Guest Reviews
- PHILIP (8/5): - The location was excellent. The unit's bathrooms, the kitchen needs to be replaced.
Not really much of a view
- N (7/5): Great location, older property needing upkeep - very nice location House is older and needs work to freshen it up, a spring clean as well. Garage provided was tiny and my vehicle didnt fit so it was in the sun for a week
- Corine (10/5): Home away from home! - Great location. Plenty of space for our family. The tennis court and BBQ are were well utilised and a great asset. Thank you!
- Morgan (10/5): Perfect holiday house for family - Amazing location
- Deborah (9/5): Lovely unit in gorgeous location under the headland - Lovely clean, spacious, light and airy unit with great sea views. Quiet location with an easy walk to the township. Beautiful landscaped gardens and lawns with lots of flowers.
- Maree (7/5): Lovely - Location Screens were not lockable
Watered down detergent
Bad quality shampoos/et
Not enough toilet paper
No aircon
- Caesar (10/5): Brilliant stay, will definitely be back - The views Nothing
- Anonymous (5/5): great location, ruined by a very abusive and out of control tenant - location is the best sadly we had 3 nights with a very loud ans abusive tenant right above us so we got barely any sleep and didn’t feel safe
- David (5/5): Amazing place, crappy managing agent expectations. - Location, location, location. 2 minute walk to the sand, 5 minutes to shops.
Bright, open, beachy feel, views and sound of the ocean from lounge area. I don’t know how a guest can be charged $350 as a cleaning fee (on top of the $300 a night rental), and then have PLASTERED on all the walls and the compendium instructions like:
- On vacating:
o Pile dirty linen on the floor
o Dishwasher left empty
o Empty fridge
o Remove rubbish from bins to property bins in correct sorting
o All plates, cutlery, glasses and utensils are to be packed away clean before you vacate the premises, along with unpacking of the dishwasher
o Remove all food from the fridge and rubbish from the house and place in appropriate council bins
o Bins are to be taken out to nature strip on bin days according to the calendar provided (are you effing kidding me??????????? take your bins out??????????? All the other stuff peed me off, this just made me completely lose it)
o A fee of $100 will be charged if the BBQ is not sufficiently cleaned
- I’m ALREADY PAYING YOU $350 TO HAVE THE APARTMENT CLEANED
- If you failed to include stripping the beds, emptying the fridge and taking the rubbish out in your negotiations with the cleaners, don’t put your incompetence as a property manager on your PAYING GUESTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For your 20% fee for managing the property YOU strip the bed and take out the effing bins!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyway, now that’s out of the way – apartment – magnificent – amazing views, blah, blah, blah, read the other reviews for how convenient (2 minutes to the beach) and lovely the apartment is.
Hopefully, the experience will not be soured by the feeling that, rather than having spent 1,000s of dollars to rent the apartment, as well as 100s OF DOLLARS TO HAVE IT CLEANED, you have instead agreed to housesit your anally retentive in-laws holiday home who consider you their in-house cleaning slaves after they have extracted thousands out of you for the privilege. NOT a holiday if you have to do all that sh!t. NONE of this was stipulated when the booking was made.
- Zac (5/5): Fair but little privacy and outdated. - The neighbours. There were renovations going on at the time of our stay and we weren’t told about these before we booked. The communal clothesline was in our back yard - meaning we had people in our yard frequently. There is also very little privacy with neighbours walking past your glass doors and bedroom window looking in. The apartment could do with a face lift. The bathrooms and kitchen are extremely dated.
- Karina (8/5): an enjoyable, relaxing vacation. - the view , location, size / amount of room inside property in lounge and kitchen. the pool was lovely to have the beds were uncomfortable, lots of ants and spiders around, smelt of dog at the entry points
- Mark (8/5): Very good -
- Carlie (3/5): Not comfortable - There was a very strong musky smell most likely caused by mould and the fact that nothing has ever been upgraded. The 2nd room was never used as the smell was too strong and my kids didn’t feel comfortable sleeping in there and neither did I…there was no carpet in the 2nd room either as it’s been ripped up, this is really quite poor. This property needs a revamp and the carpets need to go. The smell really ruined our stay.
- Robyn (7/5): We had a lovely week. - Great location. Beautiful views. The unit is quite tired - mouldy bathroom, bard concrete floor in the bedroom with just a rug on top and generally in need of a fresh coat of paint.
- Kathleen (8/5): Very good - location much older decor - not the same as photos presented
