; bathroom and showers are shared (which is just uncomfortable)
- ve.i.l (6/5): Not the safest but ok enough - Fantastic location and very clean at the beginning of the stay. The shower had very good pressure. The entrance was open at all times and hours in a street were people drink and party.
Shared bathrooms were unisex and without changing space, so one had to cross the corridor in a towel, not comfortable as a woman.
The security camera pointing at the corridor was plugged in a way anyone could pull out to switch it off.
The bathrooms were very clean at the beginning but someone used shoes around so it got dirtier and dirtier during the stay.
- Kykynek (6/5): Pleasant - The location was in the hustle and bustle of the city, which is great that you have everything at hand. The window was facing the wall of another house, so don't expect a view from the window, but on the one hand it did dampen the noise from outside a bit. Anyway, the earplugs were useful. The advantage is that there are only three rooms, although the bathrooms and toilet are shared, they were clean and in order. The room was very large, with its own sink and stove. There is no staff but they inform you in advance, you get a code for your keys. We had a bit of trouble finding the room. There are practically stairs leading straight from the street to "some" house. You could see that the rooms are of an older type. The bed was very uncomfortable. The price corresponds to the quality, although we have stayed in newer and better accommodations in Japan for the same price.
- Luki (7/5): Good -
- Edmonds (6/5): Mixed feelings - Fantastic location. Plenty of great restaurants. Walking distance from the main area of dotonbori and close to the train station. The room wasn't very clean. Found some food left on the floor as well as a cigarette butt. The bed wasn't very comfortable and the pillows were terrible.
- Derek (8/5): Very good -
- Cooney (1/5): Shower open to the hallway with no locks - There was no door separating the washroom from a hallway straight from the street. There was no way to shower without potentially being naked in front of the other occupants as the towel rack was fully in the open hallway. The bedding was incredibly thin and didn't even have a fitted sheet between the flat sheet and the mattress pad. This has no security at all. We ended up just booking another hotel and never actually stayed. Do not book.
- India (5/5): Great location, but that's all that's great. - If you want a great location but don't care much for comfort or privacy, this is the place for you. The location was truly wonderful, right in a vibrant and busy neighbourhood with close proximity to lots of cool places. There is also handy storage for your luggage, as well as a very small kitchenette in the room. There were quite a few issues with the place. Firstly, the bed and pillows were incredibly uncomfortable. The towels were cheap, fluffy, polyester that did not dry easily. There was no chair or table in the room. The shower and toilet are shared, which wouldn't have been as much of an issue if there was another lockable door to the shower that wasn't just the shower door. The towel rail was outside, meaning you either risk someone being able to see you naked while you reach out to grab it, or else you have to bring it in the shower with you and hope it doesn't get wet. The shower pictured in the listing is not accurate as there are no shelves in there, hence everything has to go on the floor. Showering here was honestly such a stressful experience. Alongside that, you could hear lots of noise travel from outside and the hallway.
