Guest Reviews
- Adrian (1/5): Not recommended AT ALL - The location is good, next to the city centre. We were moved to a different apartment, because the one I rented had no water supply.
We were charged the same amount of money, even if the other apartment had 2 bathrooms only, it didn’t have 150m2 and, in the next morning, there was no water supply either.
I only stayed for one night and, in the next morning, I had to stay in the apartment for someone to fix the water supply, limiting my only day of tourism in Hanoi.
I would never repeat again with this host.
- Fernando (8/5): Local experience with comfort - The location was great, just 15 minutes walk from Hoan Koem lake and the Old Quarter. The apartment is in a narrow street just behind the main one, with very local surroundings, no tourists nearby. The host was very kind and arranged airport pickup and drop off swiftly and with a good and realistic price. Two of the bedrooms didn't have warm water in the shower (first and second floor) for most of our stay.
- Alessandro (5/5): Nicely decorated spacious rooms. Building can use some maintenance. - The rooms are specious and nicely decorated. The space is generally clean. The building is set in a quiet area and a little off the road, so it is very quiet at night. The passage to the entrance is through a dark alley, where it would be nice to have some light at night but a mobile torch can solve the problem. The host is very responsive and ready to help. Unfortunately my experience was affected by some crawlers I found during my stay. Granted it was a very hot and rainy period, which can favor the insurgence of the problem. The host was also ready to help, switching rooms as possible but unfortunately that didn't solve the problem. Needless to say I did not sleep too well. Also, the bathroom fan in one of the rooms needs repairing, and the aircon units might benefit from some filter cleaning. There's no elevator to the rooms but that is pretty common in Hanoi.
On the day of my check out, some major refurbishing was taking place throughout the accommodation spaces, so I could not leave my baggage at the ground floor for the day. In fairness I did not notify in advance that I wanted to leave my baggage but it would have been nice to be made aware of the works taking place as they prevented use of the common area.
- Marie (9/5): Superb -
- Sandra (9/5): Great place to stay while in Hanoi - Location is great, near the center but very quiet. Room was very cozy and had a nice style. Would definitely come back when I will be in Hanoi. The only thing I did not like was the humidity inside the room... But we did experience that in a lot of places in Vietnam so got used to that.
- Katarzyna (9/5): Superb - Very nice, cute and clean room. Good localization. No elevator in the building
- Cliff (8/5): Good for the price and I would go there again. - Value for money. The property was well located, large and air conditioned. Close to the French and old quarters, a few doors away from a grocery store and other facilities. It was tucked away from the street which makes it quieter than some other places in Hanoi, but I wouldn’t say it was quiet, bed was large and comfortable and room stayed cool even after aircon was turned off for a while. The shower toilet area shares the same space but it did drain well. The unit didn’t have its own fridge, but a shared one in the lobby. I kept beer in it and it was ok. There is a bit of a dark murky entrance to the place. No Tv
- Wojciech (9/5): Superb - Very good value for money. The room was clean and comfortable. The kitchen is open to the public, but we didn't use it because there was a slightly unpleasant smell 😇 but everything in the room was great :) Close to the city, easy communication with the owner :)) We recommend!
- Quang (8/5): Very good -
- Tristan (9/5): Superb - Beautiful house and room. Worth the money
- Camille (10/5): Exceptional -
- Phuong (10/5): Exceptional -
- Léa (9/5): Great! - We had a great stay! The place is clean and comfortable. Great value for money!
We would definitely come back! It can be a bit noisy but I feel like it would be the same anywhere in Hanoi.
There is no stove in the kitchen.
- Neuna (10/5): Exceptional - Although on a bigger road it was super quiet and the room was really lovely.
- Giulia (7/5): Good - The room itself was spacious, with nice decor, plus a kettle and coffee, a hairdryer, some coat hangers, and bathroom kit like shower gel and shampoo, toothbrushes, etc. The owner was very helpful and quick to respond on WhatsApp. Bed was pretty comfy. A nice change of scene (and noise!) from staying in the old quarter for a few days beforehand. The WiFi was really bad and the room was quite cold. The bathroom is a wet room. The towels were very small.
- Gabrielle (10/5): Exceptional - Very comfortable and beautiful room located in a calm area a few minutes walk from Hoan Kiem lake and the Old Quarter.
The room was beautifully decorated and there is a shared kitchen.
- Nxuan (10/5): Exceptional - very clean and beautiful room, the location is just near the hoan kiem lake and easy to get to ha noi traditional cultural area, lot of ATM machine around so very convenient. staff is good too.
- Luisa (8/5): Very good - Helpful and available host. Central location.
- Meri (8/5): Cozy room in a quiet location but within short walk to all main sights - Cozy and clean room about 10min walk from old quarter. Weather was quite cold during my stay and the host provided an extra warm duvet. The washing machine and communal kitchen are nice extras. Bathroom was a good size. The advert says that this is an apartment which it is not, just a room with some shared facilities.
- Magdalena (9/5): Nice stay - Big room We stayed on the 4th floor, and you have quite a lot of steps up, but a little bit of workout isn’t bad anyways.
Mattress too hard.
- Genevieve (10/5): Exceptional - The room is super cozy and comfortable. I usually struggle to sleep in a strange bed but oddly enough I slept really well here. The host was also very helpful and responsive to my messages. None :)
- Tram (9/5): Affordable - Great location and the room is adorable No elevator
- Davidpannetier (8/5): Very good - Location Ok
- Kai (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gonzalo (10/5): Exceptional - Excelent room with everything you need in very calm place. Nice neighborhood and 10 min walking to old town.
- Petr (8/5): Very good -
- Karise (6/5): Average and overpriced. - Decor is going in the right direction with art and small touches. Host was trying to be helpful when asked for bus bookings but ended up having to do it ourselves. Other than that there wasn’t much to boast about. The place is pretty overpriced for a room that wasn’t clean, black hair was everywhere, bed, shower, floor. Have paid half that in immaculate hotels not in the city before. The rug needed a good steam clean. It’s down a tiny dark alleyway and scooters park in front of door it’s a really tight fit to get in and out. No toilet paper and when asked told we would be fixed some which never happened. Old town like a 15-20 min walk although this is meant to be in old quarter.
- Léo (8/5): Very good - Nice and quiet place in the south center of Hanoï
Easy going check in with the key box and reactive host
Perfect for one night
- Dang (9/5): Superb - Nice deco room, clean and nice location. Good price. Self check in homestay
- Dang (9/5): Superb - Nice deco room, has hot water, good price, nice location and have bike renting service. Self check in homestay, no cleansing room daily.
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good -
- Anonymous (8/5): I really enjoyed my time here and gonna come back in the near time - - Clean and spacious room, comfortable bed
- Quite at morning and evening
- Well-equipped room with all the things you need at home None
- Hancox (10/5): Exceptional - Beautifully decorated, warm, cozy and very pleasant. We extended our stay. Well located 20m walk from the old quarter. Check in is done remotely as well, just use a code to get your keys from outside the property.
- Lai (10/5): Exellent - Outstanding place which super near HoanKiem lake, new house, supportive staffs and unique decoration, even the owner is pretty too 😂 Defenitely stay here in my next trip to Hanoi Everything was over my expection😅😅😅
