• Josette (3/5): Plutôt décevant. - Bien situé. Bonne situation géographique. Manque de propreté globale du logement. Ustensiles de cuisine sales et hors d’usage. Nécessité de laver la vaisselle avant de l’utiliser Impossible d’utiliser le téléviseur du salon. Impossible de prendre une douche : pression d’eau beaucoup trop insuffisante pour pouvoir se laver correctement.

• Anja (4/5): Sehr verbesserungsbedürftig - Die Unterkunft war zentral gelegen. Die Schlafzimmer waren die einzigen passablen Räume in der Unterkunft. Das Haus selbst und die Unterkunft kann ich nicht empfehlen. Die Fotos und auch die Bewertung hatten uns überzeugt, diese Unterkunft zu buchen. Das Bad war katastrophal. Aus dem normalen Duschkopf kam kaum Wasser. Es gab noch einen Boiler, den man eigentlich nur mit viel Kraft bedienen konnte und die Einstellung der Temperatur und des Drucks war ein Glücksspiel. Außerdem gibt es nur ein großes Handtuch pro Person. Keins für die Hände oder für die Haare (was bei dem Wasserdruck ja eh unmöglich war). Die Toilette ist extra, allerdings ohne Waschbecken. Find ich auch nicht so toll. Die Stühle im Wohnzimmer waren so wacklig, man traute kaum drauf zu sitzen. Die Küche wirkte leider auch nicht einladend. Das wenige Besteck und Geschirr, was wir für unser geliefertes Essen genutzt haben, mussten wir erstmal sauber machen. Es fehlte ein Geschirrhandtuch und den alten Spülschwamm zu nutzen, kam nicht in Frage.

• Del pozo lopez (7/5): - Good location, on a street full of bars and about 10 minutes from London Bridge station. It's clean. The sofa wasn't very comfortable to sleep

Además, había humedad visible en varias paredes. Las instalaciones estaban en mal estado y no cumplían con lo anunciado. El personal no respondió ni asumió responsabilidad por estos problemas, a pesar de enviar fotos y vídeos como evidencia. Estas condiciones afectaron la comodidad y la seguridad de nuestra estancia, especialmente porque viajábamos con personas con problemas respiratorios y alergias.

• Natasha (8/5): Given this was really about somewhere to sleep and do a basic breakfast and an occasional dinner - it was good value for - We stayed for over a week in the middle of winter. When you enter the property there are several hooks to hang up your jackets and a rack for shoes which is excellent. We comfortably had six here when downstairs as the youngest two (11 and 13) had the pullout couch the only seating room was the table but that was not an issue. We moved the excess stuff like fans to another part of the room so we could pull the table out and all sit at it. There was a tv in the lounge and one in the main bedroom both worked. The free wifi was a hit with the kids. The bedrooms upstairs had plenty of space for two suitcases each, we left our kids sleeping downstairs suitcase upstairs in the hall way to keep it out of the living area which worked well. The shower that is in the bath had excellent hot water. There was also a hook behind the bathroom door and plenty of space to store shampoo and conditioner on window seal in the bathroom. They even provided some basic stuff if you forget. The heater worked brilliantly and heated the house up too hot at times! Location was amazing. Down the local street walking away from the river was a great place to get a hot chicken and a tesco express which would take care of most basic needs. There is a larger tesco within walking distance to do a bigger shop. If you walk towards the river there is some excellent little cafes and bakery’s. The underground train is within walking distance as we walked there nearly everyday. I wouldn’t however be walking there with suit cases to go to airports or Eurostar as it would be too far for that. The communication with the people that you get it from was smooth and organised. They even had some food there for when we got there which was nice. They also had basics like oil, toilet paper, paper towel to get us started - we did have to buy extra of some. Another thing to be aware of (it wasn’t an issue for us) but there is steep stairs to take your luggage up once in the place. Something to be aware of in winter is that things take a long time to dry (clothes or towels). There is no clothes rack to dry them on. This can be combatted by using the coat hangers to hang your clothes and use a broom stick and two chairs to make a makeshift area to hang them in the kitchen near the heater and they will dry quicker. Given the heater works so well this was a great fix! If you are coming in winter, if you have room in your luggage I would suggest to bring some extra towels to account for the taking time to dry as they were not dry for consecutive days showers. The kitchen is on the basic side of things. So wouldn’t recommend if you are planning to cook a lot of meals there - it has enough to do breakfast and cook something in the oven (1 rack only) or on the stove. But not a lot of cupboard or fridge room so be aware of this. The only other thing to remind you off is that there are only double beds in the bedrooms. My husband is tall so a bit on the small side!!!!

• Lucy (4/5): Disappointing, run down - Location was great Run down, it wasn’t cleaned properly fab packet on side dirty tissue down the side of sofa, sticky pop stains on the floor. Behind the door in the bathrooms were filthy and shower was awful I was really disappointed.

• Richard (5/5): Great location, reasonable value for such a location, also quiet and very very convenient for Bermondsey St, but “contem - Location was great, perfect really. The staff/ owners were excellent, very responsive and shared a reasonable set of videos to show access (although Stephen Speilberg they are not!). Lounge and kitchen looked good, recently cosmetically refurbished and there was a nice balcony. There is a genuine view of the Shard albeit from a bedroom not the living room. And on the 8th floor so any local traffic etc was very distant. There are shops and bars nearby with Bermondsey Street and all its great bars and restaurants very easily accessible. It was clearly a current or former local authority property and upstairs particularly was very tired, paintwork, doors etc very shabby. Bathroom was adequate - shower was over the bath so a step in/over needed. The owners/agents had clearly made an effort downstairs to modernise and paint walls but the woodwork and all the rest upstairs was evidence of a long occupation. Perfectly fine for a one night and as stated, a fab location for us so no complaints.

• Jagoda (10/5): The monopoly board really made our stay so much better - The location was fantastic — very close to Tower Bridge and right by the 188 bus stop, which runs 24 hours to the city center. There’s also a Sainsbury’s conveniently across the street. The apartment had everything we could have wanted: a well-equipped kitchen, plenty of amenities like towels, TVs, and a hairdryer, and even a Monopoly board, which was such a fun touch! Everything was clean and well maintained. The host was always ready to help and even prepared a helpful guidebook explaining how to use everything in the apartment, which made our stay so much easier. The only small downside was that the water pressure in the shower could have been stronger, but it didn’t affect our overall great experience. It’s a perfect place for groups of four or more — highly recommended! The low water pressure in the shower, and the floor was sticky

• Seth (6/5): Fine stay but photos are upselling - The apartment was comfy, and the bed linen and towels were clean. The apartment felt safe, despite the outside of the building. The photos do upscale this property, we were surprised at how worn it was versus our expectations from the photos, but some of that may be down to our naivity with the zoomed in shots! There were also cigerattes left in the ash tray and it did smell like prior tenants had either smoked inside or had the door open, which wasn't very pleasant.

• Alex (10/5): - The location was brilliant! 5 minutes from Tower Bridge by walking. The apartment was very secure with good locks, very easy check in and access. The apartment was clean and very comfortable, both bedrooms were outstanding with fans etc included, we didnt use the kitchen but had everything you needed and more. All the TVS had youtube, channels, netflix and the living room had board games! Enjoyed a game of monopoly :). The balcony was brilliant as i myself am a smoker saving me from going in and out the building to smoke every 5 minutes. Lastly the Host was lovely and allowed us to check out 30 minutes later due to a fellow stayees medical emergency. Great communication and great place i reccomend! Perfect for friend groups and families woth upto 4 beds. Nothing was amazing!

Una disposición casi inmediata y tratando de adaptarse a nuestras necesidades de check-in y check-out en la medida de lo posible. La fotos no muestran la realidad del apartamento, no esta mal, pero es mucho más antiguo, y por tanto menos cómodo. La limpieza no era nefasta, pero podría mejorarse mucho, en todos los aspectos, incluida la ropa de cama. He de decir ademas que la calidad de la ropa de cama era muy baja y escasa en su disposición. Por último, la ducha no funciona bien, nos resultó imposible regular la temperatura. Mejorando estos aspectos, la localización y el barrio es agradable, y cómodo para el transporte al centro.

• Beth (8/5): - The bedrooms were great, the bedding was clean and the beds were comfy. The TV was great, it was warm enough and a fan in each bedroom which was great. Communication from the host about how to get in was fab. There was mould around the tiles in the bathroom all round the bath and up the walls. The toilet has really bad limescale in. The kitchen has a leak above the window and dropped into a jug that had been placed there.

Not difficult to find a street parking The host claimed that there is an elevator BUT I doubt if it works because during our stay, it never was working. I have elderly family member and needed to climb up 4 floors. It was very very hard for us. Shower water was super weak. I understand this price I can’t expect too much but it’s really an awful and terrible stay.

• Sadie (8/5): A home from home in the big smoke - Good location for a young family, overlooking a safe and quite quiet playpark. 10-15 mins walk from Bermondsey tube or London Bridge station but fine if you don’t mind walking. This certainly helped us on marathon day and was directionally away from the crowds for relief. Loved being able to see all of the sights of London from one of the bedrooms- Big Ben, the London eye, the shard and the gherkin! (Photo is zoomed in but we could see them all from afar!) The host (although we didn’t meet him!) was really attentive and really quick and pleasant to communicate with. The apartment was great, things like toilet roll were missing so attention to detail could’ve been better but with Sainsbury’s just downstairs it wasn’t too much of a problem. Bathroom could do with some TLC but having a bath was a huge blessing post-marathon!

Most friendly and helpful owner and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of apartment. Everything about the apartment was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had dinner. Great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future. Very closed to all bus station and train as well, so easy travelling to London main city vice versa. Plenty of restaurant and supermarket, very nice for family to stay. N/A

Comfy beds, hot water, lots of space. Clean and tidy. We had lovely hot baths but struggled to get the shower to work and there was a noisy fan in the loo. I mentioned to the hosts and they said they would get the jobs sorted.
